The best restaurants serving Italian food in Hampstead Town Camden London

Reservamos para el brunch y pedimos un plato principal cada uno y un café. La comida era buena, pero sentimos que nos hubiera gustado más en el plato por el dinero que pagamos. Pedí el rosti de salmón ahumado que era muy sabroso, pero habría sido bueno si venía con un huevo escalfado o setas o aguacate o algo más. Mi marido sentía lo mismo por su orden de almuerzo. La cuenta llegó a más de £ 50 y nos fuimos todavía sintiendo hambre. Si bien nos gustó el ambiente y el personal era atento y la comida era buena - y la industria de la hospitalidad está pasando un mal momento - nos sentimos no recibimos una buena relación calidad-precio.

My parents and I stayed at La Gaffe a few days ago. It was the most homely, pleasurable experience. Lorenzo was such a sweetheart, as was Gaseppi, Dekka and all the staff! The location was spot on, close to everything and lots of food spots a minute walk away. The rooms had all that you need. Each morning, we had delicious bread rolls and fruits for breakfast, as supplied by the hotel. I’ve never been to Hamstead before, but it felt like coming home. Estábamos visitando la zona, no tenía reserva, pero caminamos a las 7 pm . . parecía muy ocupado, sin embargo, dijeron que podían hacer que nos sentáramos en 30 minutos, volvimos y la mesa estaba todo listo. El servicio fue rápido y la comida era increíble. Se llevó una pizza a casa como estaba celoso de todos los demás, pero el ragu todavía estaba muy bueno. X

The ice cream is just lush! The tiramisu was excellent and so was the ferrero rocher ice cream, hazelnut and pistachio. The servers recommendations too hit the spot.

Beautiful Setting, Great Service — But One Letdown I visited Villa Bianca with a friend for my birthday, and it’s truly a beautiful restaurant with a romantic and elegant atmosphere — perfect for a special occasion. The service throughout was excellent and very professional. We really enjoyed the Parmigiana di Melanzane, Bruschetta, and hand-cut fries — all full of flavour and beautifully presented. Unfortunately, the Rigatoni All’Arrabbiata was a bit of a letdown, as the pasta was undercooked and raw in the centre. I did raise this with our waiter, who kindly apologised, but I was still charged for it, which was disappointing — especially as you can see in the picture I posted, the pasta clearly wasn’t cooked through. That said, I would definitely return for the lovely ambiance, great service, and the other dishes we enjoyed. I just hope the kitchen takes more care next time, especially for such a well-regarded venue.

Tuvimos una mala experiencia desafortunadamente. Al llegar mi esposa y yo fuimos acompañados a una mesa central y nos dieron nuestros menús. 10 minutos después, después de pedir bebidas, nuestro camarero insistió sin disculpas en que moviéramos la mesa inmediatamente, señalando una pequeña mesa estrecha en la esquina del restaurante situado junto a la puerta principal. Pensé que esto era grosero y poco profesional, así que resistí esta petición. El camarero se negó a dejarnos sentar y explicó además que algunos clientes habituales han llegado y desde entonces solicitó nuestra mesa. Sintiéndonos como unos clientes importantes de segunda clase, nos levantamos torpemente, pasamos por delante de los “superiores” comensales y nos sentamos en nuestra fría, corriente y apretada mesa de esquina. El personal no era sinceramente disculparse y ni siquiera nos ofrecieron una bebida en la casa! Nos sentimos indeseados y esto dejó un sabor muy agrio. ¡Así no es como trataría a mis clientes! La comida está bien. Un típico italiano local.
