An anniversary meal and chose what WAS a great restaurant The text sent the dat before stating that had to reply with name number and time of booking made over a week ago as it would not be confirmed till this detail was given. Welcome was not what had previously experienced there and not given a great table. Had to ask one of the four waitresses if we could order a drink 10 minutes after being sat down - wouldn’t have minded but there were only 3 other tables occupied. Ordered starter without ‘peppers’ I had to explain to the waitress what peppers were as in “bell peppers, the green, red, yellow, orange ones- bit worrying really was not asked if we had any allergies which was surprising as this is a repeated question you’re asked nowadays. After and hour of arriving for our reservation, ordering and finishing our starter the main came. My wife ordered smoked salmon and pasta, what arrived was cooked salmon in the pasta not smoked a totally different taste and flavour. I asked to check the menu and smoked was stated, we explained this to who appeared to be the head waitress, who could not comprehend the difference in cooked or smoked, no apology or explanation was given and we were only asked to reselect, lasagna was asked for. I had ordered and had a lovely veal Milanese, with salad, which I finished, my wife asked that hers now be cancelled as would not want to eat on her own as I was finished, minutes later a lasagne arrived this was duly returned and the bill asked for. Very unprofessional No apology Poor service A total and unfortunate change and a restaurant I will not voluntarily go to again Times are a changing and this is a shamefully wrong direction

Been coming to this restaurant for years and this was my worst experience to date. Lasagne was like soup and you have to pay extra for any sides. £9 for a vodka and coke and they stick on a service charge of £15 for 5 of us. Won’t be returning.

We hadn’t visited here for a while (probably 2 years due to the pandemic) so decided to visit for a birthday celebration. Booking was so easy with the use of text messaging - such a great idea! Pleased to report that many old favourites are still on the menu but also new selections too. We feel that prices are very reasonable for a restaurant of this style. We prefer to support local rather than eating at chains and it always feels like you are dining with friends! Service was excellent as was the delicious food. We wont be leaving it so long for our next visit!

Decided to have a Saturday evening meal out and having been here approx 5 times before that were very good we were pleased to find they could accommodate us. Left feeling quite unhappy. Quite a wait between our starter and main. Waitress cleared starter's away and brought fresh cutlery for mains. Another waitress then asked if we wanted desert! "No- we would like the main course please". Watched several tables being served and we're happy when we saw plates coming our way. Not our order and they were returned to kitchen. Eventually our food arrived. I was lucky, my food was good but hubbies veal must have been cooked and forgotten (? hence our wait) as it was quite charred underneath. Decided not to have desert and asked for bill. We always check these and was surprised to see a £6 drink on the bill we certainly had not had. Possibly won't be returning - sorry.

GianBiaz has been serving authentic Italian dishes using family recipes and food sourced from Italy for over 3 decades. Although not aiming to be ‘on trend’, what you do get here is honest, delicious cooking served with friendliness in a very pleasant ambience. I had the best ragu I have tasted outside of Italy: we shared a portion of linguine alla bolognase as a starter. We followed this with chicken cacciatore for him, sea bass for me. One brother cooks: everything is fresh and from scratch so inevitably it is a smaller menu than chain restaurants that bring in frozen or pre-prepared food. One brother is front of house, and you could not get a friendly welcome or anyone more attentive. Highly recommended.

Tasty flavoursome food, perfect service, really friendly, didn’t know the place was here but want to come back already! We both fancied lasagna so a random google find, the portion was huge, fresh sprig of basil on top, the pasta was really light and not stodgy at all, added a couple of sides and shared an antipasti for starters which had that authentic Italian flavour, drizzled with the right amount of oil, lovely presentation

This must be the best restaurant in Northampton. We decided to have a meal before the next lockdown. We were made to feel both welcome and safe. The food was perfect and the wines excellent. We all agreed that this was the best meal of 2020.

We came here on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy but spaced out adequately. We had bread and olives to start. Both mains were lovely and the cheesecake was sublime. The staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely come again.

