Very very expensive. Paid twice what if pay for in London. Took nearly an hour to make the food which was supposed to take twenty minutes. Food was extremely poor. Halfrezi wasn't a jalfrezi. Just a chicken curry with peppers and nothing but chilli. Doner in naan was just crusty store bought flatbread with old doner which smelt like it had gone off. Old rice which looked at least two days old. Gobi which was uncooked and chips that were re fried. Would not recommend or use again. Very poor service and food.

Order took time, however worth the wait!!! I ordered non veg thali for 2 + Cheese burgers + mix grill. Chicken balti and tikka masala were very good, popadoms went down a treat with the kids. my so. wouldn’t share the cheese burgers that tells you it was awesome. Finger licking good, decent sized portions!!! Ordered a takeaway and they promised a home delivery at no extra costs👍 thank you for the service 😁

I live in Bolton, Besides the obvious curry miles, we have a great range of spice houses. I have myself been cooking Bir or authentic spice meals for many years. I can assure you my meal today was so enjoyable, a great and fine spice dish.

Delivery took 2 hours 20mins from order and deliver estimate changed four times. Food arrived not even an apology and then the food was poor. Peshwari Nan bread was very thick and undercooked very doughy and very little coconut in it. Curry’s was nowhere near quality of past orders. Very disappointed.

Piping hot and full of flavour. Portion sizes have improved as well 👌

Our food is disgusting , biriyani came like mush no flavour the madras just tasted like spicy water the chips were a mixture of fries and chips and it was all freezing cold! Avoided eating due to how bad it was Tried to contact the restaurant and no answer

Ordered online for delivery, food arrived in good time. Had a bhuna with beef and plain rice, and a chicken pasanda with naan bread. The food was very tasty. Definitely worth a try, and we certainly will come back for more.

Food of high standard and delivered piping hot. Excellent curries all round. Only negative is it was late arriving.

That meal was ordered at 7 ish due to be delivered 20.25 and came 21.45 it’s now 21.50 and it’s inedible and in the bin! Really gone downhill this place, meat was so cold it was hard even the cans of drink were hot, the wrap so cold it had gone hard and just crumbled, funny taste to donermeat! Rhyl hasn’t the best of choice but there is better, not even a sorry for it arriving late!

Disappointing experience - the food took 1hr 30mins to arrive on a Monday. this was 20 mins more than the suggested time slot. The person delivering was in a foul mood. The naan were cold when they arrived, and the mixed veg bhajis were not bhajis at all - was more like a dhal. We won't be returning.

Took ages to be delivered and when it finally arrived it was all cold oh except a Luke warm curry , tried a bit of the lamb and it was really tough , so it went all in the bin , waste of time and a lot of money, will not be ordering again !!

To be honest, we only called here as it was one of a few curry places open on boxing day, and we have found our new favourite curry places had a bit of a wait for are food witch they did say so I didn't mind but you could tell it was cooked fresh the chicken and lamb was so soft it fell apart me and the wife ordered two driffent curry's but when we tested them the wife wanted half of mine so we did 50/50 hahah we had chicken Balti and lamb tikka massala peala rice and egg fried rice garlic nann bread will be Definitely coming back

Food came in a box and spilt a little bit but food was great me and kids really enjoyed it definitely order again just needs to come in proper packaging next time 🙂

Food absolutely cold, phoned up about it and was told that they can't help it if its windy and made food cold. The driver was only out the car 15 seconds max, he was sat in car for 5 mins before coming to door. I have it all on camera

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I’ve been coming to this cafe for 19 years. every time I came to wales with the family, most of the time eating breakfasts every day spending 40/50 pounds a time. Well Today I’ll never set foot in the place again. Ordered food came eventually Now the food was 3/10 Everybody sitting round me all Said the same… isn’t the same experience had before l Think the staff need training In my experience I personally think it’s changed owners or something

Out of date chicken Green chips vile smell awful

We ordered at 5.30pm for a 8.30 delivery, I had to call & chase in the end it was 55 mins late. I understand it is a busy day but this is not acceptable. Delivery aside, the food was stunning, the nicest curry I have had in a long time, which helped as we ordered a keema naan & got a peshwari instead.

