The best restaurants serving Indian food in Peninsula Greenwich London

Afternoon Tea- "Chai by the Shore" I was a little apprehensive at the idea of an Afternoon Tea with an ‘indian accent’ to treat my niece, visiting me from Bordeaux. But ‘Chai by the Shore’ was a most delightful experience. The Kinaara room was light an airy with impressive river views. The service was attentive and professional ,but not over formal or intimidating. The food was delicate and beautifully presented. All in all it was a most unusual enjoyable afternoon and a treat, having travelled to the O2/Intercontinental by Thames clipper boat. I will be repeating the experience in the summer with another appreciative French visitor.

I use this place quite regularly for take a away curries. Only once have I had a bad, if you can call it bad in that the curry was slightly burnt but edible.

El O 2 está lleno de restaurantes. Muchos restaurantes italianos y hamburgueserías llenan el lugar. Nos topamos con Scarlet, el único restaurante indio en el O 2 , y solo tuvimos que probarlo. Había una cola constante de gente esperando, aunque esto se movió bastante rápido. El primer punto a tener en cuenta es que el servicio es amable pero un poco caótico - unos 4 camareros diferentes trataron de tomar nuestro pedido, pero realmente no nos importó. Fuimos directamente a la red, pidiendo un shashlik de pollo y un masala de mantequilla de pollo, con un par de lados. Mi orden era la última y oh, Dios mío. Sabía increíble. Tan dulce. Lo devoré, junto con el ajo que pedí. La próxima vez que vaya al O 2 para un evento o espectáculo, definitivamente me pasaré por Scarlet para comer algo!

Genial, sabroso y amigable con las verduras! Recomiendo probar las dosas y aperitivos vegetales. El mejor lugar del sur de la India en el barrio.

Great food, would go again in a heartbeat. Good pub nearby too. Better than the ones over in brick lane
