The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wakefield Yorkshire and The Humber

So I walked in to collect my order, at the back of the shop were 2 members of staff, there were a big bucket which the staff member were squeezing meet probably chicken together with his bare hands, no gloves then putting it in a pan, be the last time I order from there.

Outstanding food and customer service and reasonable price high recommend and top guy who works there called Amaan that welcomes you and have a full conversation with you and he is a good guy.

My wife and I were visiting Horbury to attend my nephew's wife's 50th birthday and stayed at a great little Airbnb in Bank Street. The evening before the party we decided to go for an Indian meal. There were several to choose from but Shans was the closest. The restaurant area is unpretentious but the welcome was warm and sincere. I chose a chicken madras and having tasted some of the very best in Southsea, I really wasn't expecting much. What a surprise! It was delicious and my wife enjoyed her jalfrezi. The front of house gentleman was a genuine friendly guy and made our evening complete. Definitely recommend to BIR enthusiasts.

Absolutely garbage.. Donner kebab had 5 pieces of kebab meat and 3 pieces of chicken tikka. Absolutely ripped off...and that's supposedly is a sultan special kebab Place needs closing down.

After waiting nearly 2hrs for delivery we rang to ask how long delivery would be and was told very rudely on phone saying we’re too busy so cancelled your order, really arrogant and customer relation, well there was none

We’ve always had really nice food from Tasty Dish, however this order was not very nice at all the kebab was mushy with soggy naan and the curry was swimming in oil and definitely not a bhuna, taste and flavour of kebab very strange. The only thing eaten was the cheesy chips, really disappointing meal.

Been ordering from Noor for the last 2 month, never had a bad one. Stunning curries, excellent kebabs and find them to be cheaper than every other takeaway in the area. Would highly recommend!
