Fantastic food and great service, you don't have to wait too long, nice large restaurant so feels roomy, will be going again soon.

I've not been here for about 20 years, pleasantly surprised. Nice looking place, friendly staff, and food was very tasty. Party of 6 adults but looks child friendly as well.

I was taken to Quattros by two friends for a meal and to my surprise 😲 a group of friends were there. Service and meals were excellent. Celebrated my 60th in style. All food - starters and mains absolutely so tasty and piping hot.

Arrived as part of a large party. Service was pretty good from start to finish. 5 stars. Food was decent but I wouldnt say outstanding so 4 stars for that. Atmosphere, appreciate we were part of a large party too, but it was very loud. Very loud before the whole group turned up. Not sure what can be done about that. Do t recall any background music or anything. 4 stars.

We went to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday. From start to finish I can not fault anything. The staff were so accommodating and attentive, they made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. The food was top notch and the service was absolutely brilliant. Wouldn’t highly recommend 10/10! Thank you Rebecca x

New favourite Italian restaurant Boss place with great food, service and vibe. Not cheap but absolutely worth the money. Nice bar area too for pre or after dinner drink.

Been eating at Quattros for 18 years. It’s as good as Italian food gets. Service as always is second to none. But I’ve decided to put up a review due to the food I was served today off the specials menu. I had a brand new starter Octopus with a new main dish Veal and rice. All the food is first class but today’s meal was up there amazing. Thanks to all the staff for another fab meal.

Lovely meal with a pleasant service

The food is great and the staff are lovely. However, when we ordered coffee and the bill came, we were charged extra for having milk. It seems unreal but it’s true, if you order coffee and want milk then there is a surcharge. We did quiet this and follow up with an email but the reply Beas it may have been an error by a new member of staff. However, the till is set up for this because it was itemised in the bill. It’s not the price, it’s the principal. Where else do you know that charges you extra for a splash of milk in your coffee?

Love this restaurant we have been going for years and never had a bad meal .The staff are always polite and helpful . Would highly recommend it .

Food was nice enough and went into this knowing the reviews regarding the service. We were pleasantly surprised with the staff themselves. However the clear issue is the owner, his attitude and the system he has everyone working to which leaves customers waiting for significant periods of time with complete disregard. The staff informed us that the owner is the only person who can take all orders and pay for bills through which is completely ridiculous when you have a restaurant of more than 30 tables all which have been seated within an hour. A table behind were asked 4 times if they had ordered drinks, and 4 times said yes and they would like to order food, they must have waited at least half an hour after being seated and still had not ordered when we left, We skipped ordering the dessert as we waited that long to try and order we eventually asked for the bill. After taking 10 minutes waiting for it to turn up and asking multiple times and a further 20 minutes to pay we eventually were told to stand at the entrance and wait where there was another customer also waiting. The staff were clearly stressed and told us every time they came past that they had shouted at him multiple times to come. He finally showed up 10 minutes later. The final nail in the coffin was when speaking to the owner both myself and other customer stated it has taken such a long time and he should train his staff in other roles, he was completely unapologetic, no comments made and just smiled and said bye. Absolutely awful way to finish a meal and very disappointing to know that it is not the staff but the mismanagement is being ran from the top. I would not recommend this place purely based on the owners attitude.

Great restaurant and good service

We waited a while to be sat because only the manager can sit patrons, this was followed by part of a drinks order being forgotten about. My wife ordered a fig special starter which was very nice. I ordered the burrata which tasted sour and a little funky. It was either going off or had been frozen. Sadly when our plates were taken the waitress didn't notice I hadn't eaten much off it, not very well trained staff or domineering management. The manager later asked if the food was ok, I told him the burrata tasted sour and a little funky. The man immediately got offended and told me no one else had complained about it. We carried on with the meals, wife got the lasagna which was ok for lasagna and I got the prawn and scallop risotto. Scallop and prawns were ok but the risotto cream sauce had no depth of flavour. The dining room and table settings were well done. We then had to wait for our bill because only a manage can print bills and take payments. I did tell the manager when paying I felt he was rude. He told me he the chef said the burrata was fine. Sadly I needed to remind him he was he dismissive me well before speaking to the chef. Sadly a restaurant that puts style well over substance. Staff clearly arnt trusted or trained. Food is alright but I have had better street food at a fraction of the price. They are clearly cutting some corners and costs with ingredients. I probably wouldn't go back.

