Went with a friend as I had a Gift Voucher. Welcome was very good. After placing our order, we asked for Tap Water and never got it. Also food when ready seemed to sit for a while before being served. Plates were not cleared until next course was delivered. On getting the bill I was charged full price for Cocktails instead of special menu price but on querying it was then amended

I took the decision to go at prezzo to eat for the first time. I was very surprise when I ordered a calzone, my favorite food, and i seen that is looks perfect and i was never seen a calzone like this one! It is not just this.... The taste was AMAIZING and ABSOLUTLY DELICIOUS! Thank you so so much and I will come back with my family as well simply because they really love to have a great food like this one! Congratulation for the chef!

We visited while on a weekend away, I was asked my the man seating us if we had any allergies, I advised cows milk. He said he would tell the manager, who then came to the table to go through what I could eat. When the starter arrived I said to the waitress is that vegan? She replied no I don’t think so and returned it to the kitchen. The same dish cane back with another waiter. And again I questioned it as it looked like cheese. I was again told 3 times it was vegan. So I started eating it. When after a few minutes later a waiter ran over and apologised it wasn’t vegan and had I eaten any? They said they wouldn’t change us and we left. I have since complained via website and no one has got back to me. Ruined the expensive weekend we paid for as I was ill.

We went for dinner before visitng the marlow. There were no condiments on our table to start with,our chair must of been ravaged by a rat looking at the state of it,the staff looked the same.were are the uniforms? starter was fine,but the main was hard as nails,chicken&sage with raw cabbage.REALLY.depresing for what you are charging.wont be coming back.!!!!

To be honest I can’t remember what I had as I went 2 months ago but the service was excellent and they catered very well for my wife’s ceoliac condition so gluten free wasn’t an issue. More than happy to recommend.

Firstly, the staff are great and the food is great too. The restaurant has all the charm of Gatwick airport departures on a bad day. Awful lighting, no atmosphere and generally grubby restaurant. The toilets are beyond horrific - super dirty, unpleasant and what looked like human faeces on the floor - really not good. Totally put me off ever going to this chain again. AVOID.

Restaurant was fairly busy today. Waitress was very polite and efficient. Starters arrived in fairly good time. Main course at least 45 minutes later. Side dish was forgotten and arrived as main course was finished.

We went for a work meal, and as it was sunny we sat outside. On the positive side the service was quick and very friendly, but unfortunately the food was both expensive (£16 for a small-ish bow of pasta), and not especially tasty. Most disappointing was the cleanliness - there was rubbish on the floor around the table, and the toilets had loo roll scattered on the floor also (in every cubicle). It wasn't busy at all so I would have expected these issues to have been spotted and rectified.

I recommend the Prezzo in Canterbury. Prezzo is one the better high street restaurant chains, but it is not always up to standard in other towns/cities. Food is expensive at full price, so look for offers available. Service is good. Staff helpful. Food arrives hot. Restaurant always clean. And loos are clean.

Decided to go last minute and glad we did. Had lovely meal and lovely waitress called Bella, definitely need to keep her, she gave great service delivered with a smile.

Very friendly staff and nice restaurant, unfortunately food very average. Not enough sauce on pasta dish and crab spaghetti tasteless 😕it’s a shame as the service was good and so was the starter

The food seems to have really improved in the last 6 months so perhaps they have new chefs. The portion size is better than previously experienced and the service was fairly quick, food was all fresh and hot. This makes such a difference. The waiting staff are always very friendly and helpful. We usually book in advance online but have also been welcomed as a walk in many times as well, especially if you go for an earlier lunch there is usually plenty of room.

We arrived with no booking but were quickly seated. Friendly staff. Good meal. Unhurried and relaxed atmosphere. I can recommend the Crab Spaghetti.

The restaurant was empty on a Friday night which should have been a warning signal in hindsight. I ordered the Goats cheese and red pepper pizza. I like goats cheese! However on eating it, it was so incredibly sweet. I kept saying to my husband that it was like a sweet cheesecake! When I only ate half and mentioned it was too sweet to Lucia the waitress, she said it was the honey they’d added to it. Well, my pizza must’ve been swamped with honey! I enquired to Oscar (Oskar?) to take it off the bill but he said he wouldn’t take it off and that it was meant to be sweet. I brought that half a pizza home for my local fox as he’s not fussy. :(

Best Prezzo we've been to. Great ambience & pizza oven. It does the best pizza in Canterbury according to my husband. He has the Tre Gusti pizza & the tiramisu is excellent. We often go there before going to the theatre & it is always reliably good. Great team at this Prezzo.

