Food was average service was terrible however the atmosphere was good given the time of year. It was also mentioned after the visit that the owner/s were in the local news. On wiltshire999s re highworth restaurant manager which was concerning so will not be going back.

Good place for the Indian foods,I like the chefs effort all the time he makes to feel you special. Also quantity and quality of food is recommendable. @ I am Rahul Singh from India we understand the Indian foods and I recommend it. Try it once.

I had a very disappointing experience today when I went to the restaurant with my wife and two kids. We were seated at table 1, but as soon as I sat down, I realized that the place was extremely hot and humid, making it difficult for me to breathe. The restaurant was overcrowded, with people standing next to me and no airflow. It felt like sitting in an oven. I had to ask the waiter for a menu because no one offered it to me. After waiting for 15 minutes, my food arrived, but my strawberry mocktail was missing. I asked one of the waiters to bring a fan or turn on the air conditioning, but they ignored my request. The heat made it hard for me to enjoy the food, so I asked them to pack it for me. It took them another 10 minutes to bring the packaged food. They didn't ask if everything was okay, but I overheard them asking other customers about their meals, which made me feel discriminated against. They also brought the cocktail when it was no longer useful. When I went to pay the bill, they served someone else in front of me and didn't ask about my experience. This was my first visit, and I will never return. I consider this place a health hazard and advise others to stay away.

Very plain and lacking any sophistication, but the food is just fab and it s very inexpensiveWeve been several times. The Everest and Base Camp curries and sweet and sour curry are just splendid and the Naans super.

Had the jumbo mixed sizzler and my word what an impressive meal it was. Having looked on here i was concerned as there were no reviews but wanted to give it a go and hopefully leave a first positive review for them. The meal reached me looking from what i can only assume in the condition it left. The meat was fantastic and the sauce unlike most kebab houses was plentiful. Salad to meat ratio was good and the onions and peppers were spot on. Highly recommended if you are after a kebab in the area. I also had the curly fries and onion rings. Under all the meat was a naan bread, in my opinion was much better than the usual pitta.

Relaxing, airy, pleasant outside space and a few across and over Drake Circus, and tops of Cornwall and Mayflower Streets toward the south and the bluffs. Medium prices for some good ish hot and cold meals not least the lunch plates.

I placed a takeout order for vegetable curry based on the picture from the online menu. What I received, while it tasted good, was not at all what was pictured. I was expecting cauliflower, carrot, and peppers, and instead I got potatoes and onions and maybe one pea. I guess if you like brown/beige food, you’ll like it. The paneer tikka starter also did not look like the picture on the menu. Very disappointed.

This is no longer roopanar it is now Yousufs and the food is ok when it finally arrives we waited over 2 hours it finally arrived with a mumbled apology from the driver, they need to learn customer relations a phone call to explain they had a shortage staff would be courtesy we won’t order from them again I shouldn’t have to chase them up several times