Items was missing just eat wasn't interested why should they when they had my money

dhal was just juice practically, p, nann was like yesterdays, hard and dry, pastry on samosas disappointing. we have had a few meals from you, but no more

Worst takeaway we've ever had! Missed some of our order and said it would be brought out, but never came. Curry was ok but everything else was disgusting and extremely greasy.

I've had samber from a few different Indians in local and away areas and they tasted the same, from here it tasted different and was not as hot as I usually have. I would get from here again but would prefer to order from Asha's the garlic rice from there is fantastic 😋...

DO NOT GO HERE! Ordered multiple chicken curry’s as a quick fix! They were absolutely awful! Chicken taste rotten and like fish! Nan bread was solid! May look as normal. Absolutely awful!!!!! If I could post a video of me smashing the garlic bread against the table, I would!! Phoned up and they did nothing! 😑

The main meal was very nice but the starters were disappointing. Samosas we’re tough, mixed starter was overcooked, mushroom pakora soggy and greasy. Sheek kebab had a weird taste, popodums were broken.

Omg where do i start.made order to collect. When to pay suddenly the famous can't take bank card speech. They tell you how much and said send a private link to pay through card. Then bill changes again. Go back in said you said it was this muchand now you charging me this. They said there a card charge to use service. Are they having a laugh. Bear in mind they have 10% written everywhere and 15%off also if you collect.then take none of the discounts off and charge more. Neadless to say walked out never to return. And shocking the premises around the shop too.put it this way you wouldn't want food from there. Before you order read this review and go see for yourself everything i have said. Do curry places not know we all onto the we can't take card.change the record!

Mushy and uncooked onion bhaji, rice hard, cold, dry and clumped together

Original delivery time was extended by 20/30 mins more than originally stated, when the food eventually arrived it was all stone cold! The naan bread was like card board and rock solid.. rice was full of hard clumps and the sauce was really watery.. really disappointing as it was expensive too! Won’t use again!

So my food must of been cooked instantly because it was cold upon arrival, did get use of the naan bread as used it as a temporary frisbee in the garden for the dogs which they enjoyed tho sadly the rest was binned, I’m disappointed as was expected great things, sadly that was not the case! Also my salad consisted of 3 cucumber slices and 2 tomato’s which doesn’t really matter because if the owners don’t care they why should I! Tonight was a disgrace tho I’ll revisit here after the disappointment of this evening passes.

Had from here about 6 years ago and really did not enjoy my food it was actually disgusting but I moved to Rhyl nearly 3 years ago and decided to give it another go and must say the food was amazing and very delicious my wife had steak n chips with salad steak was cooked to perfection I had one of there curries with rice n Nan and this was cooked perfect all the food was hot and delivered early will definitely order again highly recommend 👍👍👍👍🥘

I wish I could give a good review because I was so looking forward to my curry, it arrived seriously late. The poppadoms were crushed into tiny crumbs, and the naan was wet and soggy. The chilli chicken had leaked, and the chips were cold. It was overall very poor service and disappointing food.

Ordered at 8.20 food arrived just before 11pm, called numerous times and was told it was on its way. Food stone cold, I couldn't eat mine and my husband's tandoori mixed grill was disgusting- not due to being late just tasted awful and meat was hard and dry. Pappadoms were chewy and in pieces.

First time here but my last. Starter chicken tikka was slices of chicken rather than chunks so not marinated very well, no dips to go with it and poppadom was all broken Chicken tikka Madras main, sauce was good but again chicken not great, rice was clumpy. Keema naan was really poor, no meat in it, rather a paste spread in it. All the food was just warm but still waited an extra 10 mins over the collection time. Disappointing

Ordee was 10 min late for collection (45 mins in total) Tikka starter was sliced pieces of chicken rather than chunks, poppadom was all broken, no dips to go with it, curry sauce (madras) was nice but again chicken tikka not great, rice was a bit clumpy and the keema naan was very poor, hardly any keema in it, more a paste spread. Won't be back

Order took 2 hours to come, everything was cold. Poppadoms were bendy, like the bottom of a running trainer. Refunded and ordered from elsewhere. Pathetic effort

This was awlful. The food arrived late and the curried were cold. The chips and naan were also cold and the chips were shrivelled and in a grease soaked bag. My curry had no spice and all I could taste was salt. (That was after I had to reheat it in the microwave.) Our other curry was also cold and when it was reheated the chicken was as tough as wood! And when have popadoms been broken into tiny pieces resembling the bottom of a crisp packet? - well, that’s what we had. I ordered a vegetable bharji but, instead of it being a fried cluster of batter and veg it was just a tin container of cooked peppers and onions in some sort of sauce. This was the first time we used this takeaway….we won’t be rushing back.

