Late weekday family lunch after shopping on Ealing Road. Found this hidden gem for freshly made no fuss authentic Gujarati fayre. We ordered snacks (crispy bhajai, methi bhajai, puram puri, bhel followed by shrikhand puri). All were made to order and so had to wait a short while as restaurant had got busy with lots of people collecting takeaways as well. All our order was very tasty and piping hot. We could taste the freshness even particularly in the chutneys. The skrikhand puri ended our meal perfectly. Great customer service throughout. They were so attentive and accommodating. Will return soon.

Pizza 🍕 is ok but unfortunately if you don’t have choice somewhere else order than here. First and last order from me

Tandoori Villa is just brilliant. The staff are always cordial and accommodating and the food is excellent without any pretentiousness. The reviews that call it a local ‘gem’ are to the point. Tandoori Villa is a jewel in Ealing’s crown.

Fabulous!!! (And very good value for money). I loved the dosas, and a main aubergine curry with coconut that was exquisitely flavoured. The breads were fantastic - my friend had paratha, that fell apart (in the best way); and I had a delicious soft, melt in your mouth bread made with coconut milt and some fermentation. I’ll be back in the area for work in a couple of weeks, and definitely returning.

We recently visited Cross Restaurant in Wembley which is a cherished destination for authentic Goan cuisine, offering a homely atmosphere and dishes that transport diners straight to the coastal kitchens of Goa. These meals come complete with fragrant rice, tangy curries, pickles, and a sweet dessert, providing a well-rounded and satisfying experience. Other standout dishes include prawns raechado masala, sorpotel, beef cutlet bread, and Goan pork sausages, all praised for their authentic flavors and generous portions. Cross Restaurant exudes a warm, family-run charm. The decor is simple, but the atmosphere is enriched by the friendly staff and the sounds of worship songs playing in the background. On Sundays, live music during lunchtime adds to the inviting environment. We thoroughly enjoyed the food we ordered and loved the friendly owners Raju and Trinda Labale.
