What a great find. We came for an early tea as we were going to an event. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we were given a very warm welcome. The service was perfect and the pasta was the best I’ve tasted for years. Really flavourful, delicate and piping hot. Followed by scrummy ice cream. Even a perfect pot of tea, and that’s rare these days. Prices extremely reasonable. Definitely one to visit again. Thanks to the chef and lovely staff.

Superb food. Lovely restaurant. Friendly service, but overcharged as one of the meals was from the 2 courses for £20 menu, yet the items were charged at the alacarte rate totalling £30.90. We only noticed when we returned home If you offer a special lunch menu you should ensure you charge the right amount. This added around 10% to our bill notwithstanding the tip we left . That said we will return, but will definitely check the bill.

This has been our third visit over a period of a few years. I remember our first visit was nice, but because the restaurant, believe it or not, had run out of most of the dishes. The second visit was, in part, curtosey of the management for a poor experience. The third visit was enjoyable with quite an extensive menu, and the food was very tasty without being a wow factor. But there is something wrong with the atmosphere at Pesto. The staff were curtious without being enthusiastic, and the use of stone tables makes the eating experience sound like a school dining hall. All clatter and noise.

I visited here with colleagues for a mid-week evening meal. There are some great deals on such as early bird where you get three courses for £16.95. I opted for that as the options I was going to get for starter and main were on there anyway and it worked out cheaper to do that than order them from the main menu (plus I got dessert in the early bird price too!) Starter of fried halloumi was really nicely cooked and a perfect sized portion. My colleague had calamari but they felt it was a bit soggy for their liking. For main I had penne dolca vita which was really tasty, It was nicely cooked, had a decent kick and flavour and was suitably portioned. Dessert I had ice-cream which was fine. Overall we had a good evening here and the food was a standard expected of a good Italian restaurant. Service was friendly and generally efficient. Would recommend for a good value Italian meal

Went with Family for a get together, food was amazing very flavoursome and well presented. Service started a little slow but can't fault it, atmosphere great the only negative is the place was a little cold. Prices are very reasonable for what you receive on the plate, it's a must if you like good food.

Second visit, second 5* review. I never review twice but I can’t not review again as it was an incredible evening. I’m very shocked at the recent 1* review. We visited last Saturday evening and everything was exceptional, again. Still Michelin quality food and service. The wine and coffee equally exceptional.

I’ve had 3 experiences with Luca at the buck and non of them were great. The first time we had booked online to visit on a Monday, when myself and my friends met up at the restaurant we were turned away and told it was shut on a Monday, this was despite being able to book online. Both other times when we have managed to eat we found the food to either be really spicy or just bland. The chicken Milanese and the pizzas are worth getting. The calamari although well presented was one of the worst I’ve ever had. The carbonara is bland and the hummus itself was nice but served with crudités not bread. I find the service is always slow in here (even when it was spitroast) we almost always get our food before our drinks. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unless you were really stuck for choice, the Luca in Allerton is much better.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Quattros for many years, visiting regularly with friends and family and spending thousands over time. However, after tonight’s experience, I won’t be returning. I dined there with my brother, who ordered a pepperoni pizza with chicken breast pieces. The bill came to nearly £100 for two pizzas, two garlic breads with cheese, two chips, and 3.5 pints of Peroni. I questioned the amount, and Paul, the staff member, confirmed the total before I paid and left. Afterward, I called to ask about the charges, only to be told that the chicken on the pizza cost an additional £20! This is completely unreasonable and feels like an attempt to overcharge loyal customers. To charge £20 for a few pieces of chicken on a pizza is excessive, and it has left me deeply disappointed. I’ve enjoyed many meals here over the years, but after this experience, I won’t be coming back. It’s a shame that a place I once enjoyed has lost its value.
