The food is always very nice. irrespective of the chosen dishes, everything taste amazing.

Food good, only thing that let it down was 2 x mint sauces ordered were missing from order.

Worst curry ever had waited 2 hours for it and was swimming in water. Man on the phone said it would be 10 min an hour and 20 min later it showed up after calling them 5 times. WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT EAT FROM HERE

Said delivery was on the way the delivery driver had taken it to another address which wasn't mine when it arrived my kurma had been spilt everywhere lost half my dish !!

Updated review - Very nice food at a reasonable price. Normally deliver within the ETA window and food arrives hot. The only reason I can’t give them 5 stars is that they recently removed some menu items, one of which was my favourite curry. Also as a vegetarian it is disappointing that none of the specials are available with a vegetarian option.

This is the best Indian by far. Great food, tastes really nice and always hot when it arrives.

We used to love the Curry Garden, but the quality has dropped in our last few visits. The amount of meat in the dishes has been cut till it's almost all sauce, and the onion bhajis aren't as good as they were. It seems that they have been concentrating on holding down their prices, but this has now started to be at the expense of quality. Their prices are cheap, but we have now started going elsewhere, even though it costs more. I hope that they do soon get back to their old stanards.

OK but Murg anawaka not saucy but still tasty

I have always had a very good experience historically and used this outlet on and off for many years however my recent experience was very disappointing. My key favourite dish is a tandoori mixed grill and this had a charred and completely burnt prawn that was inedible, the chicken leg and thigh piece was also burnt black down one side. The annoying thing was it was covered in onion almost like it was being hidden. I won’t return because of this - the rice used is also cheap quality and disappointing. The samosas which I hadn’t had before were literally so small like the size of a fortune cookie - maybe they changed their chef but it was a let down. Thanks for visiting. The Chicken Manchuri is amazing

Easy to order online and delivered within the given time. You can call to order your food too. The staff are friendly and are able to adjust the meals for dietary requirements. The food is flavoursome and it’s my family’s choice of Indian take-away.

Wow talk about reduced portion size! I understand inflation and prices goes up but they have reduced the amount of chicken too! Smaller chicken bits and much less! Not ordering again

Someone said in the last review that he got 8 pieces of chicken in the curry. I would say he was lucky. We ordered take away tonight and there were only FOUR small pieces! Are you kidding me??? First and last time to order from this restaurant!

Lovely food but nann bread doughy

Wow.. tikka masala is lovely as well as Bombay potatoes. My only issue is the mint sauce it has a bit of a mango taste to it. But I can live with that as it’s only a condiment so I make my own. Would 100% order from here again

Used Curry Garden a lot in the past and never had an issue, but we had two Chicken Korma’s delivered last night. My partner was dishing the kormas up and when she cut in to the chicken, it was still pink in the middle. I called the restaurant and he said there is nothing wrong with the chicken and it doesn’t matter if it is pink. He offered to deliver two new dishes but now we didn’t particularly trust that the new dishes would be okay so we declined. They wouldn’t offer a refund and said they would “sort us out” on the next visit, why would I revisit a curry house that serves undercooked chicken and tries to say that it’s fine to eat? We ended up driving to the restaurant and he refused to even have a look at photos of the chicken, and eventually refunded the two kormas. Used to be great here but gone down hill and wouldn’t recommend. Will definitely be going elsewhere.

Lovely food arrived on time first time ordering

Bit disappointed with a deliveroo delivery. The restaurant had to ring me to tell me to spend more money. Deliveroo think the app should’ve told me before they took my money. Was quite late to look elsewhere so I stumped up for an extra dish. Most of the food was good but the I’m used to onion Bhaji coming with mint sauce. This didn’t and it’s quite a dull dish without it. Flavours in my my Madras dish were good though.

Excellent food. Shame minimum delivery is going up so likely to be my last order.

i was called by the restaurant and asked to pay them 2 pounds more because i did not reach there minimum order . but just eat accepted the booking 15% off promotion included. it left a sour taste to the meal

I have ordered lots of times from this curry house. It used to be a fabulous place. It is always busy when you ring up but then again that's popularity for you. I ordered a curry for my family last night, was surprised me is that the prices have gone up so much, I won't be buying from there again. It's just too expensive. We are not adventurous people and we know what we like. I order our meal which at 7pm I was told it would be delivered within the hour. At 8.20 I ring up again and ask where the food is, I get told "I am waiting for the driver to come back" but the food turned up not long after the phone went down. It cost £48 when it usually cost around £35 mark. The curry was not hot, the rice was not hot, everything was just warm. Clearly this had been cooked a while ago and left for pick up but food in foil trays stays hot for a while but this was not good and I am not happy. When you ring you get the attention of the person on the phone until the pick up the other line and asks the others to hang on. I think this curry house is driven more by sales and less by customer service. It used to be a fantastic place, now it's mediocre at best! I won't order from there again

Had a range of vegetarian dishes with roti and my partner had naan. They made the bread dry as requested and food was very tasty.

