Food is absolutely delicious and restaurant is very smart, also do a great buffet on a Sunday. Highly recommended

*** If this review is helpful, give it a like! *** I just had a 10 out of 10 meal and felt compelled to leave a positive review; it was THAT good... 1) The quality of the food is a lot better than a couple of years ago. The Tikka Masala Sause is dark, and rich, and full of flavour, without being too sweet. It's in the Goldilocks Zone "it's just right". The chicken quality is better too. Marinated perfectly, falls apart in the mouth, and not "tough" to chew, it's just perfect. 2) The customer service is exceptional, the dude somehow manages to remember my preferences, even when I had forgotten to mention them myself! I like a lot of coriander, and I had forgotten to mention that when placing my order because it's been a while since I last had an Indian. So when delivering my food, he told me he'd remembered, and included a little pot of coriander for me, even though I'd forgotten to mention it! ...How do you remember all this, with hundreds of customers?? Amazing service! 3) There's one item which they don't official do any more, as it's off the menu for not being very popular, but I really miss it. Perfect customer service, he's kind enough to make them especially for me, because he knows how much I like them!! I won't say what it is, because I don't want to create extra work for them, by people seeing it mentioned here, and then asking for them. But needless to say amazing service for going the extra mile for me. Other take aways will just say no, which is why I will NEVER buy from the "Cubic" one, near Specsavers. They ignore notes/requests, and after spending literally £3,467 across 24 months there, they have zero customer loyalty. But Taj really make the effort to look after the customer. 4) The food is extreamly fresh. It's no secret that most places will prepare food ahead of time, and there may be a lot of preservatives in fast food places. I'm hypersensitive to things like that, and it's especially noticeable from the one indian that everyone says is the best, the one not too far from Home Bargains. But Taj, I didn't get that weird taste. So whatever they're doing, it's the right thing! 5) I'm not bloated! I usually feel really groggy and bloated after any take away, especially Indian food. But, I'm totally fine, some how? And I ate a load! But I feel great. I was expecting to feel high blood pressure, and possibly pass out to sleep... But nah, I'm great... I don't feel like him struggling to hold my food down, I feel properly satisfied! 6) I'm diabetic, type 2. And I monitor my sugar levels with a FreeStyle Libre 2. It shows more than just the number representing my blood sugar levels, as they are right now. They also show a graph, representing how quickly my sugar levels rise and fall. Usually high sugar/fat stuff like Indian, Chinese, and worst of all Dominos, causes my sugar levels to rise VERY quikly, and that looks like a steep line on the graph. However, while I've been typing this, I can see a fairly shallow increase, meaning that the ingredients they use, are better quality than other restaurants that I can compare with. The food contains less sugar than the average Indian restaurant/take away. 7) Extremely fast delivery, a d it was delivered by the same helpful guy who took my order, and remembered all my preferences, and went out of his way to help improve my experience. 8) Food was still VERY hot, despite me taking ages to get ready because I had something I needed to sort out before settling down for food, (10 to 15 mins). Which means the food was BOILING upon arrival. So yeah.... Really happy.... I hope the quality remains consistent, and my next order is just as amazing...!

The service was good, food was shocking, 2 spice category was NOT spicy, and £80 for food that wasn't up to the standard. 1st and last time we visit this restaurant.

Food is fantastic never let down by service or how polite every member of staff are. Even asked if they could make just a dairy free Korma, and they did and its beautiful. Highly recommend eating here, I can also comment on atmosphere, as its only delivery or collection. But does feel very warm and relaxed and great for a quite night out, or start your night

First time eating a takeaway from the Taj tonight which was recommended by a friend and I was very pleased with the service and the meal was top notch good amount of spice and when we asked for extra ingredients we had them 👌 we will definitely be back for more

We have been coming here for years each time that we come to Ammanford to visit my grandparent, and each time it’s delicious. Tonight it was particularly good - the service was great, the dishes themselves were superb, and the service was as attentive and friendly as ever. Although it was quiet inside, this was made up for with the great food and cobra - I can’t recommend enough for an Indian styled cuisine in Ammanford, and I will definitely be back. Thanks very much!

My friends and I decided to try this Indian restaurant. We were not disappointed. The service and food were excellent. We visited on a Sunday and chose our meals off the buffet menu. There was plenty of choice to chose from and when the food arrived it was fresh and piping hot. Looking on-line I saw many negative comments mainly about the delivery service. I can't comment on that but I highly recommend sitting-in for a meal. We will be going back.

Went for a takeaway to this place for a takeaway got home food missing when had food delivered it was stone cold please please people avoid this takeaway don't waste your money.

Amazing service, friendly staff and beautiful food. i live 20 minutes away and still only had to wait 45 minutes for our delivery. Brilliant Food.

Ordered a takeaway, supposed to arrive between an hour/an hour and 20mins, it didn't turn up at all, tried to phone them about 20times but they don't seem to like to answer the phone. Used a messaging service online, it said they had 'read' my messages, still no reply. I had to drive there to pick it up myself, very apologetic in all fairness, and the food was below average

Food was outstanding Most enjoyable meal I've had in along while from an Indian restaurant My son is not a big fan of Indian food asked straight away if we can come back next Sunday at the end So high praise indeed The lady makes a dry condiment that goes with poppadoms And it's really lovely never had that before but we love it And service was great The young lady was very polite and helpful Although we waited for our main meal as they was very busy with phone orders The food was definitely worth waiting for And can't thank them enough for the cobra glass really appreciated that

Food arrived late and cold, 4 pieces of prawns submerged in what I can only describe as a tin of tomatoes with loads of sugar, stone cold Naan bread and hard samosas. Total cost £21.80 PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT.

Food delivery made by a young couple in a van with a jack Russel dog in the vehicle surely this is totally against food hygiene regulations Disgusted , I work in the food industry and having animals near food is totally unacceptable

Absolute rubbish, food cold , poppadoms damp, and no naan bread ... Tried to ring but no answer, looking for a better Indian takeaway, anyone got any suggestions

This has to be one of the worst Indian restaurants / takeaways I have come across. We ordered our food, the person taking the order forgot to put down one of the items, we left with our order and realised that an item was missing, had a chip on the way back which were uncooked. Got back to the place and explained, he charged us the £3.95 for the missing item and then seemed delighted when he gave us a 95p discount for the bad service and inconvenience. We got home to find that the original chips had been put back in the fryer and cooked further, they were uneatable, the other food was bland tasteless and I was up with a bad stomach for 24hrs after eating it. I would avoid this place at all costs, we will never go back

Waited over an hour and a half for our food phoned got told it was on its way it arrived without the drink the chicken was tough chips were cold even the delivery drivers said that they're always doing mistakes absolutely gutted as it used to be my favourite indian

If I could give 0 stars I would. Food watery and tasteless and an hour late. Over two outs inveterate ordering and delivery. Do not order from here.
