The pizza was completely ruined/balled up and coming out the side of the box.

We went in for a pre theatre lunch today and it was great. Quick service, great food and I had 50% off food so it was even better.

Pretty good for a chain. Wouldn't say the desserts are value for money (very expensive for what they are) rest is good though

Erm. Do Not even think of the saltimbucco chicken. Described as... Grilled chicken breast, crispy prosciutto and sage cooked in a buttery white wine sauce served with slow roasted potato al forno and sweetheart cabbage..... What I got was 2 pieces of leathery over cooked dry chicken. In a greasy massively over salted sauce. With what I think was once a hassle back potato.but was fridge cold, soft and coated in the awful sauce. The sweetheart cabbage was a wedge of slightly cooked stalk. Unchewable.. and again drowned in the salty sea of sauce The sage was tiny leaves, mainly stalk and very unpleasant. And the prosciutto was burned... £18.50 for slops. Disgusting.

I ordered gluten free pasta and what I received was not gulten free, I passed out in pain, celiac people, don't order from here.

Would have given more stars but it's one of those place don't accept cash.....give me a choice and don't treat me as an obedient sheep.

It was a few months ago that I went there. But I’ve had a lot going on. So just now I’ve got to write this review. But if you’re a person of colour just don’t go here. Me and my mother went here for lunch. The lady serving us was very rude for no reason. Her energy was so off right from the start she didn’t welcome us in she just plonked us down on the table. She didn’t greet us with no smile she didn’t make conversation with us. She didn’t even. Ask us how our food was she seemed very angry with us for no apparent reason. I’ve never experienced this before at this place they have always treated us very well. But not on this day so it was clear to us that we never did anything wrong. When calling to complain about this of course she was the one who answered the phone and when explaining what had happened realised it was her I was speaking with on the phone. When asking if I could then talk with a manager she said she was the manger. Well if this is how a manager treats people that’s even more disgusting to know you’re a manager that behaves in this manner. On top of that she’s still bold and brave enough to have attitude on top of that. To me the only reason you you could behave in this poorly manner and treat us the way that she did was because the colour of our skin. Because we conducted ourselves in the way any other decent human being should. I will never in my life come to this restaurant again. And I don’t advise any other person of colour to do so either. Not if you like being treated in this way.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Prezzo Northampton, and I must say that the highlight of my experience was the outstanding service provided by Beatrice. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm and genuine smile, making me feel welcome and valued. Beatrice was incredibly attentive, ensuring that every detail of my dinning experience was perfect. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and was always there when needed, yet never intrusive. Her friendly and professional demeanor truly enhanced my meal. Beatrice’s dedication to providing top notch service made my visit memorable, and I will certainly be returning to Prezzo Northampton, thanks to her exceptional hospitality.

This evening I had very bad experience in this restaurant with the manager, Beatrice. I choose the restaurant to celebrate my birthday and she just damaged my little party when I requested the dessert. I requested a chocolate cake and she decided by herself to bring me an orange cheesecake. When I tried to explain her that this is not what I was asking her, she doesn’t let me even to speak, she was speaking over me and having very bad attitude. After 10 minutes she brings me the chocolate cake and saying “I bring you this just to don’t see your sad face anymore “, like I was in that restaurant to ask the food for free and I can’t afford to pay my food. I am just disgusted about this experience and I will never come back!

Amazing food and service ,friendly staff definitely recommend the pizza twists/lasagne and lotus cheesecake . There were so many options which is great for a family with many different pallets

Why is the attitude of the service staff in this shop so bad? Even racist? We called the waiter many times, but he did not respond to us, and he was very disrespectful to us because we are black men?

The food was lovely. Saskia (I hope I'm spelling that correctly) was wonderful. She was so nice and patient and did things without even asking. Went the extra mile and definitely made our dining experience brilliant. Thankyou so much saskia

we went there on tuesday 28th may in the evening, group of 8 , we enjoyed a lot,,, i had pizza mortadela which was very tasty and my wife had carbonara with extra bit sauce,,, will be back again. thank you so much prezzo team ... fabulous and fantastic restaurant. food arrived on time ....service was so good

May 2024, came in as two families. Mostly ordered pizza and I tried the new pizza range which was too small in my opinion and had to order extra chips so I cannot recommend. Service was a little slow but polite and at least two of our party of eight persons were unhappy that their food was not hot enough. £7 for a single pint of beer is excessive (I may expect that in London but not Northampton) and the food prices seems to have crept up with the new menu so a meal is very expensive and not good value for money. The restaurant layout is clunky and dark with a ramp in the middle (most likely for disabled access which is of course fine) but it is not highlighted/marked; all creating a poor atmosphere. I doubt either family will visit again.