Used to live locally and have used this place since it opened and pop by when in the area. The Thali meals are a good selection and the veggie selection is great with more than enough for two people. The chicken jalfrezi is top notch and my favourite lamb shatkora (hot and with Sylheti lime). Yes they get busy and yes you may have to wait, but it's still the best takeaway I have had in Southeast London. Long may it continue and I will update every time I visit.

Just finished a great meal from 'The Curry Garden'. Delivery was on time and the food fresh and hot. Very tasty indeed and plentiful, Will most certainly order from here again. Only problem was the on-line ordering site failed, and I had to 'phone the order through directly to the restaurant directly, but that was no real bother. Thanks and well done to The Curry Garden!!

Appalling delivery service, arrived late and cold

WASTE OF MONEY only curry place that will charge you full price for a curry and give you 8 miniature pieces of chicken in the curry, absolutely ridiculous, my patner finished his in literally 2 mins, rip off, go somewhere they'll actually give you what you pay for

I have lived in this area for 20 years and gone to this business now and again, this is the last time they will receive my custom. I ordered two separate portions of rice, lots of poppadum's, Bombay aloo and chicken tikka masala, The curry had 8 ( very small ) pieces of chicken in it.... I called them to ask whats going on with this and he stopped me and said "its a curry for one, we been doing it this size for 20 years". I've lived here for about that amount of time so I know that's untruthful. And I have eaten from many take aways in the area and thats a full on cop out. They took advantage of the fact we were ordering directly. If they had an order form just eat/ubereats/deliveroo. They would make the portion better through fear of having their order complained about which is taken more seriously when 3rd party company involved. Just don't waste your money with these guys. Im a medium sized middle aged man. 4 little pieces of chicken does not fill me up.... The curry is not for one person because we have got a lot of takeaways and we always share a curry. If the restaurant is not cheap or p**s taking them we are always full up.. As mentioned we tried to call them to rectify but they care only about the money not the bad reviews they will get. No problem! All my friends and family will put their reviews. You have no phone number if you want to further explain how 8 small pieces of chicken in a curry is acceptable. Though I suggest you just leave me alone as you have made me a hungry man tonight! Awful.

Since moving to the area we were so pleased to have this down the road. Excellent curries, great portions. Order from them directly if you can. Highly recommend the butter chicken, sag, meat samosas and they have the best mint sauce!! Camilla

Tried for the first time tonight, sadly had wrong curry delivered with order rung and got an apology and said they would deliver a whole new order yet when new delivery came only curry so had to heat up rest of food before eating but have to say food was nice.

Great food as always. They were very busy and didn’t update delivery time though.

We used them because they do their own deliveries rather than use Just Eat, Deliveroo or Uber. Ordering using the App was simple and clear and our food arrived 45mins later well packaged and reasonably hot. Most of the food was lovely, tasty and good size portions. However we ordered a King Prawn Balti and got chicken - which was ok accept we paid £10.50 for the King Prawn as opposed to £7.50 for chicken and my sons Chicken Madras described as ‘fairly hot’ was inedibly hot. More vindaloo than madras. He couldn’t eat it. Everything else was very nice.

I ordered a home delivery from curry garden on the 1st February Saturday, I can assure you they have the tastiest curries in Eltham and they delivery service is very fast, I was very impressed with their service and will order again

Food tastes amazing, I am a regular customer, but food never arrives, it takes about 3 hours to actually get to my house if it ever does!!!

Have been using curry garden for the past 20 years on and off but for the 5 past years have only used curry garden. Sometimes it is a bit hit and miss but overall usually good BUT TONIGHT HAS GOT TO BE THE WORSE. Waited 1hr 10 mins for delivery, when it arrived, all four meals had to be microwaved, the breads were all cold as well, which don’t microwave very well. Rang to let them know, was told they will speak to driver, not heard back, the bag had wrong door number on. It was that bad, not sure we want to risk another meal, which is a shame.

Nice curry here. Good flavour and nice and spicy. Reasonably priced and quick service.

The food was tasty. I liked that I made a small mistake on my order online that I didn't spot but someone rang me from the restaurant to go over the order. Friendly delivery service too. :)

Not bad, not great, huge portions, friendly service. I had a Dansak and I found the chicken dry but it was a generous helping. Naan breads are a bit soggy.
