We came here with mixed feelings not sure what it was like after reading very mixed reviews. We arrived and were the first ones there as we were early. Greeted by the lovely man we think was the owner - he was very chatty and friendly you could tell he loved being there and interacting. Very speedy service & food. The food and plates were piping hot and all of the food tasted delicious. We all had different meals and we all agreed we would come here again. It was reasonably priced too. We did notice the toilet room had some mould in which would be the only criticism really. Overall really happy with our meal & service here & glad we didn't listen to the bad reviews.

Wow, the food, the service, absolutely top notch. We decided to eat in because why not! They had a couple of tables set up and they were instantly welcoming and kind. The service was superb and the food was delicious! Great options, terrific flavours and good pricing. We had starters, mains and sides and we enjoyed every bite. We came to Narberth from Kent for our anniversary getaway and we wanted to enjoy an Indian takeaway at least once and we were NOT disappointed. Thank you so much, we will definitely visit again when next in Wales.

The only people who would rate this place highly would be the ones who haven’t had authentic Indian food. The food was of poor quality compared to the prices, the chicken was stale and dry and the Prawns that cost over £17 were tasteless and overcooked. Biryani was the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered butter garlic naans and they had neither garlic nor butter. The only thing that was half decent was the curry.

Was carving to have some Indian food… so decided to go to budha budha in Tenby to have food …. It was really amazing and the staff helped me to choose the right food and the chef prepared me the exact Indian food which I used to have back home…. Must try this Indian …. Loved it …. Will come again to have food with family……

Where do I start, what an awful place! The review posted before mine sums everything up nicely, but I had to come here to add my experience. We had ordered our food and expected the usual 1-1.5 hours as it's a bank holiday. Turns out the food wait was over 3 hours!!! What's worse is that they consistently lied to us throughout the wait. All the excuses ranging from "we're really busy" to "the delivery driver has broken down". I even went to the restaurant in person after 2 hours and was lied too directly to my face! There was not ONE SINGLE CUSTOMER in the restaurant. I was told that my food had already left the premises and that they were "sorry" As it so happens it later revealed that not only did the food not arrive before I got home, the guy on the phone afterwards said that "the food is still warm in the bag in the kitchen". Literally, words cannot express how angry I am at this place. If nothing else, the bare face lies said over the phone and then again to my face are unforgivable. I will NEVER order from Taj Indian Grill again, and I STRONGLY advise anyone reading this order from elsewhere. Don't take the chance, it takes days for a refund from Just Eats and it's not worth the hassle.

We visit every time in Wales and enjoy the food. We do take out but dinning room is nice. We will be back when in town again.

Haven’t eaten here since before Covid and that ended up in the bin. A friend said they recently had a lovely meal here so gave them the benefit of the doubt Should have trusted my judgement and gone elsewhere. Chips looked and tasted refried in dirty/old oil, pilau rice passable The wife’s passanda was roasted chicken reheated in the sauce my madras was edible but nothing special Live and learn

Went there for a meal recently, when we had the bill there were 2 discrepancies on the bill ,the menu had the lamb shank down for £14.95 but when we had the bill they were down for £25.05 unbelievable when I questioned it he said we have a different price on a different menu they gave us we need to ask trading standards to go to this place and question their different pricing on the menus I will not be going there again to be ripped off again

Has been good and really enjoyable food, however I'm not sure if they change the chefs or what, either way this has now been the second takeaway in last few months, where food is Watery tasteless muck. It's not cheap, and I expect better. It HAS been better, but inconsistencies are letting them down badly. Would be order there again? Not within the next 12 months for sure. Come on Basmati, get it back together.