I have been a customer of GianBiaz for a number of years and it remains one of my favourite restaurants. This is a genuine family run business and as a customer you are made to feel very welcome . This is my first visit since the new CV-19 guidance and I have to say that We felt very safe. The tables are well spaced, there is access to hand sanitiser and the staff are wearing visors whilst they serve you at the table . As always the portions are really generous and I shared a Plate of mixed Bruschetta with my wife. Bruschetta is a firm favourite of mine and this is always good here. For my second course I had the Rigatoni Americano , again a really generous portion and nice & spicy. My wife has gone Veggie and she had the Linguini a la Genoese without the Chicken . My mains were superb. We shared a bottle of wine , a Merlot from Piedmonte , not one I have seen before, but it was excellent. I am not a deserts guy, but my wife had the Tiramisu which she said was excellent. I had a Espresso with a shot of Vecchia Romagna brandy , a lovely end to our meal. Service was spot on , attentive without being pushy and we felt relaxed . See you again soon GianBiaz

Has booked for a table for 5 people over the phone, some of the party were slightly late and we were aware there were going to be a few sittings so couldn't spend the whole evening there. Ordered a starter platter (which we thought was done by how many people there were at the table but it was actually for 2/3 people) and also some breads etc. We had 2 bottles of Prosecco and by the time we had finished the food it was nearly the end of our time slot so asked for the bill. The bill came and it was £104. When questioned why it was this much, we were pointed to small print at the bottom of the menu of a minimum Mains charge of £10 per person. No one mentioned this when booking, or when sitting down, or when ordering! Our food and drink we did have wasn't taken into account so this was added to the £50 charge as it wasn't a 'main'. I spoke to the manager about this and he said well you have to pay it. Refused to take into account this should be said when booking a table, he said well it's online and on the bill. I have looked online and it isn't there. If it is it is hard to find! This left us all feeling ripped off and we won't ever be returning. Daylight robbery and questionable whether that is even legal....

Booked a table for 3 online for my birthday. Booking was easy & response was quick & polite. The menu was limited because of the COVID-19 restrictions but still plenty to choose from. Starters & main course were perfect & such good helpings that none of us could manage a sweet! Staff were efficient, polite, friendly and helpful. All in all a great birthday treat. Thank you to all at Gian Biaz!

We dined with friends on Saturday evening and decided to book Gian Biaz takeaway service for a change ,having heard of favourable comments from other friends. From the seamless ordering on the Gian Biaz App to pickup we were not disappointed, so easy to use and make payment. On collecting we were impressed with the staff and their Covid protection in place, we had antipasto of meats garlic breads and also a vegetarian antipasto followed by our favourite lasagne. There were complimentary trimmings included all supplied in recyclable packaging. It was particularly pleasing no polystyrene packaging in sight ! Finally we thoroughly enjoyed our first GianBiaz takeaway dining service and would use this service again and recommend to all.

It is great to return to this amazing Italian restaurant. Despite masks, visors and distance the welcome is as friendly as ever. The food was amazing! Every single dish was perfect so it is hard to single any out but my steak was perfectly cooked and good quality and my wife said the Limoncello cheesecake was excellent.

We’ve had our first meal outside of our house for 16 weeks and GianBiaz did not disappoint! I was really nervous about going out for dinner, however I thought I needed to try it for myself before the anxiety built up!! We were welcomed by the staff who wore visors and gloves and shown to our table. Whilst we were there, we saw cleaning after people had left, and were very impressed with the cleanliness and social distancing measures in place. There is a one way system in place to use the toilets too (which was a big worry for me!!) The food was absolutely phenomenal. Even with a slightly reduced menu there was plenty for us to choose from. We went for Garlic bread, Rigatoni Americano and Polla Cacciatore, with the famous lemon cheesecake for dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite and can’t wait to dine again or collect a takeaway.