The service was just quite slow. I didn't mind waiting for food but took ages for plates to be cleared. One person's food came so much later than everyone else's with no reason or apology. Food was very nice, service was not great.

Birthday meal for the wife and kids. Food was excellent, went early so wasn't busy.

Not been to Prezzo for many years and decided to give it it try as was seeing a show at nearby Royal & Derngate Theatre. Service was super friendly and professional and the food was amazing!! Had the Salmon salad starter which is was delicious, then we had the chicken, caramelised onions and rosemary pizza and chicken saltimbocca, the food was all that good we just had to have desert! The Biscoff cheesecake with banana comes highly recommended and the Cherry chocolate sundae! Can’t wait to come back again soon. PLUS had a 25% off food voucher, the staff actually ask you if you have any codes/vouchers before you pay, a great touch so you don’t forget or feel awkward about asking Service charge was added automatically but was pointed out and was advised this is optional, was more than happy to leave it on this time for the great experience we had

Food was tasteless no flavour cold plate cold pasta!! had to wait 55 minutes for watery carbonara very low quality of cooking. The rigatoni arabiata was terrible no taste and no understanding of the arabiata dish Service was extremely rude 1 waitress in particular that had a no level of respect with the customer her attitude came across rude and arrogant. For prezzo, staff and chefs like this are not acceptable….. Ruining the reputation of the restaurant with mistakes that are mostly made by the staff with their personal problems…..

service was bad, food took forever to arrive and once it did arrive, it was so bland and tasteless. chicken alfredo was horrible the sauce was more watery than water. for the price, the food is terrible. would not recommend. (i will say though the dessert was good)

Absolutely delicious Italian food with good portions and lots of different dishes to choose from. There is calorie information for each dish as well. You can see the pizza being baked in a stone oven right behind the bar :) The atmosphere is good for a family/group outing as there are tables with lots of seating available, but I would also go here for a date. I'm looking forward to eating here again, so I can try more delicious food.

I ate here today with my son. The food was served very quickly and was really nice. Service was very good and the restaurant clean. The person serving us actually told me that the service bill on the bill was optional and I did not have to pay it. This is the first time, in a long time that this has happened so as a result I paid the optional charge.

AWESOME SERVICE, AWESOME PIZZA. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the food was fantastic 😁 what more could you ask for 😁👍

We were very well looked after by the friendly team there, and warmly greeted. The food is delicious and the restaurant is spotlessly maintained. Our children were especially pleased with the menu choices. The quality and quantity of the food is good, and the service is well worth praise. This was our second visit in a week, and the Northampton Prezzo in particular is well run and enjoyable to visit.

Soggy pizzas, over an hour late and we ended up going to collect it after not being able to get through on the phone to find out where our order was. Useless!

Table booked in advance and meals pre-ordered for a pre theatre treat. Allowed ourselves 2.5 hours so we weren’t rushing but apparently even this wasn’t enough. Turns out due to a “IT glitch” our food orders were “lost’. They decided not to tell us this until we’d been waiting almost an hour though - not received our drinks by this time either!! Starters finally arrived an hour and half after arrival and we had to request desserts come out at the same time as mains otherwise we would be late to the theatre. Mains delivered in drubs and drabs so some people had to takeaway their dessert as no time to eat. Had to power walk to theatre and would still have been late if the show wasn’t delayed!! Staff not overly apologetic and had to battle to get a decent compensation. Food was probably very nice if we’d had the time to taste and savour it but had to eat it so quick we all got indigestion!!! Still not sure how it went so very wrong and how service was so slow.

It was quite but comfortable, service was very friendly, and food was delicious. Tried the new gorgonzola and procutio pizza today, it was nice but stopped a long way from the edge and the ham was fatty, but overall was a lovely meal.

I visited this establishment on a Tuesday with my friends. The location is perfect as it’s smack bang in the middle of the town centre, with pubs and shops located nearby and there’s also plenty of parking options a short walk away. We were greeted by a friendly lady, who I believe was the manager and she showed us to our table. We were given a few minutes to browse the menu before our drinks order was taken. Which was quite nice, as a lot of restaurants seat you and take your drinks order straightaway. We opted for the new cocktails which tasted delicious! Our starters came out very quickly and was all served piping hot. The mains shortly followed and tasted good and again was served hot – so no complaints from us. There was a nice gap in between our courses which I appreciate, as I hate it when I feel rushed and that they’re trying to get you out – we also had a checkback and if anyone reads my reviews that a massive thumbs up from me! The restaurant itself was clean and tidy as were the toilets and I love that they were induvial cubicles and there’s a big mirror as well, to make sure you look good before going back to your table. We didn’t leave a tip as there’s an optional service charge included on the bill, which we decided to keep on. Overall, I’d highly suggest visiting, although it’s on the pricier side, the food is decent, and the service is friendly and attentive.

