Delicious ice cream with plenty of flavours. Good value for money as you get one topping, sauce, whipped cream and a wafer included in the price. You can also take tubs away for your freezer at home. Love going to visit!

The ice cream is just delicious! Lovely staff and lovely range of ice cream. The parlour needs a bit of care and TLC as it’s looking a bit rundown but don’t let that put you off having the ice cream!!

The ice cream is really nice and you can create your flavour, with the different toppings they have. Which makes it unique. However,the place is small and mostly packed. We usually have to wait some minutes,most time we go there before getting seats. I guess it shows their ice cream is pretty good. They have nice shakes too. Overall,the ice cream is bliss! Worth every penny.

Only popped in to buy Bubble Gum ice-cream sauce. The parlour was clean and bright. The staff were very patient with a difficult customer in front of me and could not be faulted for their service. The icecream on sale looked amazing

Very unhappy brought feast ice cream for my daughter from the ice cream van down Harlestone firs which she ate to find out afterwards it was 4 months past best before date, the young girl was very helpful and gave me the managers phone number and after speaking to him and him saying he’d call back have had no call back from him over 2 weeks ago. Very poor customer service

Fantastic array of icecream flavours, the ones I tasted were lovely. Service was really friendly, we enjoyed getting to know more about the icecream flavours and the family who run it.

Ice cream here is terrible. If you've ever made ice cream at home or know what actual ice cream is supposed to taste like, you'll be disappointed. We sent the maltesers ice cream back, flavour was fruity, texture was a bit mousse-y. The woman behind the counter didn't seem phased and tucked into the ice cream as if she didn't believe us. She too verified it wasn't great and replaced it, without apology. We asked for vanilla after that as a replacement. Still just artificial tasting ice cream. No better than the £1 tubs of frozen white matter in the supermarket. It was all just a bit lacklustre.

I grew up eating Gallone's ice cream as a child I would wait in eager anticipation for their ice cream van to appear in my street and I would have one of their cornets. The ice cream parlour is an added bonus with a great range of flavours and you can buy tubs to take home. Gallone's ice cream is the best so go to the parlour and have one yummy 😋

Its nice, but not great, texture a bit crystallised they lack flavour. definitely not bad, but iv had much better

Good coffee and great ice cream. I loved this place, staff are smiley and welcoming . I did not feel ripped off in the slightest, everything is priced perfectly and gorgeous, even the little sugar sachets.

I am lactose intolerant and was able to choose from 3 different flavoured ice creams which were all delirious or could have had fruit sorbets

Visited a Gallones van in the park. Very disappointed. Not because the prices have increased by a ridiculous amount, but because of the servers. Two teenagers with, it seemed, absolutely no training regarding cleanliness and health. No masks, no hand wash, handling cash and food with no precautions whatsoever. Covid safe? There were not even the most basic health measures in place. Gallone management, you are - or at least were - better than this.

Lovely and clean. Great variety of flavours to suit every taste and generation. Staff always friendly. A real indulgence and pleasure. Came home with a few tubs for the freezer too.

Zero taste or texture...even their peanut butter flavour was disappointing and that's hard to get wrong! Don't bother. Noel's is the best but even supermarkets own can beat Gallones 😳

The children went to a friend's party here.They all got to make their own ice cream in the private party room which they enjoyed very much.

Came here with my family for the first time and omg was it amazing! The food was delicious and there were so many ice cream flavours to choose from!! The only negative was that when were were in the queue to order, it took a while for us to be served but the food came quickly and it was delicious, it was definitely worth the wait! 10/10, will definitely be coming back!!

Disappointing.... no longer sell any of their lollies unless you want to buy a box of 30.... or the advice was go and find a van ! Err no..... Bought their traditional vanilla which was just as it's always been....perfect. However also bought 1lt of Maple Walnut...... so poor and nothing like it use to be, tasteless sweet cold nothing, a few bits of also taseless walnuts and worst still the icecream was extremely grainy in texture as if the mixture had split when being made.......so so disappointed, thrown 2 thirds away.

Food was delicious, however tables were not cleaned during our visit, and they seemed to have a nest of fly's hoovering around.

Nice ice cream and sauce but when I went you could only have a cone or plastic sundae holder. I wanted one scoop in some kind of recyclable or compostable tub. Fairly quick - would depend on how long the person takes to choose I guess. Cards accepted.

This ice cream is the best in the world I used to love it when steve used to drive the van to our street, we would go to to him even if we only got 50p worth and we would go out twice if he came round twice a day When my pap got ill the only thing he would eat in hospital was this ice cream He died on my birthday In his memory we visit on my birthday every year and have 1 for him I do not eat from any other ice cream vans

Growing up with Gallone's ice cream I didn't appreciate how good it is. Now I no longer live in Northampton, whenever I come back to visit, it's a must have. The parlour has taken Gallone's to the next level, being able to sit in comfort and eat your ice cream, which you can now order as a sundae or with waffles and in multiple flavours, but personally my favourite is still the original. Definitely worth a visit.

