Fabulous to see Taz back on the scene with his amazing memory and great customer service. We have just had our second curry from here sine he took over and it was amazing - I have the Pathia and my partner had the Passanda - there wasn't a scrap left on our plates ! Well cooked with loads of flavour and a nice heat from the Pathia. Bajis were amazing but 3 into 2 is a little difficult as we each wanted the larger half of the third. If Taz keeps this up it will continue to go from strength to strength - we will definitely be going back again and again.

Ordered at 6:45 and the food didn’t arrive until 8:45, when we rang to ask where the food was the woman was useless. When the order came it was missing items, rang again and she said she would send a driver with the missing food. Driver never turned up and we haven’t got a refund. Food was average.

Ordered online and had a very poor order delivered. Prawn Puree Starter - a minute amount in the tray. Less than 25% full, which arguably turned out to be a blessing as there was so much undercooked garlic in it that it was inedible. Nothing like how it usually is. Mixed kebab starter - horrendous. The lamb pieces were not just tiny but were all gristle. See pic. Inedible again. Keema rice - pretty much flavourless except for a horrible after taste. Like too much ghee was used. Madras - much darker than usual and didn’t taste great. Tiny pieces of chicken in it and very few of them. Not good. Very disappointing experience from a place that we have ordered from many times. I wouldn’t have guessed this came from Tava, such is the gap in quality from what they usually serve. It was so disgusting it’s gone straight in the bin. Just wish I’d taken more pictures to demonstrate how poor it was. 0/10.

Tried this place for the first time last night. I had chicken tikka starter with korma sauce, and my boyfriend had the madras. We also ordered pilau rice and a garlic naan as well as chips. Food arrived quickly and piping hot! Really tasty and my boyfriend doesn't usually like korma but he tried it and loved it! Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this place.

Whilst in the area we saw the Castle Tandoori and decided to have an evening meal. As a group of four we have as can be expected various tastes and various views. . We found the service very attentive and polite and the restaurant was very clean. We selected a variety of starters ,mains and sides and all tried most of the dishes we had. The food was excellent, great quality , very tasty and when we came to pay we found it was great value. There was far too much as the portions are very generous. Two of us had different Masala’s and although l had no problem my wife thought the colour was a brighter shade of red than she was expecting. This did not detract from what was a very good enjoyable meal. A very good evening.

We had coffees and they resembled dishwater, the worst ever flat whites with very little coffee. They were un drinkable and we certainly won’t be returning
