The best restaurants serving Italian food in South Oxfordshire South East

We loved this tiny spot in town. Great flavor selection and choice of cones and waffles. There are also pint and quart sizes to go. Pricey but worth every bite. Wish it were open later in the day!

Great atmosphere happy and cheerful. Drinks order delivered very quickly. Ordered 3 different pizza they all looked fantastic and smelled great, they were well filled cooked to perfection. They ate and tasted great, we had to ask for a box to take home the slices left. Great value we would recommend the venue.

The food last night was superb! The best prawns we've ever had. The service was excellent and we would 100% come back again. Thank you for a lovely evening

I so need to apologise to these owners. I've historically, (somewhat prompted by the kids in my defence) ordered the total rubbish (in my opinion) that Domino's churn out. No more. Yeah, I could save a fiver, and eat cardboard topped with minimal toppings. Or I could have a proper, tasty, gorgeous, hot, steaming pizza, topped with mountains of cheese and toppings. I chose the latter. But, if you'd rather eat cardboard, from a chain that treats you, & their staff like rubbish, there are other options. Up to you.

We couldn't have asked for better food or service The BEST pizza I've eaten outside of Italy Thin crispy base and the most delicious and unusual toppings I'd particularly recommend either of the Goats cheese pizza's they currently have on their menu The bolognese Aranchini is to die for and if you have any room the freshly made gellato are gorgeous Service couldn't have been better, friendly, efficient and helpful 👍 Highly recommend Thank you so much, we'll be back soon

Great place for authentic, and super fresh Italian food. Visit to believe it. Not much more to say....

First time I have been for a meal here and won’t be back! Overpriced lasagna poorly presented - layers of fresh pasta topped with bolognaise sauce. Had difficulty finding the bechamel sauce. Meal not very warm.

Turned up for a pre booked lunch with our friends, immediately after they were married in Newbury. Restaurant was closed. They had not bothered to notify us and 6 weeks later there is still no apology! Absolutely disgusting way to behave. Don’t deserve to be in business.

We had an amazing Valentine’s day meal with our server Mariana, she made sure we were okay throughout the entire meal and also brought us a free glass of prosecco as she felt bad she couldn’t offer us the free bottle of wine we were emailed as it was Valentine’s day. Thank you!

I went back again and really had a great time. Solo this time. Rack of lamb with mushrooms and wine Zuchotto. Seriously I would go just for the dessert. Shame they don't do any fancy cocktails . I took our Beaver Scout group to Pizza Express in Wallingford at the weekend. We had booked the party experience, but as well as being amazing fun it was informative and educational. Alex was fantastic, he learnt all of the Beavers names and kept them engaged throughout. It was brilliant value at £15 per person which is around what I would expect to pay for a pizza on it's own. The group got to make pizzas (loads of toppings provided), were given an activity sheet to complete, were given a starter of dough balls and vegetables, ate their pizzas and were given a box to take the left over home, had gelato for desert and unlimited squash. It was totally stress free for the adults who accompanied the Beavers as Alex took care of everything. It was all very professional teaching them about hygiene and safety, and the chefs cooked the pizzas in the oven. Thank you to all of the staff for making it a brilliant experience! I have had my daughter's birthday party here previously - I would 100% recommend it for a totally stress free birthday party idea and you can take balloons and decorations.
