Jolly porter St David's hill
Very plain and lacking any sophistication, but the food is just fab and it s very inexpensiveWeve been several times. The Everest and Base Camp curries and sweet and sour curry are just splendid and the Naans super.

156 Fore StSorry to say not a great experience. Took 30mins to order drinks. Being a busy sat early evening that may be excused but main portions were disappointing - 3 king prawns don't make a main portion even if you fill a large bowl with sauce; charging nearly £20 for that mean a portion can't be justified. Friends had similar problems with small amounts of meat in their main choices. Oddly the starters were reasonably sized and generally tasty, making the mains even more disappointing. Sauces lacked punch and freshness. Service was brusque and certainly nobody wanted to know if everything was OK, hence the need to write it here. I'm afraid I'll be getting my curry elsewhere in the future.
