Amazing food, friendly staff.... A1 service and the best curry in Colwyn Bay. Will for sure be going back as soon as I can.

We've not had a meal from The Masala for a long time since moving from Colwyn Bay. We decided to pick up a takeout on our way home this evening. So glad we did as the food was delicious & very tasty. The portions were generous & the quality of the meat in the Tandoori Mixed Grill was excellent. The vegetable Korma was lovely. We will certainly return for another meal soon & we can highly recommended it. Friendly staff who actually remembered me from years ago!

The best Indian takeaway near Colwyn Bay Area. The person who is at the till is a very friendly person, he knows the preference of his customers very well. He takes at most care with recommending the right food while ordering by suggesting the right spice level,size,portions and which gravy goes well with Rice or Naan. Great portions with generous heart. I would recommend their Chicken Buna with Boiled Rice. Chicken Garlic for Bread Naan. If you are spice lover I would recommend to go for the extreme hot.

Not from the area, but have been staying with my mum last few days. Id seen a great review of this place on the Secret Curry Club on FB, so tried it last night. Had the Chicken chilli roshni, as recommended by the FB review, and it was fantastic. Full of flavour, nice bit of zing from the garlic pickle and perfect heat. Delivery was swift and food was piping hot. Will definately be trying sime more dishes on my next visit!

I had my family come to stay and ordered food for 10 adults and 4 children. The pricing is very reasonable, the delivery was prompt and the food was amazing. The staff are really helpful and dishes can be adjusted to your taste. Would definitely recommend! Five stars all round from us!

Just had a take-out curry with family and it was delicious. First I checked out hygiene rating which is good. Difficult to find a 5* in the area. However curries were really tasty, mushroom rice excellent and the chicken was so juicy. It had been cooked on skewers in clay oven first which really makes a difference. Top notch. Will use again.

This place used to be the best in Colwyn bay but as gone downhill, almost everything other than bread and curry is zapped in the microwave

The food is terrific. The delivery quick or if ver busy they warn you when to expect delivery so you decide what to do. I recommend naga chicken but beware it is Hot Hot Hot. Nice man on phone too.

Always excellent, quality and authentic Indian food made with fresh ingredients and a friendly, warm welcome from the manager and all his staff. Highly recommended.

On vacation in North Wales and staying close by we popped in here on the way back. Friendly, helpful service, we ordered from the extensive menu and waited 20 minutes. A five minute drive to our cottage the food was piping hot, a variety of tasty main dishes, side dishes and Naan breads. Value for money and satisfied with the healthy potions.

keep it short, quiet simply the worse naga i’ve had, weak watery no taste bland really really really poor, if you read this mr manager you really don’t care what crap you serve. yet another waste of money

First visit to the Masala Indian Takeaway. I live in the USA and was in the UK visiting family. The Chicken Roshni was probably the best curry I have ever tasted. I strongly recommend it.

Lovely takeaway meal last nighr I can highly reccomend, my wife always like's Methi Chixken, not many do this around North Wales, I had Chicken Tikka Bhuna. this is also very nice. Best Indian for many miles!

This place is highly recommended. I used to go to another Indian takeaway locally but found the food going downhill, so on recommendation, I tried The Masala and it's now my favourite 'go to' place. The food is always freshly cooked, great portions, and tastes delicious. My favourite is the masala dishes with lemon pilau rice, and their keema nans are gorgeous! I've never had a bad experience here, nor have my friends. Keep up the great food and service!

The mixed kebab was tasty but very small. The sauce on the pathia curry was absolutely delicious but again a small portion, and the meat seem to be some kind of sandwich meat, rather than the lamb tikka it claimed to be. It also seemed to lack any kind of vegetable, which would have been helpful in bulking the portion, but not even an onion in sight! The Peshwari naan, on the other hand, was quite large and very tasty, with plenty of desiccated coconut, which kind of got everywhere! Tasty food, but a tad expensive, considering the limited portion sizes. I would expect more for my money!

Superb food again, Piri Piri Chicken superb, only minor grouse was the 2 small Samosas just not worth the cost and certainly not value for money.

We have recently retried a curry from the Masala, and found it lovely! The problem with this part of the world is finding a decent curry as you can get in Manchester etc. Thankfully we can safely say the Masala is a good curry house. They delivered, the only downsides are, chips, rice, etc should be included in the price, not extras! Also we couldn't pay by card on the phone.....

Ordered via phone and picked up. Time given was not accurate and had to wait -Ordered 40mins before.Ordered the keema nan and chicken madras- both average. The chicken Madras sauce a very thick ( might have had too much thickener) and very unimaginative- chicken and madras sauce which lacked any veg- would have welcomed any veg including onions in dish. The keema nan mince meat that lookedPsychedelic red inside! Need to improve on accuracy of pick up time and make dishes a bit more interesting.

need to think where your looking !! ordered a takeaway from here it was edible but like most places in north wales it’s quite basic and always find the meat not the best wherever you go but as it was my partner who went in to collect she’s said the man behind the counter spent most his time looking at her chest while she was waiting

Me and my family will only ever get out Indian from the Masala the special roll is a meal in its self (when you have added the poppadoms onion banjos and chutney) I have introduced all my work colleagues to the special and they cater for your every needs and have polite staff!!Cant wait to order again.

Myself and my mum had the chicken tikka massala. Unlike other places where’s its very lumpy, sweet and nutty this sauce was deliciously smooth and had a slight heat to it also. The egg fried rice was very moist not dry at all. We’d asked the gentleman on the phone for a recommendation for a curry that’s not too sweet/mild and not too spicy for my grandad and we were told to get the roshni chicken, safe to say it did not disappoint. Will definitely be having again and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else for Indian takeaway from now on.