Our only previous experience of Prezzo was in Cambridge, were a total Lack of professionalism by the manager , resulted in £20 goodwill voucher. Today we booked to use the voucher , our experience was the total opposite , brilliant - we arrived early due to the heavy rain , Adrian the deputy manager greeted us and despite the restaurant not being open he showed us to a table and provided a nice cuppa. He was so welcoming , friendly & professional , credit to Prezzo. Our waitress Lucia was the same , for high street restaurant unexpected high level of care and service. The food was of good quality , and great value for money. Canterbury we will be back ! Thanks

Prezzo is definitely one of the better High Street Italians, and this outpost in Canterbury did not disappoint. The interior was bright and cavernous with a mixture of booths and tables, and even though we were eating relatively on a Saturday night, the place was full, so definitely worth booking ahead. I started with Pumpkin Arancini, which for a starter was very filling – three big balls of pumpkin risotto rice served alongside a mayo dip with a decent hit of truffle. I followed this with the Aubergine and Burrata Pizza – a big ball of creamy Burrata atop a generous size pizza covered with aubergine slices with pine nuts and basil. I could not fault either of these two dishes. As we had a voucher code for a free dessert, we was not going to say no ! This was the only slight let-down as the Orange Cheesecake had no discernible orange flavour at at all and the accompanying orange segment were straight out of a tin. Service was good throughout Overall though, would recommend for solid food at a reasonable price

Visited here with friends before the silent disco at Canterbury Cathedral. Myself and my friend did have to send our pasta dishes back and we were not happy with them when they arrived but the staff were so helpful and corrected the errors and brought new plates of food out. Food was great (once we got the right order) prices were reasonable and as said staff were really helpful. It is in a good spot in Canterbury which is an ideal place for lunch if you are shopping in the town centre.

Precooked our visit, as we. We’re in canterbury for. Va lentinrs. Day. Glad we did as so many people hadn’t and we’re polit e lay turned. Away. We ordered red. A garlic bread to start and opted for a large one to share. Note - far too much for two people, my husband had a pasta dish and I chose a chicken burge r, with no bun - both arrived promptly and were delicious. Just had room for ice cream and sorbet but skipped coffee. We were served by Lauren, who I gather is a co manager and really is good at what she does, attentive, knowledgeable and the re. When need ed but otherwise leaves you alone. It has to have bee n good, we went back two nights later. And. The waitress, who we had met looked. At us and as I’d ‘weren’t you here on cantinas day?’ That’s what makes this restaurant such a pleasure to go back to

Quick service, nice food, friendly staff. We chose to go here as I had received a code for a free bottle of Prosecco, great marketing as we then had three, three course meals! Easy to order, food was hot and the Prosecco was nicely chilled. It was very busy when we arrived at 6pm then quietened down and was just filling up again when we left about 8pm.

The service was exceptional. Our waiter was so professional and efficient and he really made us feel that he put our needs first at all times. All the staff were great, the food was delicious and we were able to finish easily in time for the theatre.

I had the crab chilli spaghetti. A very small amount of watery tinned crab thrown onto some uninspiring pasta, a few chopped chillis and a sack of rocket . My wife had the risotto which was either drowning or trying to swim and looked and tasted nothing like risotto should. I don't mind paying upwards of 17 pounds for a small plate of spaghetti if its good! This isn't.

Literally the worst meal of my life…. Ordered Chicken, Bacon and Avocado salad as I always have this and it is usually delicious. When it came out, as the waitress put it in front of me, I could smell an unpleasant smell. I began eating and was utterly horrified when I picked up a piece of chicken and the smell, oh dear god, absolutely horrendous. I called over the waitress and said that the chicken in my salad was ‘off’. She immediately took our salads away, leaving my daughter hers (pizza) which she’d then eaten by the time we got our replacement meals. I had ordered the Focaccia with roasted veg and hummus. It was absolutely freezing, like every single thing in it had just been removed from the fridge, bread was soggy and there was what I thought was water on the plate. There was literally a handful of rocket, two sunblush tomatoes and a small piece of aubergine. The meal was incredibly poor and we will not be returning. The only gratuity we received was not paying for the two salads with rancid chicken, which the restaurant did not seemed at all bothered about. Terrible.