This is my daughter's favourite place to have an ice cream so she won't let me give less than 5 stars. :-) Having said that, it genuinely deserves it. The ice creams are perfect - not too sweet and with well balanced flavours with plenty of options for sauces and toppings. You can even buy tubs to take home!

An absolutely brilliant place to bring the kids and the staff are very friendly.

Gallones ice cream is second to none, we always enjoy ice cream from here. However it has to be a treat as it is very expensive.

I have grown up eating Gallone's ice cream I wont eat anyone else's it has to be theirs. They do loads of flavours and they do tubs to take home. Gallone's are the best of the best it's a bit more expensive but if you want a decent ice cream this is the place to come.

does really delicious ice cream, in sundaes or on cones! I've only been once but will be sure to go back in hot weather.

The ice cream is nice but it doesn't taste the same as the ones you get from the ice cream van, why is that? Prices are reasonable when comparing to other establishments like this but the decor is drab and on our visit nearly every table was dirty. The staff seemed very uninterested, the experience wasn't great being Northampton born Gallones have had a place in my heart since I was a kid so I am hoping I just visited on an off day.

Like everything change comes. Gallones are not what they use to be, new generations have their own ways of doing things and this affects the brand. They do have an ice cream parlor but its quite expensive.

This is perfect for taking my 6 year old daughter to, for a little treat! She loves to choose her Icecream and toppings. We both love the Icecream- there is a great range of flavours.

Wow. Just wow. This ice cream is DELICIOUS! Proper ice cream, like by the seaside. Good selection (though if, like me, you're disappointed by the lack of pistachio flavour, I 100% recommend the peanut butter flavour!). And prices very reasonable. I've ridden by it hundreds of times, and only found out about it from a friend who's local last week. Don't miss this delicious stop!

We dropped by for an after school treat on a Friday and was very disappointed at the cleanliness.we didn't notice initially, but once we ordered and sat down, it was quite obvious the place needs a deep clean. The walls where we sat were adorned with chocolate finger marks and sweet coloured dribbles down the wall. The skirting board was disgusting and needs replacing. The service counter which began behind where we sat was dirty with black dust (behind the coffee syrups). Obviously not included in the cleaning regime.. It was my first visit so I was keen to try the ice cream, it was nice, if a little over priced. £5.25 for 3 scoops of ice cream? . (Make your own mind up). The staff were dissinterested and kept looking at the clock (for home time?). All this compounded by a visit to the toilet to wash my hands only to find No toilet roll and no soap... Oh dear. I did inform the staff of this as other people started to turn up (it was empty when we are arrived, so plenty of time to check the toilets?) I've been recommended to try, as its great for the kids, but based on this visit I will not be returning. Shame, as cleaning isn't hard, it's just laziness of standards.

Had a nice refreshing Knickerbocker and you can pick your own flavoured scoops and toppings. So many different flavours to choose from. Just what you need on a nice sunny day.

Amazing deserts and a great place.

We took our Boys Brigade Company last Friday to Gallone's for Pancakes and Ice Cream. 15 very excited 5-9 year olds and 4 staff. From the moment we arrived Molly & Emily were fantastic with the boys, they kept them entertained and nothing was too much bother. The evening started off with a colouring competition, followed by making some batter, lessons on how to wrap cutlery and finally how cook a pancake (very hands on). We had a Gluten Free requirement and this was catered for really well with a separate batter and special Ice Cream! The boys came away buzzing with excitement and wanting to go again next week! Thank you so much for such a great evening.

Ice cream & drinks really nice, background music needs attention

Considering we were the only people in there I thought the waiting time for two drinks and a waffle with ice cream was a little excessive hence 4 stars given. That said the mocha was excellent and my son loved the waffles.

The food, staff, and price is really good! Best Waffles and Ice Cream I've had in my life! Such a small but lovely place. The food is really fast but certainly doesn't taste rushed. The waffle are nice and fluffy and the ice cream is top quality. Highly Recommended!!

My kids love this place. They have a great selection of ice cream, lots of parking across the road.

Didn't actually go in, lingered around outside and eliminated all trace of team Instinct on Pokemon Go. Have previously eaten there before, good ice cream, great prices and a hand-dryer so powerful it blows harder than my ex wife on a rugby club curry night. My hot Polish fiance with a huge rack approves of the desserts on offer.

Went to school with the boys glad to see the family business grow within the community.