Food was very late, we were meant to be having sit down dinner with parents but they had to take theirs home and reheat at home , never received the complimentary coke for ordering £50 worth of food , popadums smashed to pieces and most of food was cold .

Food wasn’t hot portion size of the tandoori was shocking no taste of the tandoori flavour was meant to be a main not a starter 14.00 pounds paid terrible mushroom starter was stone cold like the rest of the food ! The Peshwarni Nan was smothered with gooey sweet stuff to the point it was ridiculously sweet & tough the mixed starter meat chewy paid over 90quid overall expected it to give at least standard service like food being hot wouldn’t order from here again & would like a full refund please

We waited 2.5 hours for our delivery before cancelling. When ringing the restaurant they were rude and obnoxious stating that they were too busy to deal with our order. They refused to refund our money even though the time confirmed by them was just over an hour. An absolute shambles and safe to say we will not be ordering from them ever again

Normally the food from new Spice of India is good but tonight was an “off “ night. Firstly they forgot to send the Chicken Makahni although they did send it later. The usually good portion of onion bargee was small and very over cooked. The chicken korma was fine but I couldn’t find any cheese in the Makahni and the sauce was very vinegary. Not a good night. A pity as they are usually good

maybe this was a one off but i had to chase twice to get an update on the delivery status, the food however was good but not worth waiting over an hour for.

food delivered late very late well over an hour so asked for money back in the just eat app and this was the reply. The restaurant isn't going to give you any money back for your delayed order. They say: "We're really sorry your order wasn't delivered on time. The bad weather was delaying our deliveries, sorry." Bad weather ha! there was slight drizzle in rhyl tonight.

This used to be the best curry house in the area, but tonight we ordered and it was bland, slimy, watery and everything tasted the same. Such a shame we used to really enjoy the fantastic food we've had from this restaurant... its always taken longer than expected but has previously been worth the wait. Very disappointing that it has changed so drastically, i certainly won't be ordering again.

Our food arrived late but when it finally arrived we were given the wrong order so had to call the restaurant to get the driver to come back and swap them over. Once this finally happened our food was cold and soggy. We paid good money for this food and when I called them back although they did apologise they really didn’t seem to care!

Me and my family have just been for a lovely weekend away in Rhyl. On the Saturday night we were all hungry after a day on the beach so we decided that we all fancied a kebab. This takeaway… or can I even call it that?! is located just across from Asda. We had to wait over 45 minutes for a variety of kebabs, which should have been a major red flag but we were all hungry so we decided to wait. Well… I wish we didn’t! The food was that horrendous I wouldn’t even give it to a dog. The doner kebab looked like it had just been stripped off a tyre it was that rubbery!! it was supposed to come in a naan bread and it was in a crusty Mexican tortilla wrap! I thought an Indian would know what a naan bread is?! Then to add insult to injury we asked for salad and garlic Mayo and they just whacked on the rubber with nothing!! It’s safe to say that it went straight in the bin. The chicken burger we received was clearly a rustlers burger that had been warmed up and as for the chicken kebab it looked like strands of horse hair! Absolutely disgusting! When we rang to complain and ask for a refund the guy just laughed at us down the phone. I honestly think this is some kind of drug den - as “takeaway” drivers were turning up in brand new Mercedes’ to collect so called “food” more like collecting drugs! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! We spent over £70 and all the food went in the bin, absolutely disgusting!!!

Try another takeaway you have been warned!! All cold waited over 2 hrs never again waist of money 1st time had to complain to just eat wish I had not order from here and gone elsewhere
