Literally the best take away food ever !! Such amazingly delicious curry.

Waited just under 2 hours to get my food from when the order was placed, no communication from the restaurant and then when it did arrive it was cold. Really not good enough.

Tasty! Much better than other Indian takeout I’ve tried around the area!

Quality of food was very bad could hardly eat anything

Food too spicy and quality is not good as the name suggests from reviews etc. Not good value for money. Driver forgot to bring the bottle of coke 1.5l that I ordered for £3.00 and he had to make another run to restaurant to fetch it for me!

Absolutely love the food. Spot on everytime. Only negative the deliver guy seems a bit miserable. Other than that will order again for sure.

Food arrived 30 mins later than estimated, and was pretty much stone cold. Makhani murgh (butter chicken) tasted nothing like it should - was more of a generic chicken curry without much flavour. Ordered 'extra poppadoms' - received a bag of smashed crumbs. This used to be the best Indian takeaway in the area a year or so ago. Won't be ordering again.

Appalling. Terrible service. Terrible communication over 400 calls with only 2 answered, and then lied to. Tried to get some answers via the app, to find that the restaurant isn’t closing orders so refunds can’t be given. Appalling!!! Will NOT order again.

Turned up incredibly late & cold.

Thanks to its location, this little restaurant should be killing it with its take on Indian cuisine. Sadly, it's not. Like other diners who have left recent reviews, the time taken from order to table was incredibly long. And then end-product when it arrived was disappointing. Bland, tasteless and, I suspect, cooked without much soul. Doesn't really matter what I ordered, I suspect it would the same with an alternative dish. Not worth it I'm sorry to say.

Was made to believe we are lucky to be offered a table at 17:30 and told that we should finish our meal within an hour. Was told we had to order the entire meal immediately when we were seated when I asked for starters.

In the area often and have visited Mogul in multiple occasions with clients. Food is very nice, service is great and speedy when we are in a rush. Jamal served us and was very good.

The staff were great and downstairs in the “cellar” is great. A prawn puri starter was pretty good, at least they used a few big prawns not the little shrimp. But the chicken jalfezi was poor Little bits of chicken that were tasteless in a sauce that i think had just been poured on top. Plus a brinjhal bahji that was inedible salty.

Visité anoche ya que siempre ando pase y quise probarlo durante años. La comida era normal, sabía bien pero no era nada del otro mundo, me pareció caro por su precio. Poppadums no eran muy crujientes y se sentía un poco empapado. Los asientos en la planta baja estaban tan apretados que me sentí un poco incómodo con lo cerca que estaba la mesa de mi cuerpo, y sentí que no había espacio para comer, ya que hacían tantas mesas como era posible. No creo que vuelva, ya que prefiero los restaurantes indios del West End, como la zona de dishoom y masala.

Love the food here but found the service to be very slow. Had to wait almost 15mins for a drink. Once that was sorted though everything else was great.

Es caro - como un par (uno principal y uno de los lados de cada uno, además de arroz y un pan) no pidas pero llegó a 60 libras.

I gave the driver the wrong address and he turned around without any complaint. I also had some free gifts including popadoms and bombey potatoes. Delicious food as always. 5 star

Food took 45 minutes and was luke warm when it came. My friend was particularly agitated by the peshwari naan having no coconut in it. However, fantastic draft cobra and atmosphere.

Amazing Indian restaurant, My gf is Indian and really liked it as well. Highly recommended. Very cozy. Next to the cutty sark ship. Very close to the Greenwich Park, so extremely good going after a nice walk at the park

We always bring our friends here, probably one of the best places to eat in the area if you like Indian food.

Having read several positive Trip Advisor reviews we decided to try this popular restaurant in the heart of Greenwich. We enjoyed lunch and weren't disappointed. It was a busy Sunday lunchtime and so was good that we had booked. The food was delicious - chicken tikka, chicken shashlik, lamb roghan, Bombay potatoes and rice. Fresh tasting and decent sized portions. A reasonable bill at the end too. There was also a good value set menu on offer.

