Oriental Tandoori in Wrexham

Excellent choice of food had a takeaway chicken balti naga chicken tandoori rice onion bahji and chicken with chips made up with the service the price and the quality

Ordered £30 of food including delivery to Ruabon. Ordered at 640pm and told 45 mins to 1 hour wait. No problem. No food 1 hour 30 mins later so called and was told 15 minutes. It arrived 20 minutes later so almost 2 hours not 45 minutes to 1 hour. And what a disappointment. Tikka Masala like no other. Huge pieces of dry chicken in a sauce without taste. Same for my partner's lamb masala. Inedible and now residing in our bin barely touched. I think the meat and sauces are just put together at last minute and have probably sat under a hot lamp for a few hours. Tasteless, dry and chewy. Sauces had a gritty texture that was not even compensated for by flavour. Avoid!

Ordered food at 5.50pm. Finally arrived at 7.55pm! When ordered I was told there was a 1 hour wait. After an hour and a half I rang to ask where our meals were. I was spoken to rudely and "told" 15 minutes. I explained if it was going to be longer please cancel the order. The phone was put down on me. Apologies from the lady driver once the food finally arrived. Upon unwrapping the meals they were cold and the naan breads were burnt to a crisp with hardly any filling or flavouring. Very Dissappointed. Last time I order from here.

The quality of the meals, friendly atmosphere or delivery are excellent and portions are generous which is great value also - They have never let us down! Highly recommended!!!

We ordered a delivery at 6pm that was due to arrive at 7pm. After nearly an hour and a half it arrived missing a main meal ( we ordered 4 curries and some sides not too complicated). I phoned and told them what I was missing and was told ‘it’s busy’ and the meal would not be delivered for 45 minutes. The attitude of the man on the phone was awful I was not offered an apology and I made to feel like an inconvenience, despite the fact it was them who had forgot the meal. He repeatedly asked me what they we’re supposed to do? So I asked the man to send the driver back with the money and he could take the food this was 5 minutes after the food had arrived, the driver can not have been that far away. He said he would return in 45 minutes so I said that was fine as I did not want the food anymore. After nearly an hour there was still no sign so I phoned again and a different man answered this man took rude to another level. I explained the situation and he proceeded to shout and tell me that I had had the food so what’s the problem. I explained the problem was we were missing a meal and after an hour nothing had been done. He did not once try and resolve the issue, he did not care, he had taken our money and that was that. We had not eaten the food as it was unfair for someone to be sat without for 45 minutes or for us to wait while the rest of the food got cold. The man on the phone persisted to suggest that we had eaten the food so ‘what you want?’i repeatedly said we had not eaten anything and that the food was all bagged up ready for our money back. They had no intention of giving us a refund and he continued to shout at me over the phone suggesting that it’s not his problem (still no apology) even asking sarcastically asking if I wanted to order anything else. I told the man on the phone if the were not prepared to bring us the money back I will take the food to them he said that was fine so I did. When I arrived at the takeaway the lady on the counter ( the only person in the place who had manners) told us that the missing meal was on the way. This was nearly 9pm, 2 hours after the original delivery slot and an hour and a half after the food had arrived. After explaining to the lady that the man on the phone had told me to bring the food back, she got him on the phone. Within 30 seconds the man who supposedly was on his way with our food was back. He grabbed the food off the counter without a word or a look in my direction and emptied the bag to check all food was there ( took 5 minutes or more) he then give us the exact amount. I told him we had given the the driver a tip and would like that money back too. Without a word to me he shouted at the lady to get the driver on the phone as he did not believe what I was saying. Again rude! The lady reassured him that we had left a tip and we finally got the full amount returned 3 hours after our order was taken. Not once was an apology offered not once was accountability taken. If the first man who answered the phone would have apologised and said we will get them meal out ASAP and send fresh chips I would have been happy even if it would have been 45 minutes, this was not offered I was told it was not their problem they were busy and we would wait. The way in which I was spoken to was awful - shouted at over the phone and then ignored in person. The food there is of a satisfactory standard usually but the arrogance of the men on the phone is awful. So if you order and it’s wrong or late be prepared to be met with an argument and no apology.

Always a pleasure to have food from here. Consistently good Recommended set meal for value Food can be quite spicy in comparison with others which I like but my partner doesn't.

Fantastic value for money and definitely enough for 2. You are able to make changes at a small cost. Beautiful food. Would recommend to anyone and they deliver! A very happy foodie.

Good delivery time. Nice food. Good range on the menu too which you can find online. Worth a visit. Cash on delivery only.

First visit to this place since i moved out of the village around 5 years ago but thought i will give it a try to my usual and was not disappointed food was excellent portions good and a very tasty meal all round will be going back very soon.

Placed order at 19:50 and was told 30 mins rang up after an hour of ordering and told he was nearly there. Hour and 20 mins after ordering food turns up, driver argues it's not late and food is cold. £30 wasted

This the best indian food we have had. It was delivered on time, piping hot and our friends were very impressed with the quality and taste. We would recommend this takeaway to people who appreciate good indian food.

Have been ordering from this takeaway since it opened and won't have tandoori from anywhere else. And they deliver too !one of my favourites is chicken tikka biryani lots of great currys to choose from and won't break the bank on price!

My family and I have been ordering from Oriental Tandoori for years and it is honestly the best Indian around. Great value and delicious food, staff are friendly and delivery times are speedy. Wonderful service!

Never had a bad takeaway from here - the oriental banquets is great value , any starter, any main, any side, any rice and any naan bread all this for £14.95

auténtica comida fantástica. porciones generosas y muy sabroso. El queso y cebolla Nan era increíble! El servicio fue estupendo y el personal no podía hacer más. Lo recomiendo sin duda alguna. Tengo una fiesta que viene pronto y sin duda volveré. Hay un montón de opciones y le confeccionar por la noche. La comida y el servicio.

The food is of a high standered good sized portion and there delivery service is of a good time with friendly staff so well worth a try
