The best restaurants serving Indian food in Islington London

I’m writing an honest review. The chicken tandoori is excellent but too salty. The food is very good but it appears overcooked and mushy for some dishes, like the Biryani’s vegetable curry. Just a note to say some dishes are too salty and so difficult to eat. It’s better to be under-salted than over-salted. The service is excellent and food is made with kindness but too salty. This review is for food that is delivered. I hope this helps. Update - Found hair in the food. Sorry but won’t be ordering again.

Nice little indian restaurant . They were kind enough to take it easy on the chillies as I've been to a few Indians and have found there food way too spicy. The lamb was cooked very well and I really enjoyed the indian style desserts.

Ordered Vegetable samosas. Got meat samosas. What if I was a vegetarian?

Best chicken masala and the flakiest paratha - super delicious. Decent wine and the staff were also a vibe. Would deffo go again. :)

Great food at very reasonable prices. Staff are very attentive and they have lovely white linen napkins and table cloths!

I cannot travel to London without stopping here. Their Indian-style burritos are out of this world delicious. It is an easy walking distance from the Angel tube station. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants in London and in India and I can honestly say this is one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. It is incredibly fresh, traditional and very tasty. Exceptional!

Made to pay the 10% ‘discretionary’ charge. When challenged got a shrug of the shoulders and told to pay it. Run out of onion bhajis, run out of beer all together and the garlic in the garlic rice was very chewy. Pretty Average!

Went for a Sunday afternoon. There was singing from a group there. By the fire, good bar choice & service. Do try the Crisps & the various shaken flavours! Spudos !!

Excellent service, excellent food and great value. Sunday banquet meal enjoyed by all of us. Will definitely return again when we are this way again.

1 . Excelente relación calidad-precio. Tenía una comida para dos, un par de entrantes, lados, comidas principales con un arroz, y era solo £ 30. Tan barato. 2 . Gran sabor, muy sabroso. Pero ten en cuenta que es picante. Esto me sorprendió. Incluso el bhaji de cebolla estaba picante, lo que nunca había experimentado antes. Disgusting food, staff shouting on their phone making calls. Can get much better quality down the road in Drummond Street (near Warren Street tube) and worth the effort if you want to feel good as you dine. Avoid this rubbish place if you can.