I went on 18/10/23 with my pregnant daughter and friends the staff and service was excellent we will be going back for some more wonder food I would be recommending this place the staff are so friendly and helpful very nice experience 😊

Food was nice, restaurant was modern and spacious. Staff were friendly. The overall price however was more expensive than I thought. Between the 4 of us we only had 2 starters, 4 mains, 2 desserts and only 2 alcoholic drinks, 5 non alcoholic and it was £130-140 which I think is a bit steep for an Italian chain.

Made a visit today as this is my partners favourite places to eat. Today it wasn't though! Service was very slow even though they had only 5 tables in the whole restaurant. The food was of a good standard but for the prices I expected better being a chef myself. We waited almost half hour to be served and then another 15 mins to get our drinks. It was very clear from the start that the kitchen was massively under staffed. And although some of the food wasn't as stated in menu the chef was doing her best in a bad situation. Was clear to see the servers and kitchen staff are very under staffed and are stressed. When we got our bill the server had acknowledged the slow service and knocked off over 30 pound of the total bill without us actually complaining. After talking to the server/manager was clear just how short staffed they are, especially in the kitchen. Before we left I took time to speak with the chef who was a lovely lady and was working her socks off. She didn't even have a pot washer bless her! I slipped her a tip and thanked her for her efforts. PREZZO NEED TO GIVE THE CHEF A PAY RISE AND HIRE MORE STAFF!!

Great place to eat - Food is great, service is reasonable and so is the atmosphere - can't put my finger on it but it needs something. Just to improve the atmosphere - maybe a piano player or a host. Overall I recommend Prezzo in northampton.

I have been there a few times but last time I was there I got food poisoning. It was from prawn gnocchi.

We were stopping in Northampton for the weekend and had booked Prezzo prior to arriving. We were met at the door by Saskia who was very welcoming and friendly The food and drink was served perfectly and was tasty and hot The restaurant was lovely and modern and well set out Overall our meal was very good and Saskia helped to make our dining experience perfect. the carbonarra was amazing hands down one of the best ive had

very incompetent and dangerous people in the kitchen. Had spaghetti king prawn, I am very used to spicy food but this was deliberately an assault with a huge amount of pepper seeds left in the middle of the spaghetti on Friday night 30th of June. Some people should not be allowed in a kitchen.

Are you for real? Paid £19.00 for a 10" glutenfree pizza, with extra olives and peppers and got 4 olives and 3 slices of peppers. Total rip off. Never again

Northampton prezzo wood Hill.food was nice and quite efficient getting it but the service was terrible. We asked for our drinks and a jug of tap water as it was a hot night but never got it. We never got asked once if our food was OK and on paying the bill they had already added on a service charge (not sure what for as had no service) and then she was so rude saying we'll I'll take it off then (I didn't realise you put a service charge on in england) but felt so uncomfortable that I paid it and left. 3 staff saw us leave and never said thank you once very poor won't go again

Excellent everything about this place! Highly recommended. Ms. Justyna took a very good care of us in this restaurant. Very polite, very helpful and very caring. Infact all staff members here were fabulous . Cleanliness in washrooms was extraordinary.

Went for a meal 4th June 2023, service was 5*, food was 5* lovely atmosphere, would highly recommend. I had crab & lobster ravioli … delicious!! And truffle fries are to die for. Staff are so friendly and welcoming.

We were a table of nine seated close to the entrance, door which does not close fully, so we're left in a constant icy draught. Once another large table became free I asked to be moved, not sure if this branch as a store manager, if they do perhaps they could organise for the door to be adjusted.

Impressed by the quality of food and the service. All the staff were so nice and welcoming. Never felt rushed or pressured to order more drinks. Just the right balance of waiting time between starters and main course. A very present experience overall. Well-done you lot 👏

A table of 11 people had a meal last Saturday. We were served by Saskia who dealt with some very complex dietary requirements. She took their orders first and made sure that there was nothing in the ingredients that would be harmful to them. This is the first time that a waitress has taken such care. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

A nice girly catch up today. We had the lunch menu for 2, 2 small plates and 1 big plate to share. £22 Absolutely gorgeous. And of course a cocktail each.

I visited prezzo for the first time in Northampton. I was highly impressed with the service from Saskia. Polite, courteous, professional and very helpful. The food on offer was of a high standard. Fresh and full of taste. I ordered a pizza and bottle of beer. I would recommend the restaurant highly especially the service from Saskia

I have coeliac disease so I am gluten free. I was given a garlic bread that was the normal gluten version Instead of the gluten free one I ordered.

