We stayed in the caravan site next door and called over for a meal. We had a warm welcome and all the staff we met, including the chef were extremely friendly and very pleasant company. Meals looked really appetising and tasted fantastic. The place is clean and welcoming. We first went there a year ago and had an excellent meal, we called back and were definitely not disappointed! Great place for a meal or drinks.

The best curry I've ever had. Finally tried something different tonight, along side my normal dhansak and the saag is also so amazing. Thank you pentwyn spice, you're always amazing!

Horrible inedible food. I ordered a chicken tikka kebab which was very dry. Chips were inedible. Poppadoms were sodden in oil, flimsy & not crisp as expected. Onion bagee, though ordered and paid for were not delivered. In short this once good take away has slipped so badly. I have requested my previous review to be deleted. I strongly advise to avoid this establishment, grab yourself a bag of crisps instead.

Went to a 80th birthday party at ‘The OtherPlace’. On walking in to the lounge room on a very cold night, straight away you could feel the room was very cold. We asked if the heating was on and was told that it wasn’t as the cold buffet food was laid out and they didn’t want it to get warm. People in their 60’s 70’s and 80’s were sitting around in their coats all evening just to keep warm. Having to walk through the bar to go to the toilet the bar area was lovely and warm with the regulars sitting around without their coats Just one more thing, they couldn’t sell gin and tonic as they didn’t have any tonic???

La comida se veía bien y sabía increíble, su relación calidad-precio es muy buena. El servicio fue rápido y el personal es muy amable. Sin duda volveré a pedir de nuevo.

Has been good and really enjoyable food, however I'm not sure if they change the chefs or what, either way this has now been the second takeaway in last few months, where food is Watery tasteless muck. It's not cheap, and I expect better. It HAS been better, but inconsistencies are letting them down badly. Would be order there again? Not within the next 12 months for sure. Come on Basmati, get it back together.

So, for the 3rd time, we took a chance and ordered again. The only reason we tried again after 2 total disasters was because the food is great. Unfortunately the delivery is a shambles ! The first time we ordered we waited over 2hrs,On ringing they said on the way, then , then they said they must have overlooked our order, be there in 5mins. The second time we ordered and said , dont keep us waiting please last time was disasterous, they promised not and gave us a discount - guess what -over 2.5hrs. I know , mad for trying again right! But I thought lets give them another chance, it surely cant get worse., if remind them about the last 2 deliveries. Took the biscuit at 3hrs waiting for delivery , the driver said they are short a driver. So if you order, do it at tea time for an evening delivery. The food is great, but the delivery service is a disaster - so order in plenty of time or pick your own order up.

Have used this restaurant for many years - both eat-in and takeaway. It used to be very good ... the standard by which I judged others. The last 2 visits (both take away) were not very good. #1 Food order was wrong, and didn't find out until we got home, ended up with one meal that could not be eaten ! #2 Ordered good selection of items, and when we got home the meals were really bland .... no depth of flavour, no individual tastes .... just a puree sauce and little meat, very poor (all of the meals) Unlikely we will be returning
