Fantastic food every time , excellent service ' highly recommended

I had a good experience here at The Little Indian Chef. The food was lovely and the service was good. Very clean and well presented decor.

Very good quality food and consequently very busy on a Saturday evening in school holiday time. Food a little slow arriving and a tad annoyed by a group who arrived later being asked for their choices before us. However food quality made up for it.

We went here on Sunday evening for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. Having seen some of the reviews on here, I can confirm that this place is a little gem. Very tasty authentic food, not swimming about in fat, not ruined by copious amounts of artificial food colouring. Just good wholesome very tasty decent quality food. Exceedingly friendly service, even if they did forget the drinks and had to be politely reminded. Will definitely be coming back

Service was great, place clean and inviting but the food is bland. We had 4 different dishes and they all lacked flavour unfortunately, which was such a shame because the place and staff are lovely. Bill was £100, which was too much for food that was bland. Sadly the rice came out room temperature too

I live very close to what is regarded locally as the best Indian restaurant in Portsmouth, however whilst on holiday I ordered a take away from the little Indian chef restaurant and would have to say it knocks spots off our home Indian. The food was fantastic. My chicken tikka starter was delicately spiced, succulent and moist and tasted superb, my main chicken Mumbai was spicy without too much heat and balanced with the flavoursome pilau rice really well. My wife who is very fussy with Indian food really enjoyed her korma and saag paneer. Even the naan, chapati and popadums were tasty and fresh. I only wish I didn’t live 300 miles away. Well done and I highly recommend this place

It's a Little Chef that's now an Indian, what's not to love? Service was a little slow but they were rushed off their feet and very apologetic. They were very good about changing ingredients to vegan too. Food was delicious!

We had today diner at there and they charge me more than we ordered when we inform staff about that they started shooting on me and my girlfriend...they shamelessly say we will not deduct items once we added and we will charge it anyhow....what poor customer service... even they refuse to give me bill as well ...I have complained this incident to local council and business body as well...... don't go there guys never go ..they not once apologies for there rude behavior

Very poor and redeculas service staff is so behaviour . We were in a road trip and were hungry and just happened on this place! Amazing service and food! Shaf is one amazing waiter! Kayden was super kind and sat us even though we didn’t book! Food is fresh and so super tasty! you can’t go wrong!

We decided to have a takeaway, it was fantastic, the tastes were delicious, very quick service and great value. We will be using Little Indian Chef any time we want an Indian meal. Can highly recommend.

Called in tonight and I couldn’t fault the place, the decor is lovely and the food was delicious, staff were very pleasant and polite, the only criticism I could say is that the portions were too big so didn’t have room for a dessert🤣 I would highly recommend and I will certainly be visiting again.

1st time visit, pre booked for valentines night and the place was full. Food quality and portion size was quite good, naan breads seem bought in though. Popadom & pickle tray, 2 starters, 1 rice, 1 chips, 2 mains. 1 shandy & 1 bottle of rose £85.00 Service was abrupt and not friendly. Felt quite surly at times and this was from a number of different waiters. Noticed this when watching other tables so clearly a general issue and not due to us. Put us off returning so wont be back in a hurry.

Nice food. BUT We were a group and when paying the bill were told it was not possible to pay individually, the bill had to be split equally. This left some of the group to pay substantially more than they owed. In addition to that the bill was rounded up by the restaurant which meant we were over charged. Such a shame to treat customers so poorly.

A very pleasant dinner at the Little Indian Chef. My sweetheart Michelle opted for the Chicken Balti and I went for the Chicken Tikka Shaslik. The food was excellent and accompanied by some Cobra Indian lager. The service is always very good and the staff very hospitable. We will be back soon.

Ordered a dhansak, really looking forward to it but had no spices in it, in fact my kellogs corn flakes was spicier,wont go there again.

As regulars we booked for New Year’s Eve but still waited an hr for a table. Obviously they had taken on to much and could not cope, very disappointing as made us late for evening. Food was dry although tasty. Would have been nice to been offered a free drink for the wait but sadly not. Not good. Need to remember your not the best or cheapest in area, think we will give you a miss for a while. Would normally give 4stars

The quality of the food is awful. All the mixed starter was mushy, and swimming in fat. Not cooked in a tandoori oven. The wine was served warm n not chilled. The mains of shashlick chicken came as a mixed tandoori this was the same as mixed starter awful. Garlic n coriander nann had no garlic. Positive's: staff pleasant and friendly. I was not charged the extra in price for the chicken Shaslick v mixed tandoori. I requested a 10_15 min interval between courses, however starter served at same time as poppadoms. I certainly won't return.

Disappointed 2nd time round as nan breads were brought in not made in house.shame but won't be returning the Balti wasn't as good as the first time either

Our favourite place, perfect for after a day on the mountains. Brilliant service and great quality food!!

