Beautiful hot fresh food, lovely clean place and friendly staff we definitely recommend this place and will be returning

Previous order of a week ago took two hours to arrive despite constant reassurance from an hour in to the order, than delivery was close by. The food was ok and we thought to give them a try again this week. An hour and a half after the order was made, it was cancelled. I was promised a call back that never came. Two bad experiences without apology, avoid.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE ! placed an order 2 & 1/2 hours after the time stated it would arrive … nothing . Driver cancelled the order , when we rang up we were told they couldn’t find us !! Worst excuse Iv heard yet . Waste of time ! Don’t bother ordering if you actually want food to turn up.

Terrible food Was ill all day after eating a takeaway.

We placed an order and never got it. We had to ring up to find out where it was to be told that it got cancelled as the driver didn’t want to drive to us which is only a 10/15 minute drive away. It’s actually ridiculous, if we hadn’t of rang up we wouldn’t have known it was cancelled. We had no apology off them and are still awaiting a refund.

Worst Indian delivered food we've ever had chips were refried greasy and inedible pathia and murgh bengal mild and bland whereas pathia should be hot sweet and sour . Onion bhaji resembled an onion rissole , biriani was like the microwave rice in a sachet. keema nan well the meat was like a thin paste again inedible , out of the set meal and the extra dish of biryani the only thing that was nice was the poppadoms and chutneys and pilau rice and the 4 pieces of tikka. Very disappointing and will never buy from there again. Delivery was on time.£37 waste of money.

Would definitely recommend!!! Food was delicious, staff were lovely and all at a great price! We got the set meal for 2 for £30 and it came with 2 poppadoms, 2 starters , 2 curry's , 2 rice and 2 naan! Was such good value and very tasty!!! Will be coming back!!!

First time we've ordered a meal from this restaurant but won't be the last, the food arrived in super fast time all the food had been freshly cooked to perfection, salad was crisp and well presented and amazing flavours all with good portions, a big thumbs up from us 😀

I wouldn't order any sort off food it's taste less and most planed .staff are rude and talk to customers like they idiots and the restaurant look like it need a really good clean .100 % a restaurant I would avoid.

I can't believe such poor Palace / restaurants still do business. How can I say this . Staff poor talk to me so so Rude. If staff don't what to work there find a better job . Not my problem . Restaurant look not the cleaner. Food poor and well understand ed Like a baby slop . Would struggle to give to a pig .

Had Sunday buffet today the onion bhaji and chicken tikka was out of this world, the curry's were good to, the people are nice and friendly will be going again next week.

First and last time ordering tonight from Shapla. My lamb rogan dish was appalling. There were raw onions and the smallest amount of lamb ever. It tasted like a weak onion soup. The other dish of king prawn dansak tasted fine but the prawns were tiny. King prawns they were not. Delivery was fine but the food was an absolute letdown.

Cracking takeaway I had a zag zala and rice and the owner was very friendly and welcoming

Food was lovely with generous portions. The place could be updated a little as it looks a little tired. Service a little slow but friendly.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have never seen or tasted any Indian food like this. Far too sweet and very runny. Chips tasted like they had been fried a week ago. The Tarka Dahl looked like soup 😳 onion bhaji acceptable. Rice ok I suppose. Keema naan was also the worst I have ever tasted. Poppadom was crispy. I would never ever go here.

The food quality is very poor, because they using lots of sugar and oil. It’s not healthy or unpleasant to humans.

Good food plenty stuff to eat reasonable prices. We went 1st of June for eat in unfortunately Google Maps didn't update the restaurants Dine in status. So you are definitely OK to eat in but have to wear face mask when you are hanging around in the restaurant.

There was a wait for the food but you can’t cook good food quickly and it was by far one of the best Indian meals I have tasted and easily the best locally.

Excellent takeaway, catered for very specific dietary needs for someone in our household who follows a vegan diet. Food was delicious and they were upfront and refunded us for food they could not make Vegan. Very much appreciated will being order again very soon as the service was outstanding and the food was outstanding thank you so much.

We all enjoyed our dinner and would highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and there is so much to choose from in the menu. The prices are reasonable. I recommend the Dhansak - absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely stunning food, had a large takeaway order and was blown away on how nice it was, very friendly staff, offered to bring my food to the car, gave a free bottle of coke and poppadoms and a Naan. Will definitely be visiting again, would highly recommend, Beautiful food, lovely, friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Although this restaurant hasn't been open long, we have been a few times. some during the week and a few times on a Sunday for the buffet. excellent service always and the food is good to. Sundays a buffet is £7.95 and adult and I'm sure it was £4.95 for a child.we will be back again soon. keep up the great food and service =)

Lovely food for the price not much out of selection but it is worth your money . Brilliant customer service and even ask you about your day and how your food is. Dessert or coffee also included in the Sunday buffeet . Food cooked to perfection and drinks are at a decent price too .

Amazing quality food and such friendly staff, I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The flavours that come through in the food are exquisite, enough heat to enjoy but still let all the different spices.

First time ordering here and will be ordering again very soon. Food was delicious... We had korma and pilau rice with naan. Onion bhaji was the best I've had yet! Kids very much enjoyed the dippers and chips too. Staff are lovely friendly people and that alone goes a long way. 5* from us and look forward to trying some new dishes. Thanks 😁

Absolutely loved it here, went for the sunday buffet, very tasty, they brought freshly cooked naan to the table. Choice of coffee or icecream for 2nd course. All for 7.95 staff friendly, will be back soon.

Been there 3 times since opening,food has been outstanding every time, lovely staff, wish them all the best, deserves to do well
