Last night, we dined at this restaurant and ordered three starters, which were quite good. However, I ordered spaghetti alle vongole (clams), and calling it "terrible" would still be generous. The pasta was overcooked and completely lacked flavor. Additionally, we ordered extra bread, which was served raw in the middle. As an Italian myself, dining at an Italian restaurant and encountering such a poor standard of cooking was deeply disappointing. Given the high cost of the food, one would reasonably expect the quality to match the price, but this was far from the case. When the waitress checked on us, we expressed our dissatisfaction, but her response was a dismissive "sorry about that." It was evident that she was not engaged or interested in addressing our concerns. When we requested the bill, we noticed that nothing had been adjusted, even though it was clear that the two plates of pasta had barely been touched. I had to personally approach the waitress, who appeared to consult with her manager. The manager's response was equally dismissive, and he quickly retreated to the kitchen. Eventually, the two pasta dishes were removed from the bill, but only after this additional effort. I will not be returning to this restaurant, and I cannot recommend it to others.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Chapters Pizzeria in Canterbury, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we was greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The staff at Chapters Pizzeria were nothing short of incredible. Izzy and Kate, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was memorable. They were so lovely, helpful, and wonderful, making sure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Their genuine smiles and attentive service and knowledge of the menu added a personal touch that is hard to find. The food was simply fantastic! The pizzas were cooked to perfection, with a deliciously crispy crust and a perfect balance of toppings. But what truly stood out was the ice cream that Izzy made. It was absolutely divine, and with some added personal flair. Overall, Chapters Pizzeria offers a fantastic dining experience. The quality of the food, combined with the outstanding service from Izzy and Kate, makes it a must-visit spot in Canterbury. If you're looking for a place with great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional staff, look no further than Chapters Pizzeria.

We found Posillipo on TikTok and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Definitely recommend if you are in Canterbury for dinner. We had our 5 month old with us and they were very accommodating. There’s enough space for a pram if you have one. Great all round! Xx

We had a fantastic evening at Prezzo for our fathers 91st Birthday. The meal was perfect and the service was great. We were being served by the Assistant Manager, the receipt said Adrian G so hopefully that is the right person as we wanted to thank him again for his outstanding service this evening (23/12/24). We would recommend family meals and dates! Great atmosphere.

I am writing to express my disappointment following our visit to your restaurant last night for a Christmas meal. Our group of 25 people arrived with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what we had hoped for. Upon arrival, we had to wait for our table, which was understandable. Drinks were ordered and served promptly by Maddy, who was very helpful; however, she left shortly after, and we did not see her again for the remainder of the evening. We had pre-ordered our meals (except for one additional guest), so we anticipated a smooth service. While the starters were hot and enjoyable, there was a mix-up in the quantities, which we overlooked. However, the service took a drastic turn during the mains. Shockingly, 11 meals were completely forgotten. This left nearly half of our group sitting without food for at least 40 minutes, forcing us to share pizzas amongst ourselves while waiting for the missing meals to arrive. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and accountability. Not once did the manager come over to explain the delay or apologize for the inconvenience. At the end of the meal, we were presented with a £876 bill without any proactive gesture of goodwill to address the poor service. When we raised this issue, we were offered just £40 off the total—a less than 5% discount—which felt dismissive given the scale of the problems. The overall experience lasted 3.5 hours, which was far longer than anticipated and caused us to miss other planned activities. This situation was frustrating and has left a sour impression on what was meant to be a celebratory occasion. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Pizza Express for large group bookings based on this experience. I believe a more substantial acknowledgment of the service failures is warranted and would appreciate your thoughts on how you can address this matter to restore our faith in your establishment.
