Caffe Nero in Camden

Decent coffee better than most multiples

This one is of the best branch of Caffe Nero. The staff in particular Maya, Afna and the manageress Viola are great(the same cannot be said about the young Greek woman). This branch is always very clean and tidy. If you visit try either the Maritozzi an Italian brioche filled with cream or the blueberry mousse cake both delicious. These are the new additions to their desserts.

Lovely coffee spot! I have enjoyed spending my lunch breaks there for almost two years now!! The staff is amazing and very friendly and always make my coffee exactly as I like it ❤️❤️❤️thank you so much!

New trainee girl was rude and unprofessional towards us just because we are asian. Even thought the senior barista asked her to take our order. She still ignored us for a long time doing nothing. Still she took the orders of other customers as soon as they came to the till. 3rd March at 1.25pm.

It's a normal Nero Cafe with great service...

The cafe wasn't busy, but the staff didn't take care to make the drinks or heat the food properly. The chicken and pesto lattice was only luke-warm and the cappuccino was a latte. I wouldn't complain, but I got an eye-roll when I asked politely for a re-heat of the pastry. We didn't bother to discuss the cappuccino. Cafe Nero prices have risen recently and the product is not value for money.

Your too good to go collection time said 4:30 pm but store closed at 3pm..please sort this out..

Good coffee, great position near Hampstead High Street and friendly staff.

Not as comfortable as their cafe in Highbury. Music too loud and their chairs are as hard as rock. Very small and busy and sometimes closes early without much notice.

Was a nice atmosphere and nice iced coffee but the food is not great. Can make better at home.

The staff of Café Nero is friendly, they are always receiving customers with a happy smile. The variety of pastries and food is appropriate. The coffee is also excellent. However, the café needs complete renovation, especially the wooden floor tiles (Parquet) and repainting of the shop's interior and exterior. Changing the location of the serving counter by shifting it from the left side to the right side would be preferable as well as extending the glass on the left of the shop to cover the entire left wall. The emptied left side can be filled with chairs and tables to overlook the view outside provided by the glass windows. Finally, I suggest that the closing hours be extended to 8:00 PM instead of 6:30 PM.

Had a bacon roll and a coffee. It was very good. The downside is that the windows were dirty. Service was good though.

Small and cosy shop, but the staff is really bad. One of the ladies at the till can't keep her voice down, not even when swearing at her colleagues. I've been asked three times for my order and still got it wrong. Also, I was given a hot drink in a take away cup without the lid on. In one of the times I was there, it wasn't busy at all, however most empty tables were dirty as well as the shop floor. Maybe more investment in training their staff would be a good idea.

Small & cosy CN...I hope they don't 'modernise' this place too much, it has the look of a quaint Parisian cafe with its neat long row of small round wooden tables.

Place is quite small, but if you manage to find a table it's a nice place to sit and read or write. Coffee was standard Nero and so was the service.

Always good to stop here. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They are efficient and well priced. Perfect spot to sit on a sunny day!

I like Caffè Nero but the shop in hampstead I didn't not enjoy this time. My large hot chocolate it was 45% cream and the classic music too loud. I like classic music but it sound like I was in the third row of concerto. For a small shop too loud in my opinion.

It's a bit cramped. Make sure you specify your milk choice clearly, got oat milk instead of whole milk but it was still delicious.

Cold coffee and greasy sandwich

I just pop in after a busy and hot morning looking for a fresh drink. Both of the baristas was very friendly and one of them also help me to choose a drink and it's been done super fast! The shop was looking very clean and tidy, I wanted to stop and sit there but I couldn't (still I was very busy) but I will definitely next time!

It was ok but I think expensive, but really my Friend and I only went in there to get away from the rain.

Essere italiano e parlare di pizza pasta e caffè all’estero è sempre un azzardo. Ma devo dire che negli ultimi anni, colpa o merito delle recensioni, devo dire che mangiare o/e bere all estero è decisamente migliorato. Nn fa eccezione questo piccolo caffè di quartiere. Non solo un buon caffè ITALIANO, ma la fanno da padrone la gentilezza e la pulizia. Entrate e fatevi avvolgere dalle coccole dello staff mentre sorseggiate del buon caffè.

A lovely and cosy Coffee place in London, friendly staff. Fan of the chain or not, here you will find experts who will provide you with real coffee Italian style. Un espressino will keep you going all day. Everything is fresh and tasty and the smile is not a bonus but a rule. Love this place.

Rote, surprisingly mediocre considering its salubrious surroundings. This particular branch being cosy (space constraints) somewhat "battered" with an insouciant charm. Staff are industry efficient and helpful. Championing the average and this is no criticism.

I use this coffee shop regularly, staff are quick and efficient, always appears clean and tidy. Can get busy in morning and late afternoon but staff always feel eith sues quick. Like the quality and taste of the coffee. Fair prices and food / snacks act.. ard good quality versus cost.

