The best restaurants serving Italian food in Brentwood East of England

This is a great restaurant for Italian food and truly excellent service. A group of 6 visited yesterday and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Starters for example: mussels, sardines - everyone enjoyed. Main courses: ravioli (spinach & ricotta), steak, lasagne and all very tasty. Highly recommend the house Red wine: a Shiraz. From start to finish the staff were attentive when we needed them to be. Thank you for a great evening of food, wine and service.

Enjoyable evening, was definitely made better by the friendly service. We arrived a little late for our booking but it was no problem at all for the them. Debora was very helpful, friendly and welcoming right from the beginning and Paul was efficient alongside her also. We didn’t wait long for anything and all was delivered in a friendly manner! We never got the chance to eat here. Went on a Saturday with my wife at 2pm as noticed the restaurant closes at 3pm. We were told kitchen is closed and we had to leave. But what was annoying was the off hand way the message was delivered - go away basically they really weren’t bothered about us which is a shame as we are locals and would have used them quite a bit. New Italian opening in Ingatestone soon so they had better up their game and look after their (potential) customers !!

Went last night for the first time to celebrate a family birthday. The food was fantastic, staff could not have been friendlier or helpful. Reasonable prices too for Shenfield.. will definitely revisit !

Thus restaurant is great for family events due to its laid back atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. My wife and I were in a group of 6 celebrating her birthday. Nothing was too much bother, the staff were excellent. Highly recommended.

We were a big group (c.20) and you wonder how the restaurant will cope. We didn't need to worry. The service was excellent - friendly and efficient and the food was good (I would have enthused a bit more but the topping on my main course pizza was a little scant). Well done.

Order from prezzo from time to time mainly when there is a deal on through one of the many delivery sites. The pizza is always great quality and tasty and they have white pizza Bianco options that I really like. The garlic bread with caramelised onion is always lovely too, this said if we had to pay full price I would buy elsewhere as there are various pizza options locally. But if there is a deal and its the same price I would recommend you give it a try.

I Stay at this hotel all the time and have used the Marco Pierre white restaurant a lot. Have held off writing a review up to now but I think it’s time to come clean. Sadly, the quality of the way the food is cooked is not what you expect a restaurant of such an esteemed restaurant patron to be. I generally have the 12oz filet steak, or pasta. I must have had a steak here 10 times over the past couple of years and I’d say that it has only ever been cooked correctly as requested once, it’s either over cooked, undercooked, but never how I’ve asked for it. It even turned up once completely sliced which I sent back. If you are staying at this hotel, I wouldn’t recommend the food here, a pizza maybe but that’s difficult to mess up. There are better places to eat in the high street and have a better experience. Now that you also have to pay car parking it turns out to be a very expensive dinner experience trust me.

So glad the café is back open, it closed for a number of months last year. It is great to stop by for tea & snacks/food after a long walk with the dogs in the morning. Both Sid (GSD) & Archie (Chihuahua) love getting their sausage treat and are welcomed. Good value for money, staff are extremely friendly and provide a great personal service. Thank you
