The best restaurants serving Italian food in Sunderland North East

I ordered from these at 9.30pm as a late tea, they close at 23:00 apparently. 45 minutes later I get a message saying my order is canceled as they are closed. Absolutely useless. Thanks for the messing around.

Tremendo En un sábado a la hora de comer y eligió los dos platos para 16 Sopa (increíble - sé que es sopa pero ... ) y pasta de salmón que era enorme y muy sabroso Este es mi italiano favorito y un negocio familiar - se puede decir que realmente quieren que disfrute de su experiencia y es consistentemente bueno Gracias Angelo’s y nos vemos pronto!

Fuimos a comer un viernes por la noche a este restaurante a las 7 pm y no estaba demasiado ocupado. Éramos un grupo y todos pedimos fuera del menú de dos cursos especiales para febrero en alrededor de £ 15. En general, era una buena relación calidad-precio y la comida estaba bien. Tengo mozzarella de búfalo con jamón Parma y pesto para empezar y pechuga de pollo en salsa de pimienta en grano. Este restaurante está en una ubicación preciosa con vistas al puerto deportivo.

Turned up for table booked for pre-theatre lunch only to find it is now called Salt & Pepper!!! Only taking cash and was almost empty at 1.30. Food was lovely however so hopefully they will get sorted soon!!!

We ordered a takeaway via JustEast and were honestly a little underwhelmed by it all. We went with the steak and chicken mixed kebab, which literally only had a couple of pieces of the meat we ordered and then was for some reason bulked out with doner kebab. The meat was okay, but not great and the side salad pretty limp and drenched in vinegar. We also had sides of chips and halloumi, which again were only okay. I think at £30 it was really overpriced for what we got, not sure I would be in a hurry to order from here in the future.

Great little Italian restaurant. Staff are lovely. Food is fab. Right on seaburn beach. Great view.

Brilliant good great staff award winning chefs. Brand new kitchen beginning of year. Always welcoming and great selection of food. New outside area getting ready for the summer. Highly recommended

Ordered for a family takeaway on Bank holiday Monday. Ordered arabiata, pollo Ricco, Bolognese and risotto. Everything was absolutely beautiful apart from the pizza, it was burnt and hard like cardboard. amazing apart from that

Visité Sambuccas en Morpeth hoy con mi amigo y tuvimos una comida encantadora y un gran servicio. El restaurante tiene una decoración moderna y un ambiente acogedor. El personal era encantador y atento y amable y el propietario tuvo una charla encantadora con nosotros. Bueno, sin duda volveremos cuando tengamos otro día en Morpeth. Tuvimos el menú de la hora feliz y el personal estaba feliz de dividir nuestra pizza y pasta como mitad y mitad.
