Este pequeño restaurante podría haber sido sacado directamente de Kerala y arrojado a Trafalgar Road. Lo único que le falta es el calor y el sonido de los rickshaws. La comida aquí es perfecta, casi mejor que la comida de mi madre (ella me mataría si dijera que era mejor) y el ambiente es bastante representativo de una casa de kerala. La comida está muy bien de precio y quizás sea un sabor adquirido, ya que la comida del sur de la India no es muy común en el Reino Unido. Los mejores platos son el curry de huevo, el asado de huevo, el curry de pollo, la fritura de res con cebolla, los parathas de kerala y los pasteles de lentejas son encantadores. ¡Todo aquí es genial! Un locale piccolissimo nel quartiere londinese di Greenwich, come ce ne sono tantissimi, di tutti i Paesi. Qui ho pranzato davvero come a casa, un semplice riso con verdure miste e legumi e una deliziosa salsina allo yogurt: tutto freschissimo, cucinato con cura, leggero, insomma eccellente e perfetto per chi viaggia. Avevano comunque moltissimi piatti e ottime zuppe di legumi. Pulizia perfetta e grande gentilezza. Ho speso solo 6 sterline per un piatto molto abbondante, più l'acqua minerale, seduta al tavolo apparecchiato con la tovaglia.

Mi novio y me encanta este agradable restaurante sin pretensiones y sin adornos del sur de India y vienen aquí por lo menos una vez cada par de meses.

Tenía un encantador almuerzo aquí. Yo estaba de vacaciones en el sur de la India, a principios de año y quería mi comida favorita, el propietario fue muy servicial e incluso nos dijo que había pedido demasiado. Estoy celiaquía así tiene que evitar todo sin gluten y es justo decir que el propietario no estaba estaba al tanto, pero la comida del sur de la india es el arroz basado en trigo basada por lo que salimos a través sabía lo que había comido en el sur de la India, era sin gluten así que pedimos (vada, Instituto promueven y masala dosa). La masala dosa era enorme y muy sabrosa. No tome el riesgo de contaminación cruzada. Me hubiera dado una calificación de 5 estrellas por la comida, sólo sacabas volver por la preocupación acerca de gluten. Y sí, el entorno no son lujosas, pero su honesta, no pretendía ser algo que no es, y no digo que la comida era maravillosa?

If you like your curry spicy this is the place for you, even the korma has a bite to it. But food is authentic and tasty.

Good delivery service and we are now regulars. Prices have recently increased but it's still good value and delicious. Also eaten in but the cafe atmosphere could be upgraded. It's BYOB.

This is in effect a café albeit with very good authentic Kerala food. The interior deco is not dissimilar to what one will find in a small restaurant in Kerala. Blue is the colour !

I've been going to this place and ordering from them for several years (and it has been known as Kerala Village in the past. The owner mans the shop and does all the cooking with some help.

Yo le daría a este restaurante cero estrellas si es posible! Pedimos una entrega a casa del Restaurante Pathiri Greenwich a las 6 de la tarde de hoy. La comida fue entregado aproximadamente una hora más tarde, pero nuestra una porción de arroz pilau no estaba en la entrega de maletas. Pagamos 30 libras. 20 efectivo en total. Nos llamó inmediatamente al hombre de la entrega, pero estuvo realmente grosero, y nos pidió que en contacto con el restaurante, ya que no es su negocio. Luego nos llamó inmediatamente al restaurante, que no eran siquiera se disculpó e insistieron que el pilau arroz debería haber sido en la bolsa. Teníamos la bolsa de vaciado y no había arroz pilau. Nos quejamos de que es poco profesional y que no cobran por la comida de los clientes que no se entregó, y luego decir que el dinero no será devuelto. El gerente del restaurante, simplemente nos colgó sin ninguna disculpa! Entendemos que es sólo 2 libras. 75 pero esto no es cómo un restaurante debe tratar a sus clientes. Donde es el servicio al cliente? ! Debería ser un montón completo de tramposos y evitar este restaurante como de la peste. Nunca he visto un restaurante más descarados, poco profesional y deshonesto en Londres antes! Muy decepcionado, y arruinaron completamente nuestra cena familiar (en especial de mi hijo ya que había ordenado la una porción de arroz pilau para ella) y nuestra noche de viernes! He pegado el recibo de entrega del restaurante como evidencia.