I came hear with a group for a spot of Sunday lunch and the range of food was incredible. We had the Rogan josh, Chicken Saslick and Haryali Tikka served with Bombay potatoes and Pilau rice.

Quite busy on a Tuesday evening, warm inside on a cold day. Food was as good as ever (sheek kebab followed by a Chicken Jalfrezi with a Garlic Naan) Service was fast which is appreciated when eating on your own

Recomiendo este restaurante donde se puede comer una buena selección de platos indios. Apreciamos la calidad de la comida, sino también el servicio que era de gran calidad. Quizás dar algo de papadum como entrante podría ser una buena? Muchos restaurantes indios y es realmente "mise en bouche". Tuve un pollo Tikka Masala y era realmente delicioso, no dudes en ir allí, es un excelente restaurante!

Food was ok a little bland and the popadoms were stale

Just avoid this place. The only saving grace was that the staff were decent and friendly enough, but the place was dead as well- really bright lights and squashed in seating, which meant it felt like sitting in a canteen not a restaurant.. we paid over £50 for two curries, two breads, two poppadoms and two drinks..

I have dined at Mogul a few times and every time the food has been very nice and the staff are friendly and professional. They also offer quite a good range of vegetarian options.

I have to say Ive ordered from Mogul many, many times and never been disappointed. But this order - a small bread and a tiny amount of chicken in a lot of sauce. The house wine was okay, Thank you as I love this place but I was underwhelmed re this last order.

30 Mins after delivery time and still no sign of our order. Called Mogul: "Sorry we're really busy". So why mislead over the original delivery time? In 1.5 hours I could have bought the ingredients @ Sainsbury's and cooked it myself.

The food was tasteless and runny, the Biriyani had zero sauce, just dry rice with a bit of wet stirred in. Such a let down considering everyone in the place was really lovely.

Yo estaba feliz con el lugar, el servicio era bueno (a diferencia de muchos otros lugares donde se piensa que la India no hacen ningún dinero que servir un singleton) y así fue la comida.

Recientemente instalamos en la zona sobre la Luna tenemos una India muy cerca! El llevar era muy agradable, por desgracia, el servicio en el restaurante realmente decepcionado cuando comimos allí para la cena. Fuimos en una de las calas y fueron completamente olvidado. No vimos un camarero por los primeros 30 minutos, así que no hay bebida o comida hasta entonces. Estuvimos allí por 3 horas en total, debido a la falta de servicio. Dos veces tuvimos que levantarnos para ir y encontrar a alguien. El restaurante no estaba muy lleno, es más con la distribución, pero los camareros definitivamente debería prestar más atención a las mesas dando la vuelta! La comida era sólo ligeramente por encima de la media, lo que no ayuda! Sin embargo, recomiendo la comida para llevar.

Avoid unless you like your takeaway luke warm, soggy and tasteless. I had one bite of each dish I bought and then threw it straight in the bin were it belongs.

Sobre hace dos semanas mi madre y yo estábamos buscando un lugar para comer, porque en esta parte de la ciudad es casi imposible encontrar un lugar decente para la cena. Para nuestra fortuna hablamos con algunos paisanos y después de 10 minutos a pie de rotherhithe, Londres; encontramos este lugar.

Food was not as good as the last few times I had ordered.

The food was really tasty, they have a great variety of dishes and the service is polite and very quick. They also do a cheap take away menu we will definitely try next time. Vegetarian friendly

Been wanting to order from here for ages but a little more expensive than usual choices however the food was excellent and would definitely order again delivery quicker than expected food hot and packaged well and tasted amazing 😊

Food is always great from the mogul. The restaurant in Greenwich is fantastic and he takeaway is consistently good. I would never normally have an issue with takeaway arriving earlier than expected but I had specifically requested a certain time (1 hour from placing the order) as we were on our way home and the food came 30 minutes early! Very nearly missed it!

Perfect!! Food arrived earlier than expected and was cooked to perfection and flavoursome.