This is a nice respite on a busy road, serving good drinks and snacks. However it was understaffed for a Sunday afternoon when I went. 20 or so guests and only one on duty. There is a toilet but it was not well kept during the day and was without paper rolls. Another member of staff would allow this place to move up a star in ranking

I didn't like the coffee today and the bathroom was awful

Good service and very acceptable coffee. The cafe itself is a bit cramped and over heated; I prefer to sit outside (weather permitting) at one of the on street tables.

I am writing this review with the best of intentions: a) to give some truthful guidance to the people intending to visit this coffee shop; and also 2) to provide some feedback to the owners or managers of this place so that they take some steps to address serious issues that are wrong with this place. Now, this coffee shop is situated in a central touristy area of Hampstead. Yet the the staff here are so unfriendly and hostile with no manners, no class, inability and unwillingness to communicate with some respect towards themselves or the customers. Just worst coffee shop in my experience, really! Please stay away! And managers, please teach some basic manners and communications skills to your staff, because it is a real shame what they are doing to the customers and most importantly, they are bringing an irreparable damage to the name of this coffee shop. Sad!!

Food ok and service very good, the young ladies who run this shop do it with a smile, so full marks for customer service.

It’s a good shop with great staff - overall a very friendly and relaxed place. It’s not very clean however and the WiFi isn’t great. But the coffee needs an improvement. There isn’t enough consistency to rate it highly - sometimes it’s burned or not enough milk, etc.

Great coffee and free Wi-Fi, which is difficult to get in Hampstead

The coffee used to be okay-ish but they have been left behind by competition, cakes are dry but worst of all is how dirty the place is. The tables are filthy, sticky with spilled over liquid and the floor is full of food left-overs. The staff look like they have given up: very rarely bothering to clear the tables and I've never seen them actually wipe the table top. Could do with a health & safety inspection.

Rude, rude, rude staff! Being told to 'move' thirty-six minutes before closing time is simply unacceptable.

Siempre ocupado, asientos al aire libre para un día soleado. Los fumadores alrededor, por lo que no pueden ser demasiado agradables sentados junto a ellos. El menú del café tiene algo para todos y también hay aperitivos.

The flat white tasted like black tea and the filth inside is undescribable. Starting with the coffee maker that they probably clean on a yearly basis.

Love popping over to here for a quick takaway, usually a hot panini, can recommend the ham and mozz, cheese and tomato and cold chicken and pesto wrap. I'm very boring and always get their marscapone and tomato soup to go too, it's delicious. They do a great selection of pastries and can recommend their banana walnut loaf, red velvet cake and their lemon cheesecake and also a great selection of cold drinks including flavoured Pelligrino drinks and love their strawberry milkshake but without the squirty cream ha! They get very busy here and sometimes customers are a bit rude or dismissive to the staff, but they still carry on smiling and always say hello and bye to me no matter how busy they are. The place is always very clean, the food is good quality here and when I have anything heated up to take away it's the perfect temperature when I get back and well wrapped. You can come in here on your own and feel comfortable because the staff are friendly, and the customer base is of all different ages from young children and babies to senior citizens, you also get a few regulars on their laptops shooting up on caffiene working away and can buy little boxes of nibbles or wrapped biscuits etc to go with your coffee. They also have a loyalty card, so every 10 coffees you get the next one free, hey ho! :@)

Pleasant enough coffee shop to the standard you would expect from a multiple chain. Not a very large premises, so s little limited on space..

Ideal location in leafy Hampstead. Clean and newly updated. Plenty of single tables and chairs. Pleasant background music. Staff very friendly. Air conditioning and also outdoor seating. Perfect place for a coffee and watching the world go by.

The coffee drinks are always good here, always hot and the service is always quick and excellent!! My son loves their fresh and flakey croissants. My favorite coffee here is a flat white.!

It is pretty much the same as any Nero coffee shop really. Good strong coffee etc Nice cakes However I did visit on a very chilly windy day and the seating layout does not really enhance cosiness. If you want a bit more physical warmth and comfort then best choose another shop.

Asked for a caramel frappe and got a cup of vanilla ice cream, total disappointment and waste of money.

Coffee is great as usual however this nero it feels that's been left behind in terms of cleanliness and facilities. E.g. the entrance door does not close properly and when is cold, the cold air is blowing in, also the toilet is mess.

It might not be the trendiest cafe bar on the high street but is the one that is not always crowded and has a good coffee bar. Worth trying when everything else is packed

Nero has by far the best coffee out of the high street big brands. Following the trend of profit maximisation through the introduction of smaller tables, Nero has seen swelling numbers eclipse comfort. This said, the service and the coffee continue to be without a bitter aftertaste.

The drinks were standard cafe nero but the toilets certainly let it down. I didn't use the ladies but my husband said the men's were littered with paper and the bin overflowing. The entrance to the cafe wasn't clean either. It was coveted in leaves that had blown in and the mat didn't look as if if I had been swept in a long time. Tables were full of pots waiting to be cleared.