Tener sólo visitamos para llevar, este restaurante del sur de la india proporciona con una fiesta potente de sabor. Hemos tenido mejor pero el curry biryanis fue excepcional. Se ha convertido en nuestro lugar para ir a la India para llevar.

Nos quedamos muy contentos de encontrar este excelente restaurante que sirve la mejor Dosa tengo desde Kerala. Muy bien cocinadas con lados y el masala picante pero no era alto. A la izquierda se sienta la calidez de la muy buena especias. El servicio era excelente y estaba muy bien de precio. Sin duda volveré de nuevo.

I have been coming here for years and recently went in for the weekend lunch Thali special- amazing lunch, so good in-fact we've eaten in here two weekends in a row!

Visited this place after seeing an add for sadya (kerala meals). Booked this place in advance, but reached there earlier, very small place ,really congested, they could not accommodate us earlier and no space to sit inside and ended up looking for a place to spend one hour but there wasn't any. Ended up waiting for an hour outside with our baby ,really annoying. At the end ,we got a seat , must say sadya was excellent , but not many people to serve so could not enjoy much. They make good food but doesnt care about customers, so not impressed with service.

After searching for a good South Indian Place around Greenwich, we came across Pathiri. If you prefer a typical Indian meal, this is not for you. There are plenty of other Indian-Nepalese restaurants around if your conception of Indian food is shaped by ubiquitous Punjabi food in the UK. However, if you would like to get acquainted with Southern India, where we mercilessly add coconut into all our dishes, you are in the right place. The decor of the place is not that great, which made my friend and I to search for something else, but thanks to the odd timing (4.15-4.30 pm, all restaurants close around 3 and open at 5 in the area) Pathiri was the only place open. However, we were grateful for the food that was beyond our expectation. My friend ordered Chicken and Kerala Paratha, which he said was great! I, being an occasional Pescatarian, overcome with homesickness, ordered a Masala Dosa and Kappa with Fish curry which were delicious. Despite not being a huge fan of Tapioca, I loved it. When it was too much, the owner kindly agreed to pack it for me. Overall, it was good food for a rainy day weekend.

This a small family run business serving authentic Keralan food. If you want a standard Indian menu (rogan josh; tikka masala; etc) then it's probably not for you. If you're a little more adventurous then Pathiri provides some interesting dishes and is great value. 8 of us ate as much food as we could eat and it was only £15 per ahead. It helps the restaurant is a BYO so the beer & wine we purchased at the Tesco down the road.

Went on a Friday evening. Menu was extensive and everything ordered was hot, tasty and authentic. There was no alcohol on offer which wasn't ideal with a curry so opted for tap water. Service was good although it should be noted we were the only customers. Would go again as good was decent but maybe not the place for a Friday night out treat meal. (The rating is for the food).

We came here on a Saturday for lunchtime and had quite high expectations. It didn't start very well when the waiter was being a bit pushy and kept insisted that we sit down when all we initially wanted to do is browse the menu. We then ordered a Vegetarian Thali each (£9.00 each) and one Mango Lassi (£3.00). The Thali consisted of 10 dishes that were all freshly made and did seem to have a lot of effort behind them, but they simply just didn't stand out for us. They need to be more distinguished in taste.Also, the Lassi wasn't prepared very well and you could feel the bits of unmelted sugar in it. Service overall was friendly and attentive.Overall: Average.

Dont be put off by the rather spartan looking exterior. Very friendly service, great food and great prices. No alcohol on sale but very welcome to supply your own and two or three outlets nearby. If you dont know Kerala Cuisine this is a great place to try it

My daughter lives nearby and recommended this restaurant to us. We have been before under previous management, however, it is different gravy now (excuse the pun) the owner is a great guy, very helpful and as the place was full when we arrived, he coped magnificently. The food is fresh, plentiful and authentic. We have been to Kerela and this place replicates the food very well. We had some lovely dishes, flavoursome, spicy and fresh. Really what else can you ask for!! They don't have alcohol licence, however there are local supermarkets, so we took our own beer & wine.They do takeaway, and despite the fact it was full we got our food at a pace that would be the envy of a lot of restaurants. Great for veggies, and meat eaters alike, my daughter says the fish dishes are delicious. Give it a try!!