I've just realised I've posted reviews for places all over the country but I've never done one for the restaurant I visit the most which is quite close to where I live.We usually book a table at GianBiaz for four of us on a Saturday evening. We've done that every few weeks for some years now. That in itself must be some commendation for the place. The service and the quality of the food is excellent. They are very friendly and always make us feel welcome. We always enjoy a bottle of wine ( or two ) with our meal and as we live within walking distance we don't have to worry about parking or the drive home.

Very attentive service . Food was deliciouso. Son enjoyed the gnocchi. Great selection of vegetarian food .

We met up with friends on Saturday evening and our choice of restaurant in Northampton ticked all the boxes, really tasty and Authentic Italian food and superb atmosphere in what was a busy bustling restaurant. We particularly enjoyed our fish and meat antipasti platters and my main course of Rigatoni Bolognese was exceptional. We were greeted on our arrival and our waitress was exceptionally attentive.

Amidst the fascias of international restaurants along Northampton's Wellingborough Road is a really great Italian resto. GianBiaz was buzzing when we went for dinner on Friday evening.The welcoming atmosphere, smiles on the faces of the staff , then cocktails followed by a real Italian meal with a fine red wine made for a lovely evening with friends. The service was good, too. No wonder it was busy!

The food was very tasty, proper Italian food. However my cannelloni had very few bits of blue cheese, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, the waiting times were horrendous, it took more than an hour and a half for us to get our mains. It was so bad that I literally stood up to pay at the door as no one would bring us the machine so that we could pay. Also, we weren't asked not even once if everything was okay. We had to go to a tremendous effort to get attention when we needed something. It's a shame as the food is really wonderful. We were told it was the end of the month so people went out to eat but in reality there are several reviews addressing the waiting times.

We had a lovely meal on a Saturday lunchtime. Friendly welcome, even though we were the only customers to begin with. Good choice of food; lovely pasta dishes. Would recommend and will definitely visit again!

I was taken here for my Birthday and we were looked after very well. It is an authentic Italian restaurant with an extensive menu, we were ushered in and shown to our table and asked if we wanted drinks.Food was freshly prepared and I loved how my steak was presented. Food came quickly and the service is very good.I would come here agsin

Have wanted to have a meal here for many years but never got round to it as there’s always places with better parking or that are “easier” to get to. Husband took me for my Birthday in May and we had an amazing meal! So good that we went again last week and had an even better one! Arrived earlier than booked and were seated immediately without question, the owner is absolutely lovely and seemed really keen to make sure we had a great meal. I had the 10oz Rump Tagliata and I didn’t want it to end, it was absolutely delicious! Chocolate torte is also pretty damn good! Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Northampton!

Dropped in for an authentic Italian dish after work. Just wanted something nourishing and GianBiaz didn't disappoint. Fairly quiet early evening but service prompt and efficient. Pappardelle salmone (pasta ribbons with salmon and spinach) accompanied by side vegetable dish of Verdura della Casa (courgette, aubergines and peppers) just what I needed. Well cooked and nicely presented with a dash of paprika. Would have been nice to have had a glass of wine from the extensive drinks menu but was driving so had water instead! Food is wholesome, great value for money and highly recommended. Will be going there again for a meal next week.

Nice food, looks reasonably priced even though work paid. Food was hot and was all delivered for 15 people at the same time even though we had different menu choices. Waitresses were very polite and I would use again. I had lasagna which was really tasty.

Had our company Xmas meal here, beats previous years hands down. will definitely be going back next year, Biaz oversees the service to perfection. We couldn't fault the food, service or ambiance

Our Company has been enjoying a pre Christmas meal for 16 years now and this was without doubt the best so far!

The food was really nice, not the biggest portions but that suited us. The service was impeccable (it was mid week so was quiet). The only criticism is the drink are expensive. We will come back.

Visited for the first time for a while and delighted to find the old favourites combined with some new style dishes. A quiet Saturday lunchtime, albeit not lacking in atmosphere, the group enjoyed seafood linguine, ravioli cremonese and pollo parmigiano; all were very good. Tempted by the lemon meringue roulade & cheese cake and also enjoyed an excellent Montepulciano wine.

