The staff didn't charge us for the fish curry🤪🤪🤪 yeah for a reason... we reported the reason and felt like they weren't attending us after.. felt like leaving, but we were thinking about the food we ordered.. i am indecisive to give an honest answer about reviewing this place. If someone asks me about that reason i might expose it😬😬 Please note: months past, still awaiting email response Edit: We decided on the food items at first itself and asked them to bring later, not ordering one after another.. it was only the payasam desert we didnt order at first. Shame that you are trying to make stories to save yourself. Or the staff is well prepared to roll them to the customers We never said the food wasnt good, and cannot say it was the best. Thank you I have emailed you regarding my points of finding the so called hair and me not reacting and creating scene about the staff being non attentive. I wanted to appreciate the chef for the fish curry, for it authenticity but now the response from you put me down i am so sad that i didn't take a picture of the ahir and amount of fish curry in the vessel to show others when we found it, my bad.. but this is a great lesson.

It was a busy onam and I understand staff is busy. In error id booked at another restaurant thinking it's Anjaanas. Instead of being patient when I was trying to tell what happened from my end, the staff was getting irritated and talking in an argumentative tone. Please first get your staff trained at handling conflict and some customer service etiquette. To listen to what customer is saying.

Hi. I wanted to make some changes to my Onam reservation. I just tried calling and no one answered, online it shows that anjanas is closed today. I was told during booking that 10th September was the last day to make any changes. I hope I can still make the changes tomorrow as you weren’t Available today. Thank you.

Excellent authentic tastes and textures. We were a party of 4….including 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian. Food, knowledge and service were excellent. All dishes arrived hot. Delicious dinner.

Best South Indian cuisine in London, I love this combo Appam and Egg roast

TL;DR: not for kids, women or special needs people. To be honest, I wouldn't go at all if you're someone who values human beings over reasonably priced yet average tasting food. Went there as a family (4 adults, 3 teenagers, a baby). I would rate food 4/10. But had a terrible experience due to my nephew being special needs. I flagged the fact that he would be eating a separate home sandwich meal to the waitress, which seemed to be ok, but in fact wasn't, as we discovered later. To cut a long story short, the manager seemed to think it was due to dietary requirements/allergies, and was unwilling to listen to us or acknowledge the blue badge card explaining my nephew's situation (autism). I'd also say as a woman I was glad my husband was present, as I felt unsafe, due to the language and attitude towards me. My husband got an apology, I did not. Moreover, the waitress in the wrong got a telling off, and was in tears. I'll let you draw your own conclusion if you put these elements together. We paid £50 for 6 lunch menus and no service charge, with 3 of the menus barely touched given we spent 20min arguing.

One of my local favourite places - authentic south Indian food with a heat selection that you don't see in the 'normal' curry restaurants. The dosa are particularly good!

On vacation with my sister (we are French), we thought we would have a good time with family. The unpleasant owner ruined our meal because of an allergy even though NO ONE had it at our table... the waitress ended up crying, guess who's responsible again. This is a total misunderstanding and a lack of respect. My autistic son came out scared... Well done sir 💯 and no excuses to the women. If you have children with specific needs, don't come!!!

We found this place while looking for a South Indian cuisine as we were close to the area. It was a good find with good food which lived up to our expectations. We hope to return again to dry more dishes.

Came with high expectations based on Google reviews and was disappointed. We ordered the Anjanaas fish curry, beef fry, appam and kerela paratha. The fish curry was below average with no real flavour, the appam was too thick, the beef fry and kerela paratha were decent. Service was also slow.

Always great quality dishes with lots of flavour… the masala dosa, saag aloo and vegetarian biriyani delicious as usual.

Everything in this restaurant is amazing. The food really is 11/10, the staff are more than happy to accommodate you, and the atmosphere is very chill. I would definitely recommend this place to all for a truly amazing experience, Thank You Anjanaas.

Good, tasty Indian dishes including both the unusual (for this visiting Anglo-American) and the familiar. Modest setting, a warmly welcoming staff, and excellent value for money. Though not a fancy spot it’s very appealing and we left happy. Recommended.

Amazing Vishu Sadya we had here. They do both Onam and Vishu sadya. Authentic and tasty Kerala dishes. We loved everything! The staff are friendly and welcoming as well. The vibe here during sadya is just like in Kerala. Make sure to check out this place. We have been here twice and loved the food both times. @risholflavour

One of the best Kerala food in London. We went there today for the special Vishu sadhya and it was really worth it. Will go back there again to try other food as well and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of authentic Kerala food.

