The best restaurants serving Indian food in Nottingham East Midlands

Another Christmas treat from Tastees this time at home. 1st time that I have had to have an home delivery thanks to covid. I like the restaurant. Anyhow I choose the Shahi King Prawn. Garlic and Chilli naan. Really succulent prawns which went with the curry sauce perfectly. The naan just a little kick just how I like it. Sides I had 2 popadum and chutney tray. Well done hope to see you in your restuarant next year.

I expected more from this fairly new bar which serves Indian street food. It serves tapas type plates which were expensive for what was presented. I found the dishes to be bland and some were only warm when served. However there is a large selection of gluten free dishes. A mix of food came quickly which made me think it was not cooked fresh. The craft beer was mainly bottles and cans with a couple of poorly kept beers on tap. This is near a trendy area of Nottingham city centre but it does not have to charge London prices. I am sorry to say that I will not be returning anytime soon.

Usually the only place I order a good curry from, tonight was left feeling disappointed. Tikka massage had no taste to it (meaning spices, dash of cream, coconut) just tasted bland and the korma was the same. My son had chicken nuggets and chips and even down to them the chips didn't taste fresh neither hot so was a shame really. 😕

Ordered 2 kebabs with sauce but mine didn't come with any sauce