Arancini - bland and small portion - Bruschetta wasn’t ciabatta & covered in melted cheese - veal dish was excellent but Mediterranean veg dish was bland - service was impeccable - wine list was small and although excellent - a tad expensive -meal for 2 was £85 which felt expensive.

My partner and I wanted a great Italian. After asking a few of my friends, GinaBiaz was the name on most of their lips.

I hadn’t been to GianBiaz for a long time, so when a friend mentioned it as an option for our next night out, we all agreed.

The top Italian restaurant by far in Northampton. Everything is freshly made. I choose the 3 dishes in one. Great when you would like to try three different classic mains and you cannot make your mind up. Leave enough space for desert. Tiramisu my favorite, though the selection of gelato is also a great way to finish off a meal.

Planned to go for a meal peak time on a Friday night, we hadn't booked so thought it was a long shot, but we walked in & tried anyway.

Charged £9.99 for a gin and tonic. Apparently owner charges what he wants to! Became rather smarmy when the bill was queried.

The food is absolutely delicious and they always cater to what you want. Atmosphere is small and cosy and the winds are very suited to the food. One of my favourite restaurants.

Joined relatives for dinner at this Italian restaurant. Started with antipasto. 3 of us had the pan fried lemon sole with an orange and caper berry sauce. Served with in house made sautéed potatoes. One had steak. All enjoyed the food. Even though the lemon sole was done differently to how I thought it would be, it was excellent.

I've just paid my first visit to GianBiaz for lunch and was not disappointed. All courses were well presented and the flavours were well blended. It's the best fresh pasta I've ever tasted and will be returning to try more dishes on the menu.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Gianbiaz on a quiet Monday evening. The owner was lovely and welcoming and was more than happy to adapt the menu to suit a vegan diet for one of us. Some highlights were vegan bruschetta and the Ravioli Al Forno, which was one of the best Italian dishes I’ve ever had. I’m looking forward to returning to GianBiaz to try more dishes in the near future. This is a restaurant I’d be more than happy to recommend to family and friends.

First time at GianBiaz. Recommended by friends and I am really glad I finally took my family there for an evening out. We really enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We had three course meal; food was very well presented , fresh and was really delicious. Antipasto, garlic bread with cheese, olives etc. for starter. Then we had fillet steak, lemon sole with orange and caper berry sauce, my kid had carbonara for our main course and he absolutely enjoyed it. For dessert; I personally recommended Affogato if you are a coffee lover like me. An absolutely lovely little place to go for a meal. It's definitely worth going and experience good Italian food. We will definitely visit again.

My first visit here for many a year, and I wasn’t disappointed! It was a busy night, making it a vibrant atmosphere for our special occasion, and the visit was enhanced by pleasant and helpful staff.

We took sister and brother-in-law out to share the wife's birthday celebrations. We wanted somewhere local, with a good reputation. We had not visited GianBiaz for many years, and decided that this would be a good choice. And it was. It's very much a family business still, and we were looked after as though we were "family friends". We asked for help in choosing starters, which was a good move. We chose a Sicilian red wine, which was also a good choice. Our main courses were served hot and without undue waiting, and were ample servings. The homemade Tiramisu was recommended - and justly so. The Patron was attentive at all times, This is an excellent and unpretentious restaurant - of which there are few to be so recommended in Northampton

The food is simply the best, I visited in the run up to Christmas so it was very busy and the service was a little slow but it wasn't a problem as I was out with friends and we happily chatted away whilst waiting.

I haven't been to Gianbiaz for years because I didn't particularly like it then. However returning last night dec 8th I found it totally charming the food is excellent and priced as it should be for a Italian restaurant in Northampton. If I had one criticism it would be the Fillet steak was without trimmings Only 1/2 tomato & fat chips. Great taste but should have at least one other vegetable accompaniment like mushrooms or salad. Soup great Bruschetta very light & lovely.