This restaurant has been one of my favourites for over 20 years , with friendly , welcoming Italian staff ( or at least they sounded Italian ! ) Last night The young waitresses were rude and inexperienced , with the wrong attitude to be working in hospitality. Having advised we wanted a break before looking at deserts , she continued to come to our table every couple of minutes asking if we had decided . When I eventually asked if there was a rush for the table she snarled at me that she only came over because we asked for the menu , but not to worry as she wouldn’t be coming back ! I complained to the manager , who knocked our drinks off the bill , but that was not really the point . This was really shocking ! We felt really uncomfortable, and cut our night short and left the restaurant . I will not be returning to Quattros , which is such a shame , as despite the shocking attitude of some of the staff , the food is really good .

Always had it on our list and finally got round to making a booking and so glad we did. Very warm greeting on arrival, great buzz in the restaurant and the food was excellent! Goats Cheese Panacotta and Calamari to start, followed by Salmon and Chicken a la Creme. All the food was fresh and really tasty. Lemon cheesecake and Tiramisu for dessert, noted as home made and it clearly was. All fresh and delicious. Will defiantly be back soon

First time visit and it won't be our last. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent - best spare ribs I've had in ages.

For me, this is the best restaurant in St Helens, hands down. The monkfish black pasta is unbelieveable, cheesy garlic bread is the best I've ever had. The only thing I would suggest is lowering the temperature in the restaurant, it is far too hot and feels a bit stuffy. The prices are a bit high too, although happy to pay because the food is so nice. Overall, I would return every week if I could.

Just driving past, it looked very nice so me and my girlfriend and we decided to stop for a bite. We ordered garlic bread with tomato, a salad, and spaghetti bolognese. Everything was delightful!!! Quick and thoughtful service. We will definitely be back!!

Great atmosphere my two kids loved the food and actually tried different foods and liked it soo much we had to go back again which is unheard of.

Ridiculous wait between coarses over 1hr booked for 6.30 got the table at 7pm waited 45min for starter then over an hour for main coarse and then 45min to receive the dessert slowest service I have ever received anywhere. And it wasn’t even full!!! Need more staff or cooks shocking no apologies pulled there face when you asked were was next coarse. On the upside food was really good but you don’t want over 4hrs to for a meal

Had a lovely time for birthday celebrations. The food was enjoyed by us all evident by our empty dishes.

My husband took me here for a birthday surprise the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great all staff very attentive and pleasant I love coming to this restaurant it’s always an amazing evening

Lasagna was not fresh. I noticed this because the centre of the foot was cold but the outer part was hot . You could tell it was microwaved. Expecting to have fresh food when I pay to go to a restaurant as such.

whilst this was a lunchtime visit the menu selection was very good, the service was excellent and the staff superb 10 out of 10

Not what it used to be. Super disappointing.

My partner and I came here last night for the first and was not disappointed. The menu had an excellent selection of appetisers, starters and main courses. What we chose was lovely and hot and was delicious. To round off the evening we had a couple of liqueur coffees. The staff were excellent especially our waiter whose name escapes me, but please pass on our compliments to him. Overall a fantastic evening and will definitely come back. 😀😀.

We've been coming here on and off for over 30 years, and whilst we've seen lots of change, somehow the atmosphere and quality of food have remained a constant 5 stars all the way.

10 of us ate on Monday to celebrate our sons 4th birthday. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Restaurant is very clean and well presented. Definitely give it a go!!

