Gorkha 8848 in Oadby and Wigston

We celebrated Christmas day by having out Christmas dinner here, Gorkha catered for all of us, some of whom are vegetarian, others vegan and one of our party has gluten intolerance. There was something for each of us meat eaters too! The menu was well thought out and the food was delicious and served piping hot freshly cooked. Children were welcomed and were made a fuss of by the staff which was lovely! We had a wonderful dining experience, we went to Gorkha last Christmas, this Christmas and am sure we will be back for next Christmas, and visits before too! Many thanks to all the staff for such a wonderful Christmas Lunch.

Since Gorkha opened has been a fantastic place to eat first visit in almost a year and nothing has changed fantastic hospitality and fantastic food ❤️

We very much enjoyed our visit here all round. We decided to concentrate on the Nepalese dishes for our main course and had two of the chef's specials, both were delicious. We especially liked the Nepali Kahana. The food was complemented by the Gurkha beer. The service was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. The restaurant is not too large and the atmosphere was good. Take away is also available. Parking in side street. Would recommend a visit.

This was our first visit to Gorkha 8848 and it will not be our last. The restaurant is clean and inviting, the food is very well presented and tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful, guiding us through the menu, and recommending dishes to suit us all. The seating area is very comfortable and clean, although only a few customers present at the time we visited. We have booked again for next week, and this will certainly be high on our list of restaurants to use. Thank you to the staff that gave us excellent service.
