The best restaurants serving Indian food in East Midlands

Such a wonderful meal at Aladdins, have had takeaways many times but this was our first eat in meal at Aladdins. The service the staff and the food were all amazing, can’t express how good it was. We had free parking at the hotel across the road, just popped in and entered our registration. Thank you again staff at Aladdins, hope fully see you soo.

As usual, the food was excellent, staff are friendly. Nice ambient in the restaurant, the team at maharaaj always go that extra mile to keep you satisfied with your requirement.

Some takeaway from this place most recently. Certainly a good selection on their menu. I am more excited to hear about their most recent announcement that they are undergoing management change and is being taken over by Everest Lounge group. EL is best rated Nepalese,Indain and Tibetan food in Market Haroborugh. Hopefully not long to wait. The change will certainly enhance the quality of Himalayan Inn.

We visited this lovely restaurant with our daughter and her husband last Friday. From the moment we arrived we were so impressed by the welcome we received ,and every member of staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful. In this delightful restaurant we were all given time to make our food selections from the menu and being able to take your own alcoholic and other drinks with us was a real bonus. The food was delicious and presented so well. In fact my husband and myself who are both 77 felt that we have never had such an excellent Chicken Tikka Biriyani and we have had quite a few! Another helpful tip is that there is a car park across the road where the parking is free after 6 pm. We shall definitely be back at Cinnamon Central for sure!

Having lived in India for 11 years, Hinglish is the best indian restaurant food we have had since leaving Mumbai/Delhi. Visiting family in the area we had an early supper with a selection of dishes, perfect fresh spicing, not oily or too sweet even the paneer was the real stuff, Really cannot recommend Hinglish highly enough. Standout dishes for us were the specials starters: Tandoor lamb chops, perfectly pink, paneer tikka, soft and super tasty and aloo tikki chaat, sweet, spicy, sour and crunchy .. spot on! For mains I had Butter Chicken, pilau rice, dhal makhani and coriander garlic naan, all wonderful and just how we like it. the rest of the family, from 11 yrs upwards had a variety of other dishes all of which were brilliant. Although simple inside, the restaurant is clean and fresh and the wall mural depicting the journey from Mumbai to UK is wonderful. Mahendra, Priyanka and their staff provide a great service and lovely friendly atmosphere, their knowledge and enthusiasm for food is fantastic. Learning his trade at a top hotel in Mumbai I am pretty sure Mahendras’ continental breakfast offerings will be a treat which we cant wait to try on our next visit. Our first visit but now our go to restaurant on future family visits, Great job guys, we loved it !

Great food, with different choices to the run of the mill Indian Restaurants. We enjoyed it so much we are going again tonight .

I was so impressed with previous meals here that I took some relatives, who are vegan, to have a meal at Spice Village. Oneill and his wife were as charming and welcoming as ever. They had prepared a superb vegan meal of falafel for us all, which is the best I've ever had and my guests loved it! To make a fabulous meal even better, the price was brilliant. I do believe that Spice Village is Boston's Best kept secret; certainly the best Indian restaurant for miles around.

Best indian takeaway for miles. The food is excellent and the varied menu will suit,all tastes. We have had many from here and never disappointed.
