Ravi's in Wakefield

Dropped by while visiting the town from Manchester. These guys are absolutely amazing with the food and hospitality. Achar-curry tastes so delicious, I will visit again soon!

So I walked in to collect my order, at the back of the shop were 2 members of staff, there were a big bucket which the staff member were squeezing meet probably chicken together with his bare hands, no gloves then putting it in a pan, be the last time I order from there.

Waited over 1 hour,food arrived, naan and rice were cold,the Tika Masala was warm! Waste of £16,we put it in rubbish and was hungry...our weekly treat.Should not be putting out food for delivery if they are busy on Saturdays especially outside of Sharlston. The Tika Masala had no sauce,just pieces of chicken.more like salty brown rice than fresh pilau. Disappointed!! £16 down the drain..

Only just found out this place had opened in what used to be the Star of India (which I used for about 15 years). Thought I'd give it a try - we ordered 3 main dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious, and ready bang on time. I will definitely be going again, and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. This review is of the old Baburchi, now gone.
