Salam's Bar & Restaurant in Swindon

Food was average service was terrible however the atmosphere was good given the time of year. It was also mentioned after the visit that the owner/s were in the local news. On wiltshire999s re highworth restaurant manager which was concerning so will not be going back.

Very nice well cooked food and polite service. Such a shame they don't do offer one price buffet nights like others, as they would be packed out! It's main competition is very busy on Thursday eat all you like nights when they are empty. If they did I'd visit more often, hence 4 stars!

Food and atmosphere were great. At the end of the night the owner kindly drove us back to our hotel as there were no taxis!

Well ,nice greeting whilst on his phone , went early, nice clean ,waiter fine , got drinks fine, then ,,,, waiter stalked us ,every few minutes ready yet ready yet , we were there for a rare evening out. But we told him over and over we are looking what we wanted ,we had a 2 hour booking !! No push push , even stood in room looking out the window ,felt uncomfortable, not relaxed or happy made my daughter nervous to pick ,she spilt a drink , ruined everything. We ordered, food nice but again rushed , owner gave us our bill , rude when told him not right , still rude , no by your leave , no thankyou for spending £117 , pay then off you go , rude owner , waiter ok but when no one there stays at your table , honest with his pad and pen , owner rude , food good, not going back any time soon

An excellent meal , good service in pleasant surrundings. We went on a Wednesday night and were first to arrive as latest booking slot was 7 pm but the resturant started to fill up after we arrived