Not been for a few years, it was always our go to place for birthdays but fell out of the habit so went for our latest date night and wow, still amazing. Food, wine, service and atmosphere as it always has been. If you love good food then this is a must.

We found this restaurant almost by accident, one Saturday lunchtime; had some excellent pasta (the Rigatoni Bolognese), with my children. So, we went back another lunchtime, for more of the same with garlic bread - an excellent value lunch special.On this occasion we took some family visitors, for an evening meal and again were not disappointed. All of the meals were of a really good standard, shoulder of lamb, sea bass, gnocchi and of course the Rigatoni Bolognese...I could not make my mind up which pasta to eat and they even have a dish that contains three types of pasta just for this eventually. Perfect.The restaurant is tastefully decorated (definitely Italian) and upstairs there is a nice, private bar area, which would make an excellent pre-dinner drinks meeting area, if you were arranging a dinner for a large group.Will definitely be back.

My family booked my husband and I a romantic meal for two , we enjoy Italian food unfortunalty the only thing Italian is the name , staff and chef are Eastern European , quality of my pasta dish very poor , bland and presentation basic.. menu very boring and felt restaurant was dirty

For several years this was our favourite restaurant in Northampton but this was our first visit for some years.It is a small welcoming place with a great atmosphere.There were 4 of us in our party and we were quickly made to feel welcome.Drinks were quickly served and the menus presented.As one would expect the cuisine is Italian and to a high standard.The selection of starters and main courses is excellent which only made choosing more difficult.In the end I chose Insalata Gamberoni to start and Involtini as my main course. All washed down with a bottle of Cabernet Franc DOS Superiore.Perfect!

Amazing food and service with great portions. Not the cheapest but the quality is truly outstanding and worth it. Fillet steak is the best in Northamptonshire and probably further.

My partner and I booked here off the back of a recommendation for a special date night around a year ago now. We loved the food and the customer service and it has now become our 'special date' location. We went here again last night for Valentines Day and the service was amazing as always. I'm 8 months pregnant and the staff made me Mocktails. My partner wanted something that was no longer on the Menu and the staff went above and beyond to ensure he had the dish he wanted and the staff work so hard to make sure you always feel welcome and have everything you want. Once i dropped my phone on the floor and the staff found my number through my reservation, called me to inform me and kept it safe until I collected it. Easily our favourite restaurant.

Organised a family meal for a birthday celebration. If one is looking for great food, a cosy atmosphere and great hospitality then this is a place not to be missed. Very enjoyable night had by all.

For my money, the best restaurant in Northampton. My wife and I visited for my birthday and had an excellent meal. We had the Antipasto Carne and a selection of breads to start. The Pesto Aglia was especially superb. For our main courses, we both had the Assaggi Di Pasta, containing a mix of Lasagne, Cannelloni, and Rigatoni. We both agreed the Rigatoni was particularly good. We shared a Tiramisu for dessert, which was beautifully light and creamy. All in all, an excellent meal and good value for money, coming in at £30 a head, including a drink each. The service at Gianbiaz is also very good - attentive without being obtrusive. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

I am Usually wondering the welly road after a few beers so I have never seen this place before. Thankfully we received xmas gift vouchers to visit here. We went for lunch which is the same menu as the evening . It is a very nice, small Italian restaurant and the food was as perfect as the service. (Recommend the lasagne)Will Deffo be visiting again , perhaps in the evening to try the bar out upstairs.

Parking is a slight issue as the restaurant is on a busy road in Northampton, however the staff are absolutely wonderful and the food is to die for! The best tiramisu in town! I recommend everyone to give GianBiaz a try!

Visited GianBiaz for the umpteenth time last night and, as always, was very impressed with the food ,service and atmosphere.If you want to visit an Italian restaurant in the Northampton area this is the best.

We booked GianBiaz Lounge for our son's 30th and our niece's 21st.The Lounge seats 16 and there were 16 of us.Everything about the evening was lovely.The food was fabulous and any of our party who had not been there before,all said they would definitely go back there again.We were very well looked after.Thanks for such an amazing evening.