We went here (again) for my nephew Jamie’s birthday on Thursday 21st March. 5 adults, 1 teenager and 1 8 year old monster! We had a fantastic meal as always. I had Scallops and Chorizo to start and it was absolutely amazing - possibly the best I’ve ever had. I had Seafood Linguine for my main and this was fantastic - tons of seafood - brilliant!

Lovely food if a bit expensive though I don't mind paying for quality. Main course took longer than we would have expected but dessert was quicker. Very busy on a Tuesday night. Would definitely go again but perhaps a bit earlier (say about 6pm)

Disappointed in so many ways. This used to be one of the finest Italian Restaurants in the area, this time I left here with campilerbactor food poisoning, and when I told them about it, their attitude was terrible, do not dine here

Recently celebrated my dad’s 70th here. Table of 12 on a Saturday night, service, food, everything was 10/10! Cant recommend enough. Thanks again. Helen

A brilliant dining experience, friendly and very helpful staff. It was very busy, but the food and the service were excellent. Didn't have to wait long. The only downside is parking.When busy parking can be a bit of a problem as the carpark is only small. There is on street parking but also limited. But if you love Italian food I can highly recommend Quattro's

This is one of my favourite restaurants excellent food excellent staff child friendly and great atmosphere always make u feel welcome cannot fault at all dine here quite often tou will not be disappointed and even when busy 😀

Fantastic sirloin and great atmosphere

Went for a niece's birthday party. Food was excellent, I couldn't fault it, the atmosphere was great very friendly and helpful staff easy to get to as it's very close to the junction 3 of the M58.

I took my partner for his birthday. I had the mussles starter and he had the meats,olives, cheese. I'd have preferred the muscles to be in a wine cream and garlic sauce but nevertheless they were AMAZING! And the portion was huge! My partner said his meats was okay but the olives had pips in them and he recieved a scrap of cheese. Again nevertheless it was the first time for him to have that sort of starter and enjoyed it all the same. For mains he had the fillet steak - he LOVED it. I had the salmon with hollandaise sauce and potatoes- I asked for the salmon well done and it came with a crackling skin - WOW. Iv never ate the skin before. It was delicious. For dessert he had the sticky toffee pudding and I had the creme brulee. He loved his but I'd have liked a bigger portion for the creme brulee it came in a little cup. It was also not as thick as I'd prefer. I did tell them it was his birthday and I'd have liked a little bit more fuss that just a candle in his cake. BUT overall we really enjoyed it here. We would love to go again. At the end when getting the bill I was also happily surprised :)

First time visiting after a friend recommended it to us. And it was very very nice.

Delicious food - they will do any pasta as a starter size including lasagne 😁 and it's all tasty and high quality.

I have been going to Quattos for years and it's always been a favorite for special occasions. I'm not sure if it's recently changed hands again but I went tonight for a meal and the service was TERRIBLE. We had booked a table for 7.15, turned up just in time and was left waiting at the door for at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Staff members came up to the door but didn't say a word. We were then told to sit at a table in the bar area and order drinks. We didn't get seated at our table until 7.50, 35 mins after we arrived. I don't even understand how as there where loads of empty tables. The food was nice but we ordered drinks with our meals that didn't turn up until the end of our mains (we ordered starters too). When we went to pay the bill it wasn't until I left that I realised we had been wayyy overcharged and when I called no apology. I'm super disappointed and won't be going back which is a shame as its always been a lovely place to go. The staff definitely need a lesson in customer service.

The food was really lovely! The majority of the service was great, some of the waitress’s and waiters were unwelcoming but Shannen was very smiley, friendly and accommodating.

Food was excellent, the atmosphere was let down by the music being too loud, I couldn't hear what the waiter was saying and he couldn't hear me, even told him the music was too loud.

This was my first time at this restaurant but I have to say it won’t be the last time. The food was really nice and the atmosphere was great.

Wonderful evening made all the better by attentive and understanding staff who went above and beyond.

Had a lovely meal here with colleagues. Would reccomend and will be visiting again.

This is a lovely place and the food is amazing. Its a great atmosphere and fantastic service. I love having a meal here. They food really is good , lots of lovely flavours and good portions.