Nice pasta and pizza dishes, with a good choice of wine. The waitress was attentive. A good option for date night or family dinners, albeit a bit on the pricey side.

To be honest dissapointed on so many levels. Had a group visit with 13 after the Panto at the Marlow. Food was preordered something like 2 weeks ago, only to be told that 4 mains, 1 starters and 2 deserts were not available. Then when the food did arrive it was on the whole bland and not worth the money. Chips looked like shop oven chips. Much of the food was clearly fast preped stuff with little to no attention to detail. Find a decent independent restaurant if i was you...

Ordered a vegetarian calzone only to be serviced a meat one which I didn't realise until I had eaten some of it! Not eaten meat in 43 years so thank you Prezzo for the worst meal of my life. Wont ever eat at a Prezzo again as wouldn't trust the food to be what is was supposed to be! Definitely not recommended

We arrived at 6.15pm on a Monday evening and asked for a table for two as we hadn't booked. The restaurant was virtually empty but we were informed they were not accepting 'walk-ins'. We ended up at 'The Olive Grove' across the road and when we left at 8pm we looked in at Prezzos. It was about one quarter full. There is no way Prezzos filled up and emptied in the 1 and 3/4 hours we dined in the restaurant opposite. Very, very disappointing. We eat at Prezzos about once a month but I can't see us doing that going forward.

Avoid this place if you want to be fed. Pizza: very sparse toppings, lack flavour Pasta: small portions, and underwhelming; crab and lobster ravioli for eg: - could not tell what was inside the ravioli it was just light brown mush, way way overpriced, portion was also a starter size. No decent meat / protein dishes on the menu. Shrinkflation here is massive. Hiked prices, reduced portions. Went home hungry. Won’t return. There must be 100 other eateries in Canterbury where you can get fed properly and not be fleeced £69 for a slither of tomato puree on bread and splodge of pasta and sauce. Great if you’re on a 50% calorie deficit.

Came on a Wednesday evening and ordered the chicken saltimbocca.. It was served with a bland jacket potato with no butter or seasoning. I was served half a sweetheart cabbage with again, no flavour or seasoning. What was meant to be the sage and butter sauce was luke warm cream and white wine heated up with nothing else added. The white wine wasn't reduced so it was like tasting a very badly made cocktail. The chicken was also slightly over cooked. This was over £20 with a J20. Perhaps they had a trainee chef on that evening but I won't be going again. There are plenty of other much better restaurants in Canterbury. Save your money and go for one of the smaller local restaurants.

The food was very nice, but a warning to customers to check their bills thoroughly. We had several items on ours that we had not had and this isn’t the first time this has happened there. I’m sure a lot of the tourists there just pay without checking properly. Our waitress was not happy at being challenged about the items on it.

Visited prezzo in Canterbury for the first time and was very friendly staff met us promptly at the front of house and were very smartly dressed. We was taken to our seats and given enough time to decide etc. I had the chicken carbonara which was very nice and a large portion. The bacon and cheese on the carbonara was amazing and I would reccomend to anyone to try it out! Also accepted blue light card which was 25% off of the entire bill.

Was really good food, little cold outside but we wrapped up prepared.What made the trip worth it though was the gentleman that served us.He took the time to talk to us and not make us feel rushed, he explained how to order online to make things easier and swifter in these trying times.I believe he said he was going to be the new manager in Broadstairs and was at Canterbury training but I cannot remember his name.Whoever you are we will see you in Broadstairs soon! This was to be a celebration for my son’s birthday. We decided on Prezzo as the food had been good and they were offering a special deal. We ordered chicken in cream sauce which was simply awful. I can only assume this foul was a body builder as the meat was stringy, gristly and tough. Others in our party made better choices with beef burgers and salmon pasta, a much better idea. The honeycomb smash cheesecake had clearly taken a downturn. Tasteless, it had nothing of its former depth of flavour. The service was good and the wine was flavourful. I won’t return in a hurry.