Order delayed, order shown as delivered by Justeat at 20.40, it was not it was delivered at 21.15, 40 minutes longer than expected after a 45 minute wait, so 85 minutes in total. The food whilst nice was luke warm. This is the second time we've had this issue with Mogul and the third/fourth time this has happened with Justeat. Deleting the app for appalling delivery times and bad communication.

I order from Mogul quite a lot. Food is always fantastic and full of flavour. Delivery is almost always on time and often quite early. However, on several occasions, drinks have been missing from my order. Ive called about this before and an additional drink was sent with my next order, but its happened 3 or 4 times now. I'm not going to call each time, I cant be bothered over a few ££'s, but perhaps more attention could be paid to the ticket when handing over to the delivery driver.

Entering the restaurant & ordering: Went here with my partner to have some food. Went in, sat down & was given the standard procedure. It came to ordering and I was very pleasant & nice to this waiter/manager (elderly person in his 50s). I asked him if they could add more masala to the main dish & make it a little spicy, he told me they don't add many spices to their food. I was okay with this and ordered my food.The starters:King Prawns with Puri.. Nothing special, bland & average.The main dishes: Sagh Paneer.. VERY bland, tasteless for both me and my Mrs.Chilli Chicken... Nice dish, I enjoyed it but nothing spectacular (Mrs didn't like it)The Aftermath:As we didn't finish the food I asked the man who took the order if he could please pack the food up that wasn't finished. He replied to me, "Only one container". I said yeah that's fine. I didn't think as to why this would be the case. My partner asked me as to why is it only one container, so I asked him the question, why is it only one? His response, "CONTAINERS COST MONEY". I didn't reply to this and finished my food. I thought it was such a rude comment to make and my partner was gob-smacked at his tone & smart witted response after how respectful I was. He had also told a couple to hurry up and finish their dinner because there was a reservation.My Response:This man thought he would be a smart guy and come to give me the bill instead of sending someone else, but when he returned I was extremely angry after his disrespectful and cheap comment. I asked him to remove the 10% optional service charge that was added to the bill without telling us. I then asked him who the manager was, he asked why? I said because I found it extremely rude & cheap to say something like that. He kept trying to say that it was the rule of the management and how it costs them money but this wasn't the point. I said that for the sake of a few pennies he would talk to customers like that and he didn't know how to do his job. He apologised and was embarrassed in front of his customers and I left the place.This was my experience at this restaurant without any bias. Bland food, rubbish service,... and the water took 15 minutes to arrive.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered dal makhni and the delivery guy came 15 mins late with the wrong order . I rang mogul restaurant restaurant and the lady apologise and told me to get the refund from just eat and as a good gesture they will still send the order. After 25 mins waiting i get a call from the restaurant they have refunded the money but will not send the food and i need to pay . The restaurant manager was so rude and was struggling to answer any questions. Frustrating and such an embarrassing moment in front of your guests.

Food came late and order was incomplete. This is exceptionally poor and I will never be ordering from here again.

This is my favourite Indian in south London, it is on the pricier side, but delivery is always early, the food is delicious, and as a takeaway it is very well packaged - love it!

Love Mogul, tasty and fast. The packaging and sealed containers are brilliant and keeps the food lovely and warm.

The delivery arrived 30mins before its estimated time which was great although it would be helpful to be up to date with the progress. The rice and naan were delicious. The curry was tasty too however it tasted much more fragrant than normal. I wonder if there was too much cardamom in it?

The food took over an hour to arrive. Upon calling the restaurant (I was waiting for 1h15min) I was informed the driver had left but the restaurant could not let me know when food was going to be delivered. Food tasted good, but it was completely cold when it arrived and this has certainly spoiled our experience a bit.

Cramped, noisy, cold with absolutely dreadful customer service. Rude and grumpy waiter, told me they were very busy and to hurry up and decide on menu choice after less than 5 minutes sat at our table. Food was very disappointing, Ran out of Cointreau for after dinner coffees and the Irish coffee I was served was stone cold, however they still charged me for it in spite of me complaining and not drinking more than a mouthful. Hardly a relaxing enjoyable meal out. I would neither recommend nor go there again.

