A top notch excellent restaurant & one of the best I have been to in this town. Whilst they specialise in Italian cuisine, they have lots of other foodie options available. Drinks are also great and they don't skimp on the quality of the cocktails. Highly recommended! Go there!

Good service from the server very insightful about the menu! The food was very good I had the carbonara it was better than I expected. The cocktail I had was from the Christmas cocktail list and it was delightful. Great selection of gluten free dishes also. Will be returning and highly recommend

A non rushed experience, which was nice. Very vague description on the menu. Polite waitress. Ridiculously overpriced wine, which is currently £7.00 per bottle in Tesco. I was flabbergasted to be charged £54.90. Shall not return nor recommend

This restaurant is just a very short walk from the Royal and Derngate theatre so well positioned for refreshments pre and post shows. We booked a table online - approx two hours before we needed it - so that we had a guaranteed spot pre-theatre. Turned up approx. 20 mins early and were taken to our seats. It's a nicely laid out restaurant where many of the tables at the front can see the food being prepared and the pizzas in the pizza oven. It was a couple of days after Christmas and the place was quiet when we sat down but much busier when we left. We had three courses and most of it was very well received. The deep fried mozzarella was lovely as was the calamari (although the portion was bit stingy for the price). Mains followed - lasagna (no garlic bread included), pepperoni pizza and a child's meal (pizza also). Very nice and all tasty. One of us (me) also had the Pesto Gnocchi. I first tried gnocchi in Milan and it was heavenly ... I don't know if I've been spoiled or if I'm mis-remembering but this version, while pleasant, was nothing like the Milan version. I wouldn't have it again (from here), although I did finish it all on the night. Gelatos to follow were standard fayre but nice, nonetheless. The bill (inc the discretionary service charge) was c£110 for four us. Interestingly (and a welcome surprise). the server who came to take our payment offered, immediately, to remove the service charge if we would so wish. Normally, I insist on these discretionary service charges being removed - if we all allow it, it will continue to exist. However, I was so enamoured by this approach (and it was Christmas) that I allowed it remain and I paid it (although I did not leave anything additional). I wonder if that approach sees more people accept the imposition of the service tax. I won't be so soft, next time. :-)
