The best restaurants serving Italian food in Chelmsford East of England

Visited today as a group of 12 for a birthday lunch. Ate of the Christmas menu Excellent food as always and really good value Great Service - staff are lovely This restaurant is definitely the best in the area Highly Recommended

You can have as much pizza as you can eat. If you cut pizza into slices, you are effectively disecting a round food into triangular slices. The diameter of the original shape of the pizza becomes split by a cute angle. Obviously, I choose to eat here because of the reasons I have explained.

What an absolutely amazing experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. While some establishments often try too hard, this was certainly not the case and goes down as possibly the most enjoyable meal experience ever! The staff were like a well oiled machine and little areas often overlooked were dealt with seamlessly and professionally, at times you didn't even notice them. The food quality and presentation was out of this world, as was the atmosphere and decor. While we had an absolutely amazing experience with family, some who had not been seen for many years, it's just a shame myself and my fiancé don't live locally! That said, when visiting the area I'm sure we'll be popping in! We can't thank you all enough.

Amazing food, great service. Overall a superb experience. I love the food here. The Linguine frutti di Mare was delicious, my partner had Seabass and was superb! And the Tiramisu was top. The restaurant has a really nice cosy, family-owned vibe. The staff were very welcoming and personable. Can’t wait to try more foods on the menu. Credits to the chef Edoardo. Always a pleasure to visit Taste of Italy, they continue to produce the best pizzas I’ve had outside of Italy… perhaps even in Italy… but that could be controversial! They are amazing with the kids and always give them a little extra tlc. This time we were served by George, Timea and Elena who always give us excellent service from the moment we walk through the door

The best kitchen in Chelmsford Very nice food , and very good service

This amazing gem of an Italian is run and owned by an italian and the quality of food and wine showed, good service great food . We found out that you can get great coffee and food during the day also as they owned Poliano that was over the road so we will be back again definitely .

The food arrived late and unfortunately all the food was cold.

A very good choice of menu for senior citizens at a fixed price. Food was also very good . Had full choice of the normal menu except specials

This restaurant is sited within the Best Western Atlantic Hotel, the menu choice currently offered is much reduced and not open on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, go elsewhere.

Delicious food and amazing staff!

Uncleared tables are just the norm in this cafe and very annoying. Most times you have to clear a table to sit down in the nice area with casual sits. It was so at 3pm on Friday. The coffee is good but the ambiance is dire.

Rude pretending like they wasn’t rude unprofessional and didn’t deliver even tho I wait 1 hour my kids starving just wanted a nice pizza