Consistently tasty, can’t find any faults always quick service and food is always delicious! Wish I had pictures to upload but couldn’t help but eat it as soon as it was opened😂

this place is fantastic and really is a lovely place to go, i highly recommend this place, they will cook anything you ask for even if its not on the menu and are always helpful, the poppadoms are lovely as are the sides but my favourite has to be tandoori mixed grill with masala sauce instead of original curry sauce.. which they will swap and will make spicer if you ask.. wonderful place!!!! best around!

Was very rude , I rang to cancel order and then was shouting at me down the phone don’t agree w the way that are w there business was very rude and forcing me to pay for order when I cancelled and said I wa lying about going out very ignorant and don’t think it’s a nice place to attend very disrespectful

Some friends recommended the Masala to us earlier this year and it’s been a great find. This was the second time we’ve had a takeaway from them and we’ve really enjoyed it after having been a bit disappointed with other takeaways.

Cracking vindaloo delivered to my door. Nuff said.

Was feeling very hungry and came across this takeaway place by chance, very pleasant owner, took time to talk to us, the food was great and just what was needed, I had the chicken tikka sag with pilau rice, just perfect and plenty of it to. Will definitely be returning.

We have had take out from here many times before, tonight meal was amazing they said delivery within 30-40 mins and it was.Food was fresh and hot. We have the meal deal my husband loves chunks of peppers and onions and tonight’s chicken korai was full of them absolutely delicious.A must try for everybody

when you get a take away (delivered to youre home late evening) you dont always expect food to be the best tasting food you've ever bought, but I can say that three times now we have ordered food here that surpassed our expectation, just as it would be if you went to nice restaurant. The other night we ordered naga naga chicken (which was superb and jelfrazi) another one of my favorites is the chicken zira. if you have any requests then the manager will listen carefully and adjust your order accordingly. its a 10 out of 10 from me. also i used to work here as a driver for many years so know how hard the business works to stay professional and honest to customers. Usual takeaway couldn't deliver so took a chance on the Masala and not disappointed service good, food excellent.

After a late decision to grab an indian, we thought we'd give this place a go. Excellent service and ready quick, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be using them again. Well worth it.

Whilst the staff are friendly, the food was of a poor standard. Not particularly tasty and the meat quality wasn't very good. Worse sheesh kebabs and biryani we've ever tasted.

The meal was excellent - highly recommend the chef's special biryani. If you're unsure of what to order the staff will advise you based on your tastes.

This place was recommended to me about 10 years back,and I have used it regularly ever since.I live about ten miles away but it's well worth the journey.unlike a lot of Indian takeaways every dish is cooked individually (no stock pot) the kitchen is open you can see the food being cooked all in individual pans,it's family run everyone is friendly,it's well worth a visit.

Había unas cuantas para llevar desde aquí y todo ha sido muy bueno, el personal es agradable, bien vale la pena. Siempre hay mucha variedad pero si hay algo que no está en el menú de pedir simplemente que son muy buenos en ese sentido.

Greasy and tasteless. The naan bread was congealed together and the pakora just drowning in fat and grease. Bland food and, seriously who puts melted cheese in a curry? Will not be returning. Very disappointing!!

Was a nice meal think there could be a bit more chicken in the main I had as there was only 5 or 6 pieces. The Peshwari Naan bread and Mixed Kebab starter were lovely. Partner wasnt impressed with her main as it had little flavour.

Went to this takeaway in may will never go again even if the food was free the was no taste to the food very watery and not very hot would not recommend this place ☹️️

No rice delivered with meal,i ordered vegetable samosa but ended up with a lamb samosa.i was told my meal would cost 22.50 then when food arrived it was 26.50 then i ordered my rice as it didnt come an they tried to charge me again.food was flavourless.not happy at all.

Got a huge order from here on a Saturday night at around 7 and it still arrived on time and hot. I personally had a buttered chicken and it was the best I've ever had, I tried some other dishes my family ordered and they were delicious too. Definitely the best Indian take away I've had in the Conway around. Tasted very authentic and was spiced just right. Service was very polite.

We ordered a lamb korma, meat madras, chicken balti and a chicken tikka masala excellent quality large pieces of meat great taste and plenty of sundries aswell, great staff as you're always greated with a smile definitely going again....keep up the great work

I I have visit in colywn bay first time seen review in tripadvice I have been with my friend and order first time has I have not like the balti curry as too much salt and the nan was too hard as I will give my review do t waste you money on this takeaway try different place as far I will not came back for sure if not believe try once out then you now and that takeaway need some make over as it look is discasting and make new inside maybe that not make out do something new that Is my review from my side

If you like good Indian food like I do well this is the place to visit and take home or have delivered and have the taste of your life. They say if you like chocolate you can't beat cadburys well this is the same about curry meaning getting the right taste plus getting the spices right and at the masala they do all that all I can say is keep it up coz I am addicted to the place.

I’ve had quite a few curries from here now... Nice people 5 star food hygiene rating and often throw in free poppadoms, but that’s where the good ends... At best the curries are average, at worst only good for the bin... The last one was so thick I could have rolled it into balls, a complete waste of money and I won’t be going back again.

after working a 10 hour shift with 4 hours to go, I thought I would treat myself to an Indian, ordered a chicken korma, however what was delivered certainly wasn't a korma, phoned up to complain to be basically told that I was lying!!!
