The best restaurants serving Indian food in Hampton Richmond upon Thames London

A full glass of lager was spilled into my bag from a neighbouring table. As a result I didn’t get to enjoy my meal as I was trying to dry out my bag. The restaurant deducted £4 from our bill which I didn’t feel recognised the damage done. It took several days to dry out my bag.

If you are in the Twickenham, Hampton area this curry house is worth making a detour for. The small front entrance hides a larger interior where the decor is not flattering but the food is fabulous, The staff are friendly and helpful and you can even sit outside although October may not be the best time to try that. I can't think of a down side, and I often travel from central Twickenham where there are several good curry restaurants to eat there. Park along the road from there or walk from Hampton station. There is a handy pub opposite as well!

Good value, old school, no frills curry house. Tasty dishes, it pays to get familiar with the different dishes and order a selection of contrasting dishes. Absolutely lovely staff.

Worse takeaway I've ever ordered from I made an order on uber only to find the food rating was 2!!.. so very bad in terms of hygiene! Then I've seen online loads of bad reviews saying the place is disgusting so I wanted to cancel my order, they still charged me £22.55 when I spoke to the person in the restaurant he didn't care at all and did not sound at all bothered. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant as you may end up with food poisoning or worse if you have allergies they could contaminate your food. And taking money for food they didn't even make is also stealing, I will report this to my bank. Don't make the same mistake avoid this place at all costs loads of other lovely restaurants in hampton.

Outstanding food and service. In my opinion there are two excellent Indian restaurants in Hampton. This is my favourite. The Chicken Makani (madras hot) is stunning. Eaten here many, many times and it never dissapoints. Thank you and keep up the excellent work