Had wonderful meal tonight 4 adults ..and the food was gorgeous. Staff amazing..all food piping hot..and very reasonable prices.We expected it to be more. Our 2nd time there.. won't be the last.

Birthday party of 8 people. Service good and food very good good choice of specials. Only down side had to park a good distance away as carpark full and local road in the vicinity full too.

It’s been a while since we had been here. It’s still a great Italian restaurant ( specialising in seafood) . We had a table of 6 plus a baby for lunch and were made welcomed . We will return.

Although lived in the area for 12 years, first visit to Quattro’s. Recently heard good recommendations so decided to go for a family meal. WOW! What amazing food, lovely restaurant and brilliant staff. So much choice on the menu, we all ordered something different and we all really enjoyed the food. I can recommend the duck! The sea bass was also gorgeous! The specials had a great choice too. Scallops were lovely! Certainly going back. As all the food looked and tasted amazing.

Booked a table for 8pm. Eventually got a table late. Then left waiting at the table with no food order taken and drinks run out. Had to go and find somebody to take orders for both. Food came. Average at best. So many better places locally. Not for us again.

Friends from St Helens took us out to lunch here and we were very impressed with both the quality of food and the welcome and service from our friendly waiter. We would certainly visit again.

Absolutely gorgeous! From start to finish it was outstanding! Definitely hands down our favourite place! The staff are so hostible and welcoming aswell as on the ball, fast, efficient and accomodating. The food is prepared so fresh and is off the scale gorgeous yet such reasonably priced!!! The wine is crisp and ice cold, and the interiors are exquisite yet cosy. Nowhere comes close !

Small portions. Lamb chops over cooked. Whole dish under seasoned. Tiramissu not the best, tasted like frozen rather than fresh made. Service wasn't the best. Staff not very friendly.

From start to finish we had a wonderful experience celebrating with family and friends. The manager and all her team were fantastic we may off waited for our drinks not long but we aren't the only people in the restaurant so understand that we may have a little way. We were allowed to take a birthday cake which was amazing the whole restuarant sang to my elderly mother who nearly cried at this wonderful gesture.

Where to start! When we booked we asked for a table with good lighting as my mother in law has trouble with her eyes, we were told this would not be a problem, but when we arrived we were seated a a dark table in a dingy corner and told there were no other tables available. The service continued to be poor from then, we were not asked if we had any allergies! the waiter took all our menus before we ordered so we had to remember what we wanted, the waitress came back and said that some of the starters were sold out, something that should have been advised before ordering. The main I had was a bland tasteless vegetarian pasta dish, basically cooked pasta peas and cream, no flavour at all! The table was only part cleared and we had to wait ages for the dessert menus, clearly the focus was on the larger groups not us party of 5! Clearly a restaurant that thinks more about packing customers in rather than service! Luckily we don’t live anywhere near this place, but my in laws said they will never go back!

The car park is totally inadequate and exceedingly very small. I am disabled and there are only three disabled bays and one cannot be used if two are already taken . I had to park in the adjoining road some distance away which caused me a lot of pain and distress.

We have found the food to be quite nice here, a little expensive for what it is but ok enough to keep returning. However like others, we have found the service to be very poor. On previous trips we have booked and asked multiple times to be seated on a table with very good lighting due to a poor sighted family member but they haven’t bothered to do this. No difference on Saturday night when we walked past numerous suitable empty tables with the same number as our party only to be given a table in a dark corner. They refused to move us when we complained so we had to read out the menu which took quite a while. Service was rushed, they want you in and out with no warmth or friendliness. The first things we ordered were no longer available, menus were removed before we ordered and we were patronised by the waiter about how we described items to order. The food was average, calamari was bland and a vegetarian pasta dish was tasteless. Our evening was interrupted several times by the whole restaurant being made to sing happy birthday to various people, it reminded me of Frankie and Benny’s, to be honest I would rather of eaten there! Plenty of much nicer dining experiences in the area where you can easily park.