Poor quality on this occasion from a restaurant I have always enjoyed. Overcooked chicken, stale poppadoms and food only tepid on arrival.

Food arrived barely warm. Not the first time either. Did not complain to the restaurant on this occasion because previously have been told that this doesn't happen to anyone else (clearly not true as other reviewers commented on food not being hot) If you don't mind microwaving your dinner in plastic it's still a good place to go.

In Greenwich for a work conference, nine of us had a great experience at Mogul. Our waiter, Milan, went out of his way to help with recommendations and made sure the vegan and vegetarians were aware of their options. Tasty food at reasonable prices, we'll definitely be back!

Good but disappointed with the biryani it used to be good now it's not, bit watered down and not much flavour. But everything else was good ! 👍👍

Home delivery, expected 40 minute wait then the restaurant added on 10 mins, due at 8pm. Called at 8.20pm, advised 20 mins away, didn't arrive until 8.54pm. Not great delivery times, would've ordered elsewhere if we had been advised of the delay. Food as usual spot on and delicious. Would think twice about ordering again though online at the weekend.

This restaurant genuinely made my blood boil at one point and it does take a lot for this to happen. We were a walk in and this restaurant has a downstairs and an upstairs, this was an unplanned dinner. Me and my boyfriend were hungry, but our friend had just eaten, but he was going to join us anyways. So we got to the host stand and the younger Indian guy was quite nice and polite, gestured to a table which was cramped, but whatever. Me and my boyfriend took the booth seat so we could sit next to each other, and our friend sat opposite. He sat on the left chair and then this older Indian guy started shouting in his face. Yup, in his face in the middle of the restaurant. He was being so rude and nasty. He wasn't really very clear with what he wanted, but all it was over was the fact he wanted my friend to sit in the other seat because it made it difficult for the waiters to get past, which my friend obviously didn't realise and in the alarm of being shouted in his face he found it harder to understand the guy. We are nice people and would move to accommodate the restaurant, however, you DO NOT SHOUT IN YOUR CUSTOMERS FACES. the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. This is only the beginning as well. During this time the younger Indian guy was trying to give us menus, but because of the outburst from the old fart it kinda took awhile as I was just gobsmacked. You want people to eat in your restaurant and then make them pay for food when they get treated like that? Lol no. Also if it's that much of a problem then you shouldn't give us the most cramped table in the restaurant, duh.I've never wanted to walk out of a restaurant before, but this time I definitely did. I turned to my boyfriend and I was like "do you really want to eat here when they are so rude to our friend?" luckily we were tired and didn't want to go and our friend has a thick skin. So this old guy then starts to take our food order, where we say that our friend isn't eating. He gives my friend a dirty look, stops taking the order and huffs as he then takes my friend's cutlery away. I asked if it was a problem and he said no, so we continued. He was very rude and seemed like he was annoyed that we were here. We waited a while for the food, but wasn't a problem as we enjoyed each other's company. I'm glad we did eat here as it was really cheap and the food was genuinely amazing. I think this restaurant has the best onion bhajis I have ever tasted. It was really shocking how amazing the food was and how crap the old guy was. When our food was served the older guy seemed to have calmed down and asked our friend if he was sure he didn't want anything. I do wish that the younger Indian guy was our server as he was really nice and would have made this experience perfect. After we had eaten the older Indian guy started making lame jokes which weren't very funny, he seemed to be attention seeking from the tables, seeming to act like the boss. However, no owner or boss I have ever met would treat their patrons like that. I do think this guy should be fired if he isn't the owner, because I could even hear the awkward laughs from the other tables as they tried to be polite. Then as we were paying, still seated at the table he then starts wiping it down and flicking food everywhere. You clean the tables when your guests have left. You can definitely tell that they aren't well trained and don't know simple restaurant etiquette. Obviously we didn't leave a tip, but maybe we would have if the guy wasn't such an rude moron. I think the only only reason I would come back is for the food and to see whether that guy is still there, and whether he is still rude or not.