This is 3rd time now in few months. Ideal location, plenty parking. Go to catch up with friends. Yes expensive but food lovely. . But TOO rushed. We still eating poppadoms when starter arrived. Then main meal straight after. We were finished within hour. This has been case if busy or quiet. We go for chat slow down.

Had a great night with friends , great service from the guys , but I have to say the food for me was average , and a little tasteless , but that was my opinion only , still had a great night 👍

Just recently been again. Want to say how pleasant the staff are. The restaurant is really nice and the atmosphere is welcoming. The food is delicious. Your a firm favourite when we get a rare night off.

Had a takeaway on our way to Anglesey. Had several takeaways in the past going to Anglesey or on the way back home. Always been great. Today very poor tasteless prawn starter & 2 Balti curry's, mushroom rice very oily. Chicken very dry too. Very disappointed. .

An impromptu midweek visit with my sweetheart Michelle. The food was very good and the staff were welcoming, efficient and attentive. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant which is just off the A55 at Llanddulas on the site of a former Little Chef. We also had a take-away for our son who complained his nut-free meal was a bit too salty - nevertheless a very good evening.

I've eaten in the restaurant in the past and fancied a takeaway. I knew it would be good and I wasn't disappointed. Same high standards as you get with the restaurant. It's obvious that everything is cooked fresh. Delicious flavors, rich sauces and beautifully cooked. The nan bread is fresh, delightfully flavoured and thick. The rice is perfect, I love their lemon rice which has a lovely, tangy kick. I enjoy walking in as you get an knowledged by the staff the second you walk in. All of the staff, without exception, are very polite and professional. If you like hotter curries try their Cylon, it is delicious. Very impressed!

Just back from a really lovely family meal at The Little Indian Chef. The surroundings, the efficient, friendly staff and food were amazing. High quality food and good portion sizes. Great wines and beer. All of us enjoyed everything. It was a cold and rainy evening; enough to make you want to stay put indoors, but this restaurant was packed, which says it all. New to this area. And as it was open we decided to have an indian takeaway. We were very impressed the food was delicious one of the best we have had. We didnt sit in but when I went to collect takeaway the decor was beautiful and the staff very courteous. We will go and sit in next time friends are down to visit.... found a gem of a place by accident. Beautiful food.

Found this gem of an Indian restaurant by chance and wow...it is the best Indian Restaurant in North Wales. Nothing is too much trouble and always fantastic service. Food is great.

Best Indian restaurant around by far, nicest food I've had for a long time from an Indian.

Me and my family were looking for a place to eat so we looked up places near us and this came up.The food was amazing and so delicious and the food came out in 5-10 minutes lovely built I recommend this place alot!

The food here was beautiful. I had the tandoori king prawn shashlick with masala sauce and it was amazing. The prawns were so juicy and such good quality. My boyfriend ordered the chicken Sally curry and he said it was beautiful. The next day he wouldn’t shut up about how much he enjoyed it! The meal was very nice. Staff were friendly and quick service. It was more on the expensive side, a lot more expensive than the Indian restaurants we have locally where we are from. But it was good quality so we would go back again. And we did notice that the prices were more expensive on the menu when we arrived at the restaurant in comparison to the online menu on their website.

What an absolute find - excellent food and service. This place offered a great range of freshly cooked, authentic Indian food. The staff were attentive and the place was buzzing, Really good experience and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful restaurant set way back off the road behind a petrol station. Lovely venue, staff and food. Was really pleased to see the menu catered for food allergies and intolerances. Good atmosphere and made to feel welcome and special 😁

This restaurant is very impressive when you walk in. Lovely decor & plenty of space around each table. The staff are friendly & helpful. The problem is that there are so many waiters there being managed by one in charge that it was not a relaxing experience. We felt that they didn't need bossing about as they were lovely, helpful & were doing a good job without being directed here there & everywhere by this "Manager" We only had poppadoms & chutney to start as previous experience has taught us that these are enough for us as we get older ! If we have starters we are full & don't enjoy our main courses The main courses were very nice & generous portions. We shared a Tandoori mixed grill that came with a medium vegetable curry( not really to our taste) & pilau rice . We also ordered a Vegetable Korma & a Peshwari naan. Overall we enjoyed our meal tbough it was a tad exoensive at just under £50. This included a coke & a Cobra beer too. We will look forward to a return visit in due course.

It was my first visit. I was impressed. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. The food was delicious. The venue was extremely nice. All this is backed up by how full it was. It seems a very popular place & for good reason. Although it was very busy, the seating was set out in such a way that it felt very private. Highly recommended

The place was stunning, amazing interior design and the service was good but the food is a bit bland ,not suitable for indians who are used to very spicy curries I do not recommend the jeera rice. Overall it was a nice experience but a little too expensive.

Food is amazing, excellent service, there was 25 of us and they were quick, courteous, got the orders all spot on and were just about as good as you could hope them to be. The food was excellent, couldn't find fault with it even if I'd wanted to. Will definitely be going again.