Estos muchachos parecen considerar aceptable llenar una ensalada con lechuga para llenar el plato. El pollo estaba bueno, la ensalada muy sencilla y aburrida. Totalmente poco interesante. ¡También pedí que me vistieran para animar las cosas! De todos modos, esa es la última vez que apoyo a Prezzo. Si no se esfuerzan por satisfacer a los clientes, dudo que los apoyen durante mucho tiempo. Hay demasiadas opciones en el mercado para los restaurantes de segunda división.

Los camareros parecían amables al principio. Se equivocó en nuestro pedido de entrada, lo cual estuvo bien, lo cambiaron rápidamente. Tomó una hora y 10 para que llegaran nuestros platos principales. Cuando llegó la factura, intentaron hacernos pagar con nuestros puntos Tesco antes de retirar el esquema de descuento del 50% del gobierno; esto significaba que hubiéramos pagado mucho más de lo que deberíamos haber pagado. Pedimos hablar con el gerente porque sabíamos que esto era incorrecto, sin embargo, ella también trató de obligarnos a hacer lo mismo. Somos dos chicas de veintitantos años, así que creo que pensaron que podrían aprovechar eso. Fuimos a Prezzo para una comida familiar y pedimos. 2 x platos de pasta. Ambos carecían del estándar habitual con Prezzo. Casi no había salsa, la pasta parecía haber sido calentada en el microondas, ya que estaba seca y sin sabor. Realmente decepcionado. No creas que volveremos por un tiempo. Es una pena que fuéramos clientes habituales.

Reservé una mesa para almorzar un domingo. A pesar de que el servicio es rápido y profesional y los entrantes son encantadores, los platos principales estaban por debajo de la media. Tuve la penne de salmón ahumado en roble y lamento decir que no era muy buena en comparación con visitas anteriores. No había salsa, apenas salmón y la pasta estaba extremadamente caliente pero sin sabor (casi como si estuviera en el microondas). Normalmente hay brócoli en la pasta, que también estuvo ausente.Un miembro de la familia también experimentó los mismos problemas con su plato de pasta, sin embargo, todos los demás en la mesa disfrutaron mucho de sus platos (así que una mezcla).Totalmente decepcionado y probablemente no aproveche la oportunidad de visitarlo nuevamente.

No estábamos planeando salir a almorzar, así que no habíamos reservado una mesa, pero el personal amablemente nos dejó espacio. Fueron increíblemente acogedores y me informaron sobre las instalaciones para cambiar pañales de mi hija recién nacida que llevaba en el pecho. La comida fue sacada con prontitud y estaba maravillosamente preparada. Elegí la hamburguesa porque tenía en brazos a mi hija, así que necesitaba algo fácil de comer, pero no puedo esperar a probar algunas de las otras cosas del menú. El personal fue atento y se acercó y respondió a cualquier consulta rápidamente. La comida tenía una excelente relación calidad-precio. ¡Decidimos reservar una mesa para la próxima semana!

My daughter called in first to prezzo about 11.30am and asked what time they opened they was really rude to her she was 13 we come back at 12 o’clock .When the lady was rude the first time we shouldn’t of gone back at 12 but my daughter really wanted Italian pizza .well we have Never been so embarrassed I walked in to prezzo the second time at 12 o’clock with my daughter and my two younger children the man asked me in front of all the other customers if I was coming in would I keep my kids under control and not let them scream and shout this was my first time to this restaurant and don’t even know this man. I walked out and went to zizzi restaurant and had amazing customer service great food and guess what .my kids didn’t run around didn’t make no noise and we had a lovey meal

5 of us came for lunch to prezzo today. It was lucky we booked the table as the restaurant was filling up as soon as they opened the door. Our waiter Paul was very friendly and made sure kids got their food pretty quickly. My son loved the kids pizza margarita. I had a chicken burger which was delicious and my friend had a calzone which was amazing too. Thanks to the government scheme the price of our lunch was next to nothing. We noticed that the tables and chairs were cleaned really thoroughly after the customers left which just shows the staff is taking the current situation very seriously. Big thank you to the chefs for the lovely food and to all the staff who looked after us.