Visited here for the second time yesterday and absolutely loved it. The service was perfect! Asked for something off menu and it was no hassle for them. Food was so tasty. Have no reservations about going back here!

This was for a birthday celebration and we had a very good bruschetta and anti pasta and fabulous pasta and a wonderful lamb dish. Very attentive service.

We go to gianbiaz probably twice a month as a bit expensive but you deffinatly get what you pay for.the food is always amazing. The staff are friendly.plus the guys that own it are fab. This is my favourite restaurant and has been for a long time.i would highly recommend going there for a top class meal love it x

Well, my brother in law decided to treat some of the family (from kids,teens and adults x 12). This family run Italian restaurant had no issues handling a large group, in fact the staff were very accommodating and helpful to say the least. The pasta dishes, gnocchi, sea-bass, cannelloni, Rigatoni Mediterranean and something with Salmon in it went down a treat. Peeps, if you happen to be driving through Northamptonshire and fancy a proper Italian then look no further, you won't be disappointed (just make sure you make a reservation)! ❤️

Booked last minute yesterday 18th October ,via online booking tool. Even took my tastecard.Staff friendly and welcoming, food extremely good, catered for all dietary requirements. Reasonably priced, service good.Parking on street OK although could be an issue on a busier night - however parked right outside door.Only criticism..... and this is only minor, management just need to turn down a notch the background music, that's the only thing I can fault with the restaurant. Otherwise will be popping in again soon.

As it was Saturday date night myself & my partner opted to go Italian. Having been to 1 of the towns other highly regarded Itailian eateries & been left a touch let down we opted to come to another with a glowing reputation.The 1st thing that strikes is the atomsphere. This feels close but in an intimate way,ideal for date night. The was a relatively loud buzz from the other diners but this was in no way distracting. We were seated quickley & a drinks order swiftly placed. The wine was very good if a touch over priced & this was the 1st place I have been charged for table water. This irked somewhat but nevermind.We both had starters, I had a mixture of breads & marinated veg which whilst very nice was not exactly what I had expected. Not that I have anyone to blame for that but myself. My partner had the salmon parcells which were excellent. Both dishes were beautifully presented & delivered in good time.For the mains my partner had the Gnocchi which whilst very good became boring halfway through. I had the steak which was excellent though describing it as served with handcut chips is a stretch- I got 6 which for the price is poor. That said the quality can not be faulted.The night was very good, the standard of the food excellent even with the reservations listed above. Getting the bill proved difficult,which is odd still it's nice that we were shuffled out as soon as we had finished.We would both go again, though food choices would be different

We felt a little bit squeezed in at 9pm on a Saturday but the restaurant soon became less crowded. The service was very attentive and the food was delicious. We've been a few times before but not for a while so it's good to know the place is still as good as I remember it before. I 'only' had lasagne as a main on this occasion but I can say it was the best one I've ever had!

Wonderful Italian restaurant, the food was to die for, I chose Carozza Funghi for starter, Rigotonni Mediteraneo for main with Limoncello Cheesecake for dessert. All 3 courses were cooked to perfection and the service was very attentive. The cost was a little under £23.00 for all three dishes and well worth it, the portions were very generous. The restaurant is very quaint with subdued lighting and suitable for couples and groups alike. This little gem of a restaurant is well worth a visit.