Another enjoyable visit to the Little Indian Chef with my sweetheart Michelle. The premises is located close to the A55 and has a large car-park. The menu has a good selection of dishes, although I usually go for onion bhajis followed by chicken tikka shashlik. The service and food are very good and the restaurant is well worth a visit. My only minor criticism is that there isn’t a greater selection of beers available.

Lovely clean restaurant but getting to be a bit pricey

Having lived in the area for a couple of years my son and daughter said it was really good so decided to give it a go plenty of parking really nice inside modern clean and very spacious oreserd some poppadoms and a pickles tray the best I have ever had the green chilli sauce was mind blowing not to spicy but full of flavour our mains did not disappoint full of flavour and the home made naan breads were out of this world having finished our meals and receiving complementary chocolates I realised I had forgotten my wallet so the walk of shame was immanent with 2 embaresed kids I explained the situation they were fine and said it happens to which my waiter said he would pay for my meal then I did a bank transfer from my phone to his account I don't have contact less on my phone or would of paid this restraunt goes above and beyond 5*

Had a takeaway, what perfect service, everything was correct, which always worries me encase they forget something, but this was fantastic. Tasty, hot, not sat on the side for ages waiting, would have liked to have dinned in, but not sure if they are dog friendly ?? we were staying at the nearby camp site, but the take away was superb !! will defiantly go again when next back in Wales.

Four of us dinned whilst on holiday in the area. We all chose different meals and each one was delicious. One of our party asked for a dish to be cooked milder and they were very accommodating. Her meal was spot on. Our rice was cooked to perfection as was everything that we ordered. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The decor was beautiful and everywhere was very clean. We had a lovely time and would definitely eat there again if we holiday in the area again or pass through.

Nice take away, plenty of flavor and tastes. Bit expensive and loads more chicken than lamb in the mixed dish. Again, only a takeaway review not a dine in and I'd happily have it again as a takeaway. I'd also be happy to have a dine in as it looked like a nice place with plenty of staff helping. Recommended to give it a go. I had mixed karhi with a side saag paneer and veg rice.

Hidden behind a shell service station the restaurant has been adapted from a historic roadside eatery, the clue is in the name. It's a busy place and looks well liked by the locals. Service and the layout is well turned out and the staff efficient and friendly. Food was delicately flavoured for me which shows craft and imagination. Apart from a nan that didn't taste quite like it was supposed to the food was lovely. Would visit again if we were in the area.

Surprisingly good little restaurant but just a couple of issues that prevents me from giving a 5* review. Firstly we ordered a garlic naan and it was plain and whoever made the pilau rice was heavy handed on the cloves. Also we were a little rushed as they were extremely busy. Would still recommend. This is not an Indian restaurant (it is a Bangladeshi restaurant) Nothing I ate there had any Indian flavours. I ordered Chicken tikka masala and it was sweet 😠. The other items I ordered were not authentic either. Food/meat didn't taste fresh. The naan I had looked the same like the ones we usually get in Tesco 😂 They don't make fresh naan bread in their kitchen, doubt if they know how to make one. If you are looking for a proper Indian restaurant, this is not the right place. I will not visit this restaurant ever again. As an Indian, I am truly disappointed to see them call themselves an Indian Restaurant.

Modern building just off A55. Bright and beautifully decorated, individual booths around the outside walls. Wide choice of food, well presented, well cooked and hot. Helpful staff.

Just off the A55, this Indian restaurant is right next to the petrol station with free parking. Both eat in or takeaway. The restaurant is of a good size and is always clean. Staff are welcoming and very helpful whether as to assist with choice of meal or service overall. All staff are dressed smart and present well. Choices from the menu are extensive with allergen friendly foods on request. Prices are comparable with other Indian restaurants however the food has been consistently good every time. My choice was a chicken korma which had the right amount of sauce and good pieces of chicken. Definitely worth a visit

First time having a takeaway from here and wouldn't go back. Food was pretty tasteless, portions were tiny and far more expensive than other local places. Really disappointing as I'd heard good things about the place.

Very tasty food. Good portion sizes. If you like hot as in spicy go big, the pathia was tasty but had no heat to it at all. Would come again because the staff were very welcoming and attentive but will go hotter next time.

Worst experience ever. One of the waiter who did the seating arrangement for us was so rude with us. He was so racist and had so much attitude and complained about our baby. But the host was kind to us and was willing to help us out with the seating. We packed the food and walked of from there. Will never return here again !!!

The food was ok. I hold t say it was anything special. Came here for a friends birthday. I had my 9 month old with me. But their high chairs are definitely not safe for a 9 month old. Belt was broken so he wasn’t...

It was one of the worst food experiences I have ever had. I must say they don't serve fresh food to customers. All the food items which were given in takeaway were not at all fresh. Veg Biryani was rotten and stinky. Such bad quality will make you ill and it is an open invitation to hospitals. Such hotels should have been food inspected without intimation and proper actions should be taken against them. Red Alerts for all. Please be aware before visiting or ordering.