I would give this 0. Booked a table for a birthday for 7pm and we’re told we have to wait which is fair enough. Half 7 still no table but 5 families who came in after us got seated. When we finally complained we were told to wait again no apologies and still no one came to take our drinks order despite all the other tables having this service. Finally sat down 40 minutes after we came to the establishment after complaining a second time. When sat down we then waited another 25 minutes and not one staff member came to take or order/drinks. I’ve never walked out of a restaurant before but the way the staff treated us and no apologies were given on the way out, we couldn’t waste anymore of our money.

We went for a birthday meal. The food was average (starters and most mains ok but 2 mains overcooked and most desserts awful) The restaurant was empty when we arrived and a lot of staff hanging around chatting. It took 3 attempts and nearly 20 minutes to get our drinks. The staff don't have any clue about the wine or drinks in general. Ordering the food was equally hard work, you have to chase for attention and any question you ask it met with a blank I don't know. We asked which desserts were homemade and was told 3, but when they came 2 obviously weren't - in fact one had plastic wrap in it, when we complained nothing was done! Accross the evening it got crowded and was full of rowdy, drunk younger people. On the way out my husband spoke to the manager and said we wouldn't ever come back due to the awful service and his only reply was "I know it is bad" not even a sorry! Please don't go here, there are far better places to spend your money!

7 of us visited on a Sunday ages ranging from 19 to 72 we all had three course and everything was presented lovely the food was absolutely delicious the staff were really nice and their service was excellent we all said we will definitely go again and would highly recommend The menu has something for everyone well done to you all compliments to the chef

Amazing atmosphere and stunning food accompanied by an attentive service. We really had a great time and am looking forward to going back.

A long time since we last visited. It has been really modernised and the 'lounge' area is very nice. Would have arrived earlier if we had known we could have sat there and had our predrinks. However, you could tell we were on the peripheries of scouseland. Adults and kids in tracksuits, playing games and watching sport on phones. Not what you want later on a Saturday night, particularly when we have been to restaurants where they take your phones off you when you arrive. That said, the main reason to go is to eat. The food was superb. 2 starters, 2 mains, 3 sides and 2 desserts. Could not fault any of it. Delicious. We were warned about the prices but I have to say it was very fair for the quality of food on offer. Put a dress code on after 1800 on a Fri & Sat and we will be back, as the food deserves another visit.

Went to quartros last night. The food is absolutely top notch. I had the mussels to start but most of the group had the bbq ribs. I have no gripe about the mussels however having tried a rib, there is no doubt that I will be having ribs next time for starter. Outstanding sauce for them. For main course I had the fillet steak with red wine and Stilton sauce. Phenomenal tasting steak and sauce. My piece of steak was small compared with the others which I mentioned to the waitress but they didn't apologise or rectify. That is the only flaw of the night. Other than that superb food, will be back soon

Everything was great with one exception, we were seated in front of a wine rack on the wall and had to lean out of the way when staff were getting the wine for other tables. The table was booked in advance and as there were several empty tables I feel we should have been seated elsewhere, that being said it was the only negative thing about the meal so I would still highly recommend going here

The service was awful, starters came out with main meals , steak was over cooked, we ordered drinks for the children they took 20 mins to come, food was ok at best. Table was full off empty glasses and plates,

Although the food was tasty the portions were mostly small on big plates. Most of our meals would have fitted on a side plate easily. For example, my grandson , a healthy 6'2" , was given a portion of lasagne 1" wide by 5" long with no side food at all. We were waiting for the rest to arrive. My wife had lamb Henry which was a very small joint with just a small amount of mash potato hidden underneath. Side note,, why do restaurants give very small portions of rice which is the cheapest food in the world ? Quattros is now living on its past reputation built up by previous management.

Not been to Quattros for a while. No real reason just one of them. Managed to get a babysitter and thought we would give it a blast and we loved it. Service and food was excellent. Lovely, busy atmosphere, will defo be back a lot...