Tasty food. One small complaint. The purees were rubbery, hard to tear apart and tasted as if they had been fried in rancid oil. We binned them and made a mental note not to order them again.The rest of the meal was absolutely delicious.

It's good hot taste..no spicy..it will good taste ......That dish looks absolutely mouthwatering! The presentation is impeccable, and I can almost taste the delicious flavors just by looking at it.

I am a fan of Indian food, having been there several times. This food was so salted it wasn’t edible. It tasted as if it was all just flavoured with a bought curry powder. I’ve had Thoran many times and it doesn’t taste like this. To be honest most of it went into the bin. I will not be ordering from here again. It’s not authentic Indian food, and it doesn’t taste very fresh either. I was really hoping the dosa would be good but it was bad.

Had been to this place for lunch and they serve authentic Kerala food. Loved the taste of everything that I ordered. The only issue I have is that the portion sizes are very small and it can actually serve only 1 person. For the prices the portion sizes should be slightly bigger. Rest assured the food was really good.

This restaurant is a very authentic south Indian restaurant specializing in Kerala food. I'm from the Kerala region and was delighted to find the food ,staff and decor of the restaurant to be truly authentic Kerala style. My favourite dishes were the beef fry and the appam with egg roast! delicious I cannot wait to go back!!!

The best food I have ever tasted and the staff are super friendly. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back again. Me and my husband really enjoyed our lunch. Even recieved a free glass of bucks fizz for valentines day which was a lovely suprize.

My absolute favourite restaurant. This is my and my husband’s staple. Always good service, always good food. Really good pricing also. We are practically family at this point, love getting greeted with a smile. If I could give more stars I would.

August 2021: Was blessed to get a reservation for Onam Sadhya and the food was worth being almost hungry for the whole day. Ate on a banana leaf after such a long time. And the server was kind to introduce us to each food item that was placed on our leaves. I have forgotten most names but I will always remember the feeling for years to come. The feeling of getting high on all veg food. The feeling of nostalgia of being in Fort, Bombay from years before. I needed to take a break from eating to type this because I almost full and satisfied but there's more on my plate and in my heart. The unlimited buffet was a treat on an auspicious day like today. I don't think I can walk. Will definitely be coming here to sample their other items soon. For the amount of papad that we asked for, I only hope they let us in again.

This is one of the most authentic Indian restaurant specializing in Keralan Cuisine. We are regulars here and often bring our friends. We have tried many restaurants (even popular ones), but the food does not come close to Anjanaas. Menu is big, and surprisingly each dish is unique and worth trying. My Go-to items are Dosa and their Chicken Curry with Kerala Paratha, you cannot go wrong.

The ghee roast dosa was excellent. We went for a late breakfast/early lunch. It wasn't very crowded. Service was fast. The egg curry with appam was okay. I missed having a filter coffee. But maybe it wasn't there because it's not a Kerala thing.

This was my 1at time here as my family had organisied a surprise 50th for me, a group of 13, the staff were absolutely awesome meeting the different requirements of the 13 individuals, drinks were ordered along with starters and time given in between for mains, no desserts were ordered, the staff took time out to make sure that orders were taken correctly and efficiently, the food is absolutely beautiful and the price is not to bad either, the meats are cooked to perfection and the sauces oh wow, so flavourful, a variety of yogurt dips, nanns and poppadom s were set on the table as snacks, the atmosphere was so lovely, (other diners did get a surprise but they loved the vibe our table had) this restaurant was recommended by my son in law as he had been here before and it was 100% good choice, non of the group had been here before so it was really nice to try some where new, we were definitely not disappointed, the menu has so much to offer, non spicy to very spicy, vegetarian options, allergies catered for.... So please do let the staff know..... So please do come here, find out for yourself what I'm saying here, 5* plus, parking is on the main road near to the restaurant or any of the side roads so that's not an issue, come and see for yourself Thank you so much to the staff for last night.....

Anjanaas is a delightful option for both lunch and dinner and their comprehensive menu has something for everyone (speaking as a vegetarian). I’ve had quick meals here as well as long, drawn out Sadyas - both very enjoyable. The food is consistently fresh and feels sumptuous. The service is always warm and friendly. I really enjoy the tables by the window.

Love the Kerala food here (South Indian) - gr8 kozhi chicken curry, chick peas, vegetable korma, Kathriki kootan (aubergine dish), lacha parathas, and more - even the paneer makhani (north Indian dish) is good. Everything is freshly cooked and served piping hot always!
