My daughter and I visited here recently. The staff serving were friendly and the ice cream all looked delicious. My daughter had a large tub with 4 different scoops of ice cream flavour. She really enjoyed this. I had a chocolate crepe, which was also really good. The prices were pretty reasonable too. Would visit again if in this part of London.

I bought a one scoop ice cream and I was given an ice cream is so small, I needed a lens to see it I complained, and they claimed it was absolutely normal

Chocolate & Gelato! One of those 'pretty, instagram' places. Avoid peak times or when the weather is good as you will wait ages! Staff are friendly but service is super slow. They have a strange way of serving! Small shop with limited seating. Better to takeout. Gelato, chocolate plus hot drinks and more. Clean. I went on a Sunday morning when it was quiet. They don't have vegan gelato, only a few sorbet options. I went with melon which I had never tried before. Refreshing and light on a cone. Not a huge choice of flavours but there is a sufficient choice. I had one scoop on a cone. My god, talk about stingy. Tiny scoop and pricey. At least give a bigger scoop size. Nice, but for me not as nice as other places. They do well because of the brand name and 'pretty marketing'. Prime location in Hampstead which is a residential area mainly. Very few competitors nearby so will naturally be busy!

Best gelato that I have had in years thanks to a very knowledgeable staff member, Vail, who enthusiastically let me sample various new flavors until I found one that was other worldly! Employees like Vail completely make small businesses like this a wonderful experience. THANK YOU!

If you are in South kensington and see a long queue of people, odds are, they are waiting to get their hands or teeth on some of the most delicious Ice Cream from Italy. Great choice of flavours and my favourite is either salt caramel or pistachio.

Went to the Hampstead branch last night at 2140 and joined the queue. No indication that we wouldn’t get served, so should not waste our time, or maybe try somewhere else instead. Got to the front of the queue at 2200 on the dot to be told that the place was now closed and we wouldn’t be served. Apparently “we don’t get paid overtime to work past 2200”. Either a very poor reflection on the company for only paying their staff to the second the door closes, or a complete lie by the woman not serving us. Either way, not a great look. The service was at a snails pace, long hot day, I suppose, which pretty much lead to us being thrown off the premises empty handed. Could be the greatest ice cream ever; I’ll never know. But if you are going to go here, leave plenty of time before closing or you’ll leave disappointed in bothe company and experience.

I agree with the previous reviewer. Would have been a 5 but my god it was like watching paint dry on service. Staff were super sweet and nice but what made no sense was one on the till and one doing the ice cream. The till part taking orders and money was quick. The girl was then standing there staring into space. Could not understand why she couldn't help her colleague when a load of us were waiting for our ice creams! Obviously serving the ice creams took longer as people selected their flavours and the rest. I was about to fall asleep! Other than that, divine ice cream and cone. Good flavours. Pricey but it was nice and they were generous on scoop size. Limited indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonably clean.

The ice cream is great, the coffee less so. The staff are incredibly slow hence the frequent long waits in line. This could be much more streamlined, and if sitting trying to leave with the volume of people waiting in awkward. Mainly good music playing. Such a shame that the service lets it down.

We ordered gellato, Artisan Chocolates and coffees and really love that. The shop is very nice and the staff polite. We will come back!

Overpriced ice cream, that is very sweet. Crepes dont compare to the hampstead creperie and gelato doesnt compare to oddonos

We absolutely love this place. 1. The gelatos are brilliant (pro tip: have the cone topped with milk chocolate and caramelised nuts) - fam favourites include pistachio, stracciatella, nougatine. There is always a queue outside these days (no thanks COVID!) so you might have to wait to get in. 2. The chocolates are amazing too - really tasty and creamy andyou can tell the ingredients are high-quality. The Cremino and Pistachio bars are a personal favourite. 3. The BEST thing though is the Milk chocolate spread which is made in house daily - it is addictive and absolutely the BEST chocolate spread I have ever had.

Honestly I’m still thinking about this ice cream ever since my lips tasted this goodness! Melted chocolate and crushed hazelnuts at the bottom and then a choice of ice cream on top absolutely amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would of.

I just popped in ste store in Hampstead this morning to have my classic hot chocolate and as everytime the warm atmosphere and the kindness of the staff has been excellent! I think it's the best place to enjoy a hot chocolate or an icecream. I really like it. Alberto

Venchi proposes a great product, fresh and genuine but expensively priced. When I visited it, I had always a long queue and the Covid 19 social distancing was not really respected and none of the staff said something. I would say that prices, attitude and rules in Venchi have to improve.

Rude staff! Average quality and mean portions = Overprice. Too late when I found out Oddono's was metres away. Usually happens when not knowing the area one tries to explore and have new experiences

A prominent spot on Hampstead's fashionable high street may account for the incredible prices of the ice cream. It is good ice cream but I have visited many other ice cream places and reviewed quite a few, and it is not in the top league.

Was charged full price on an 'eat out to help out' day after queuing for 30 mins then got ignored when I reached out to them to ask to remedy this. Very average overpriced ice cream, you're better off going to Oddono's round the corner.