If you are in Greenwich and wish to try Indian, I definitely recommend this Kerala restaurant, especially to try South Indian fare.Since the new management, each rating has gone slightly down, so don't be afraid to shout. However the menu is still excellent.It is often difficult in Indian restaurants to get excellent and imaginative fish dishes - as opposed to prawn, etc - and this alone is sufficient for a recommendation at Pathiri.I have been a long-standing customer here, and I have often had interesting and intelligent conversations with the management.

We had good starters;Simple pappadums and tasty chutneys and Uzhunu Vada; the vada were authentic and very tasty.For a main course we had Dosa which are our favourite South Indian dish. The Masala Dosa and Paneer masala dosa were excellent. The plate was the size of a metal cafeteria tray! Huge dosa and good accompaniments. We enjoyed our meal and had a Cheera parippu(Spinach Daal) to go with it. The service was very good and we will be back. At weekends they also have a special Thali menu from 12 noon to 5 pm. Recommended.

Initially was sceptical about the delivery delays , but quite pleased was delivered exactly in time . nobody's complained about the taste and rightly so , I am frm this part of the region and the food was spot on . def buying again . Although seemingly pricey - this is literally the best Indian I have ever tasted (other than being in India!) Really top quality ingredients, unusual dishes I'd never heard of - so I experimented and so glad I did. Delivery man was pleasant and friendly. Well worth the wait. I shall start saving up for my next meal with them, and would definitely consider visiting their restaurant for a special occasion.

Have ordered takeaway from this restaurant several times before. It's actually the only restaurant in this area with authentic South Indian items on the menu, so I was keen to see if it was good, but unfortunately 2 out 3 times I have used this place the food was not good quality. A simple thing like the coconut chutney tasting spoilt (owing to it not being refrigerated properly and reused!), spoils your whole experience of a simple food like a dosa or idli (also sambar was bland). Also, maybe it's the area but the items are pricy for the quantity/quality offered really, compared to my experience of other similar south indian restaurants in London. It's a shame but I will not be using this restaurant again. Better to travel bit further for better quality South Indian food.

Food used to be excellent buy now its just not up to the mark!Been there with family last night.. Food was just to the expected standard.Malabar men curry (spicy fish curry) was so spicy it wasn't edible...Chicken curry was sweet - this isn't south Indian cuisine at all!!Fish cutlet was nice and fresh but lacked salt!!Appam (rice pancakes) were so delayed that the last portion didn't arrive till we had finished.. Also it was burnt and quite tough to eat!!Over and above that, the service was still too slow and lack of attention to customers.. We felt neglected and hence there seems to be w decline in the clientele..Hope they see the responses and customer reviews and change for the better as they do cook good fresh food most times..!!

I knw it takes a while to prepare kerala dish. But they made and delivered in an hour! I know 1 hr is too late when hungry.but its worth a wait as they made enough meal for 2 ppl fr dinner+lunch(the quantity is good).after Kayal,Nottingham this must be only place to get good quality kerala dish but cheaper than Kayal menu!!enjoyed food and willing to order agaon.I dont mind to wait 2 hrs next time!

Very slow. Food delivered after 2 hours! Driver disappeared and was not reachable. Then turned up with lame excuses. Pathetic service Food wasnt good either

As an Indian , I'd say I'm fussy when it comes to the cuisine.I have come a few times now and have been very happy the food on everyOccasion.I'd recommend the Dosa!

I could have been in a pure veg lunch cafe on the Malabar coast, it was so true to Keralan food. I went on a whim having got sick of traffic near the Blackwell tunnel and I was so glad I did as it's going to be on fixture list whenever I'm in south east LDN. It was the Keralan festival when I went so they recommended the veg thali, which involved (no joke) about 15 different and beautifully spiced dishes served on a banana leaf with rice, about 4 delicious pickles/chutneys and a poppadom. It was lovely and so nice to have such food in London, which wasn't a watered down version of south Indian cuisine. Massive respect to the owners, long may they succeed!

Nearly didn't go in because of the look of the place, it resembles a cafe or takeaway,but I'm really really pleased we did. The food was fantastic, well worth a try and I'd definitely go back.

I am from Kerala and know my Malayalee food and for me this is it. This is the real thing. Love the new menu. Now I don't need to go to one of the Rasas or Quilon or trek to East Ham when I crave for authentic South Indian food. One suggestion would be to add a description of each dish in English for those uninitiated into South Indian food. You might want to ask for a lower spice level if you have a delicate palate but for me it was perfect. Similar to what you get on a thattu kada(street food) in Kerala.