When my girlfriend and I first entered the establishment we were greeted with a warm smile by a short woman with dark hair, however, our evening began to sour because our waiter, who's name was Dolphin or Delphine. he had a terrible attitude and even messed up our order TWICE!! The atmosphere of our date was totally ruined and the food didn't taste good enough to make up for the lack of professionalism and common courtesy. We definitely will NOT be coming back!!!!! If I could give zero stars, I WOULD!!!!!!!!

We haven’t been to a PREZZO for quite a while. ( Pre Covid) . On our arrival the restaurant was busy and we thought that was a good sign. Sadly that wasn’t to be. The quality of the food was not as it used to be. My spaghetti bolognaise lacked any flavour and I’m sure it had been frozen as there was coloured water in my bowl from defrosting. I used a napkin to soak it up. The ingredients were not of the quality that I remember. I was asked when ordering did I want cheese ? I assumed this would be Parmesan . Never assume - it tasted of a bland cheddar. My husband ordered the Calzone which he said was just okay. The filling was much less than he remembered with more sauce than ingredients and the outside was covered in oil. Though the salad was plentiful and fresh. We waited 40 minutes for our one course. But our drinks arrived quite promptly . I ordered a glass of Rose wine which was room temperature rather than chilled. When asked by the waitress was everything okay? I replied its okay but she had already started to walk away. She did wait long enough when presenting the bill advising that a service charge is automatically added but didn’t advise how to remove. Sadly everything about the experience was mediocre. It will be a long time before we eat there or another PREZZO again.

Waited on the food for 2 hours. Delivery was an hour later than stated and when told that i was disabled and could not walk properly, the delivery driver sent out to me, called me ridiculous. I called Prezzos for a delivery update. 15 unanswered calls within the space of an hour on a Wednesday evening and did not get to speak to anyone. The food tasted ok i guess but it was cold so i couldn't really tell, and wasn't worth all the hassle if im being brutally honest. I used to love prezzos. Very disappointed.

Decent quality pizza. The base Tomato sauce can be a bit watery sometimes though. Staff were lovely. A service charge is added to the bill by default, however, it can be removed. It can be a bit awkward asking them to remove it though. Done intentionally that way, let’s be honest…

I’m quite disappointed that my order arrived luke-warm/cold, considering that I don’t live very far, will order the tagliatelle again but not the mozzarella squares or the fries, perhaps rethink the packaging - doesn’t keep the food warm

Food good nice friendly staff but oh the service is so slow.....if you have little ones with you after a Panto you don't want 2 hours plus for a simple 2 course meal.

The cold drinks where warm and the service was slow. I went to the toilet and left my meal on the table, when I came back it was gone. The waitresses hadn't even asked. The spaghetti had no cheese and was plain. The service also took around 45 mins for a dessert.

I came in with my 10 work colleagues for our Christmas lunch. We ordered our mains and after an hour of taking the order I was told that there was no Sea Bass on the menu. The waitress so rude and dismissive. Half of us were eating whilst the other half waited. I had to settle for a chicken meal that I didn’t want. Then one of the burgers ordered was wrong. We all finished our meal and my colleague still waiting for her burger. We will not be coming back here.

First time I’ve ordered from here and was disappointed to start with….. Garlic bread with mozzarella £7, shockingly small portion to be charged £7 and to be honest, 35p baguette garlic bread has more taste to it, needs more cheese and more garlic, I definitely won’t be ordering this again, I also ordered the Chicken Alfredo Tagliatelle £15.50, well this is devine ! Tasted amazing and would’ve been perfect with the right flavoursome bread ! So the tagliatelle will be bringing me back to order again 🥳

Not sure what the policy is for this place but not being able to book online and arriving to an empty restaurant to be turned away as they are ‘fully booked’ for the second time is a little frustrating. Won’t be retuning

I ordered a prezzo and it took an hour to come which I wouldn’t mind if the food was good and what I received is disgusting, Firstly the portions of the chips were ridiculous and by adding both portions together I made a proper portion the chips were cold and soggy so they were ruined, next the chicken burger when I opened the box for it I was very disappointed as it didn’t come with any sauce and the chicken only had half a slice of cheese on each piece of chicken which is absolutely ridiculous and the chicken was bone dry and inedible, the beef burger was the same and only had half a slice of cheese on each burger and also came with no sauce the beef burgers itself were very dry and tasted overcooked and chewy which is really disappointing and the burgers had lettuce in the was like gone off it was slimey, I have ordered from prezzo many times and I have never had this before I don’t know if they are trying to cut corners or something but this food is appalling and I will not be ordering from them again , when I’m paying £15.95 for a burger and chips I would expect it to be of good quality and a reasonable portion they portions they have given me are like kids ones when I have paid for adult meals not kids