This family restaurant is owned by landlord and no comments are bias at all and none come from any of them but myself.First of all the atmosphere in general is just really nice. The host greets you in a respectable manor and seats you at your table, the waitress gives you enough time to look at the drinks menu and makes you feel very welcome. My favourite is the Cabernet red wine! There is quite a bit of choice on the menu with reasonable prices. Most of is it pasta as it is an Italian and my gosh, it is the nicest food you will ever taste. There is a variety of pasta dishes as well which is good so it caters for a lot of people. I always go for the fillet steak (I am a massive fillet steak lover) because although the pasta dishes are so yummy.. It is the best fillet steak I have ever tasted in the 21 years of me living. It literally melts in your mouth! And it is a 10oz and good price for this considering most restaurants are roughly 7oz for the same price or more. I like to have my fillet steak medium rare and they cook it perfect every time.The sides are amazing too and starters and what is nice about this restaurant is you don't feel rushed like they are trying to get you out, although it is good to book on a weekend as although there is seating down and upstairs.. It isn't massive so can get busy as it is popular. However you also don't feel like you're being ignored or left out so the service is amazing.The decoration is nice and you just feel like you're at home. Although you're being waitered on, surrounded by others and it might be a bit noisier at home, you just feel comfortable and relaxed.I would definitely recommend this place if you're in Northampton or around for the pastas and steak, and I eat out very often and try a lot of different places and dishes.It is more for adults, they do have a children's menu however this offers only a few dishes and the portions are huge (good for us hungry adults who have worked all day) and although my siblings do the love the pasta there I would personally recommend it to do adults whey here it's a family do or you're out with your friends or even partner. Perfect!

Great restaurant with excellent food. The restaurant is in a great location run by a local family, the menu is the right size and the service is brilliant

Good varied menu choice but not too long ( unlike many Italian restaurants!). Family run and it shows in the friendly but efficient service and quality food. A nice cosy ambience as the place is fairly small. Prices are fair except for the wines which are a bit on the high side. Well worth a visit though.

Visited last Friday evening for an evening meal. We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the staff know what they are doing, which these days is very refreshing. From start to finish both my wife and I enjoyed every aspect of the meal. It would of been hard to find fault.

Such a lovely little Gem! Food is so tasty and having been to Italy i would say the food is of the same quality and taste! Staff are polite and so many dishes to choose from! The sharing platters are perfect and lots of choice.

Wonderful family run restaurant will and fine dining spark. Staff are most helpful and welcoming. Owner was gracious and inviting. Fairly regular visitor with friends, family and work colleagues therefore suitable for all dinner occasions. Food was tasty and fresh, you will leave there fulfilled. Fine dining with good portion sizes. Desserts are another to remember.

I love this place. Full of charm and atmosphere with great food and wine. Staff are superb. Go there when I'm in Northampton and never disappointed

This used to be a very small restaurant nearer Northampton's town centre, but it';s now at bigger premises in Wellingborough Road. It's a friendly place with a wide menu. We tackled the usual pastas and other dishes and the food is fine without being exceptional. It's one of those restaurants where you won't go far wrong, but it did not strike me as particularly exceptional. You do get a very friendly welcome and it is fair value for money. Just missing that little something special, for me.

Had a lovely meal here - we were the first ones in the Restaurant at 6.30 on a Saturday, however it quickly filled up.The service was spot on and the food excellentWe managed to get parking right outside the restaurant and there were also spaces nearby when we left

It's been a while since I've been to this place, not because of any issue but more because we'd got out of the habit. But I have to say the food and service was excellent. And it's incredibly good value as well - it wasn't a key driver when we visted, but I couldn't believe how little we paid for what was a beautifully prepared meal, served in a relaxed atmosphere by people who were attentive but not overbearing. I'd highly recommend a visit.

This was our second evening meal there. From the minute we walked through the door the staff made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed some pre-dinner drinks upstairs in the bar where our order was taken and then went down to our table when the food was ready. Biaz made helpful suggestions on the food and wine and it was all excellent and lived up to the descriptions. He is a great host and goes out of his way to make people feel welcome. We shall certainly return.

My girlfriend and I went here on a Friday night, the food didn't feel authentic - the antipasti starter was average and over priced, it felt like a platter bought from a supermarket. The mains was ok, I had a chicken dish and it was fairly dry, my partner had a pasta dish which just had no flavour. The wine said DOC on the menu but then didn't have the DOC seal anywhere. To be honest this wasn't much better than a bella pasta and was probably double the cost

The food was very good here. It is an Italian restaurant but I had a filet steak which was delicious. The only thing that let the meal down was the service was a bit slow.