Being from Kerala I love South Indian food. The food was average I would say - nice flavours but poor quality meat. However the delivery was terrible !! From clicking order on Just-Eat, it took 3hrs to arrive (plus 3 phone calls). Yes 3 hours !! Won't be using again. East Ham Kerala restaurants are much better for taste too.

went for the Onam celebration and the Kerela dishes were lovely, it is a surprise that such a small place tucked in between big restaurant could produce authentic dishes from Kerela.A message for the management, a selection of few bottles of white wine will do

Visited this restaurant because we love South Indian / Sri Lankan cuisine and we could not find anywhere else nearby serving it. The look of this restaurant is very unappealing, it looks more like a cafe and we had very low expectations. However the staff were really helpful and the chef informative. When our food arrived it was delicious. The dosa was so light, crispy and tasty. The sambal was perfectly spiced. The Kerala paratha was by far the best I have every had in an Indian restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. My only negative comment would be about the decor. They really need to sort out not only the kerb appeal but the interior. However if you want to eat authentic South Indian food and can forgive basic surroundings then this is the place.

Never received the food - ordered at 7:35 PM and already 9:35. Restaurant not answering the phone call either

Very poor delivery. They did not deliver the main course. Called them twice they said they are coming to deliver but never turned up. Not a word and not reimbursed. Not trustworthy.

My other half and I went for dinner here yesterday. The restaurant is now called "Pathiri" but still serves the same Kerala cuisine. The interior has just been redecorated, and is now a cheerful pale blue - all pleasant enough. The restaurant was quiet on a Wednesday night - mostly takeaway trade by the looks of it.Really interesting menu, with huge numbers of unusual dishes - quite a change from "ordinary" curry houses. The waiter was really nice and friendly, and helped us navigate the options!We had "snacks & pickle" to start (various fried banana and poppadom-type nibbles with chutneys), and orderer mutton fry, plain dosa (like a pancake with dips), idlis (like steamed buns), chana masala, paneer masala and cheera thoran (spinach and coconut).It turns out that this is far too much food for two people to share! We ate about half of it and have the other half in boxes in the fridge now. Excellent value!The food was delicious - I especially enjoyed the mutton fry, which is rather like Malaysian rendang; it was utterly amazing. Also the masala dishes had coconut milk in them which meant they were much thicker (and more filling!) than usual - so so tasty!My only gripe, which is minor, is that the drinks selection wasn't great. It's fine for lager drinkers (cold Cobra!) but the wine selection was disappointing - an almost empty bottle of Pinot Grigio, and I think they were out of red. If they can fix this then they'll get five stars!Generally, very lovely experience - especially with the staff being so nice, and the food being outstanding. Will try them for takeaway soon -- once we've chomped our way through our current doggy bag!

Really really good food. A shame that the menu doesn't have a breakdown of what the food actually is ( I had to look it up on the net) but everything about the food is authentic and great.

Delayed by 45 minutes (rang up 5 minutes after expected delivery time and the food hadn't left the restaurant yet!!) - which meant the food wasn't piping hot - Also the Punky Toy wasn't delivered :-(

Stopped here on a Monday lunchtime expecting it to be very quiet. It was quite busy for a Monday with both tourists and locals, the restaurant is basic but the staff and chef were very attentive and food surprisingly very good and filling.Can't remember the name of it, but I had the dry lamb curry with lemon rice and my partner had the fish curry..couldn't fault it.He took his friend last night and chatted with the chef in that he was trying hard to make money to go back to Kerala.On the 28/29 and 30th Aug he said it's Kerala festival so book a tableTry it

Compared the 3 and half star reviews, the quality and variety of food is way better. Try their Mutton Masala Dosha.

The management had changed a week before we had gone. My wife is from Kerala and I have tasted enough Kerala dishes too to say that the food is very authentic. Not London-ized to suit the taste buds of foreigners. We had the Kappa & Fish curry, King fish fry, chapati and Chicken Pathiri. The chicken pathiri was a London-ized version which they did tell us. But just to get what is this local version, we tried it too. All the dishes were good! Definitely a must visit place if you want some spice that is not created using sauce.

Food took a while, but it was exactly as the delivery time suggested (1hr 15m). But. Everything was delicious. Can't fault one part of that meal and I will definitely be ordering again.

Excellent dosa and vada. Gobi could have been better.
