The story begins way back in the early 2000’s when I used to visit Cafe Nero in Northampton. Emmanuel who owns Caffe d’Italia was working at Nero’s and I told him to open his own Caffe. He did just that! Fast forward 20 Years and Café d’Italia is still owned and operated by Emmanuel who has a passion to serve up the best Cappuccino in town. From Coffee to Croissants, from Panini’s to Italian 🇮🇹 Delicacies you can be sure of service with a smile at Caffé d’Italia. A little shame that Emmanuel can’t park his Vespa outside his Caffe. It’s part of the Italian Culture after all. A little entrepreneurial spirit goes a very long way! Here’s to the next 20 Years. ☕️☕️☕️

Visited this place for the first time today. Although small, really nice atmosphere and amazing service. Baked goods are fantastic 👌. Only downside - cash only, no card payments.

We were visiting the area and looking for a quiet spot for lunch when we stumbled across this little cafe. So glad we did! Excellent coffee and lunch sandwiches and the man serving was very friendly and keen to make sure we enjoyed our food. Best coffee we've had in a cafe in ages. We would definitely go back in we're in this area again.

Purchased a pistachio cream croissant and spinach & mozzarella arancini - absolutely incredible, so delicious. Coffee is fantastic too and all met with polite and friendly service!

This is the more authentic Italian cafe you will ever find in Northampton. The owner is originally from Nápoles and he is very friendly. The coffe is the best you can get. They have a selection of Italian pastries and snacks that will take you straight to Italy. It's a very authentic cafe like the ones you would find in Italy. Stop wasting your money in chains like Costa or Starbucks and support small businesses like this.

I poped in the cafe at second time. This cafe is always busy and it doesn't have many seats inside but this time I could have. it is cash only. I ordered Americano with Tiramisu. Tiramisu was good. Tiramisu was £4 in Sep. 2023. I had pistachio croissant before. That was good too.

The Best Coffee in Northampton where everyone seems to know everyone so although I visit on my own there is always someone to chat to.....if not Manuel will always be there to - even chats if he is "run of his feet with takaways" or busy making his pizzas!

The coffee (both hot and iced) is amazing. The location is quaint and offers a slice of Italy in a small town feel. Good food options to choose from, including fresh pizza and lasagna, to cakes and patisseries. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

After awful service at the cafe creperie across the road, we decided to try out this place it was amazing and the guy serving was so lovely. we enjoyed a Nutella like coffee which was fabulous

Perfect café when you’re in town, great espresso and food!

I like to support local businesses and this is by far my favourite. Always busy, the food is fresh, authentic and so, so tasty! (the toasted olive bread sandwiches are exquisite) the coffee is great and the service is always friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Great location when shopping in town centre. My 3 year old loves it here too and learns a new Italian word each time we visit. Last week when we were there the owner Manuel was busily making up fresh pizzas, so I look forward to trying one next week when we come.

Searched for Italian breakfast in Northampton and Cafe D’Italia came up. What a glorious find. Real Italian cafe run by an actual Italian, felt like I was back in Italy. Fantastic coffee, delicious fresh pastries, still warm and a ciabatta to die for. I wish this was my local cafe GRAZIE

This place has always served great coffee, I have gladly walked up from the train station and avoided the large chain brands, I’ve always had great coffee here, one of the few places who actually take a pride in it, unfortunately on my last visit the cappachino milk was over steamed, not only did I burn my mouth it was awfully bitter because if this, I immediately told the owner that the coffee was made too hot and it was awful, he replied what do you mean too hot? Well anyone who knows about coffee knows it should not be served that hot, to add insult to injury after I’d burnt my mouth on paying he said the card machine was a minimum £5, I hadn’t any other cash or card only Apple Pay and I thought after the incident he may have just took my payment, needless to say I’ll be going to costa over the road from now on, also for his attention card issuers make it illegal to demand minimum payments

Definitely worth visiting if you're after a snack. Service is really good, owner was friendly and helpful. All of the food on offer looked really good and what I ate was tasty. Will be coming back again. Can tell that he's proud of his cafe and so he should be.

Only has a few tables in side and some more out side, but the coffee is far superior to the major chain opposite the. The desert was delicious as were tge hot sandwiches (sorry can't remember the Italian names)

Found this gem of a cafe randomly opposite a Costa. I love coffee, I love cake. This place does the best coffee and the best cake. I cannot reccomend this place highly enough. If you are in Northampton go here for coffee and cake.

After reading the reviews I was looking forward to having a coffee. Support a local business instead of somewhere like Costa or Starbucks. It was SHUT. The business unfortunately has CLOSED DOWN. The reason for the one star is because the information is not upto date on here, which needs to be addressed.

Just had a delivery of 2 lovely pizzas. On time , hot and delicious! Owner of cafe in mask, kept his distance and was extremely friendly. Will definitely order again!

We are not fond of most of the coffee chains as their offerings tend to be so what insipid. Not here! We both had Americano and the taste was superb - strong and full of flavour. It may sound odd to say that we could taste the coffee for quite a while after - and that is a real comp,moment! The premises are small, though the are a couple of chairs thre and we assume that in the summer there will be outside seating. There was a tantalising display of cake, croissants etc - which we resisted. Very firiendly service., and we shall definitely return.
