We are new to area so thought we would use our local restaurant. Unfortunately our first time was not a good experience. It was a cold evening and when we arrived we were shown to our table which was by the window but it was obviously heating haven't been put on long it was very cold and being sat by the window didn't help. We add some poppadoms and ordered our main meal. It was so cold we did not take our coats off and in the end we asked to be moved. We got moved to another table which was right by the door to the kitchen which wasn't very nice because the waiters were walking in and out of the kitchen and it wasn't very private we felt we couldn't talk properly. My main course was ok but my partner had chicken tikka unfortunately it was very dry and chicken quite rubbery. I appreciate it was a cold evening but surely put the heat in on the long before people start to arrive probably won't return

"Asian" seems a bit misleading, this is, as far as I understand, solely Indian restaurant. But a good one, definitely. Butter chicken was excellent.

The New Asia has been a feature of the Earls Court restaurant scene since the 1950s but sadly I found it wanting. I had dinner there on Saturday, 28th September and there isn't much I could recommend. First, I found the manner of the older gentleman, presumably the proprietor, to be rather offhand and not really welcoming at all. Secondly, to my surprise there was no hot tea on the menu - only cold and fizzy drinks. Finally, the plain naan I ordered was so severely burnt that it was impossible to eat. I wanted to point that out but as nobody seemed to be interested to enquire how the diners were enjoying their food, I let it pass. The main course was the only redeeming feature but even that won't make me go back.
