Have used this restaurant for sit down meals and takeaways. The food has every time been amazing and the menu tells it like it is. We live 5 miles away with 4 Indian restaurants nearer but still go there. Can’t beat it. The food, the staff, service and the ambiance is top notch. Other you won’t be disappointed.

Ordered a takeaway from here today for the first time and I will definitely be going back, the food was perfect, we had the chicken tikka and chicken dhansak both were hot after a 10 minute drive home both of the curries were full of flavour and the dhansak was nice and spicy. Rice and naans were great too. Well done to the chefs. P.s front of house were very welcoming and jovial which was nice.

We ordered a take away last week. Was told it would be 45-60 min for delivery, took over an hour and a half. Food was cold and bland. Was promised a call back to discuss the quality and service, a week later, still not heard anything. Asked for fresh chillies in 1 dish, 1 small piece of fresh chilli was all we found.

Always rated this place until last Saturday. Not sure if they have changed the recipes or the chef. We had 4 different currys, the masala was good but the others had no flavour whatsoever, one of them was just pure hotness. The starters weren't great either. Presentation and staff was good. Was very expensive for what we had, my guests were very disappointed with the lack of flavours.

Such an amazingly chilled environment. So welcoming from every member of the staff and the food is simply always perfect.

5 of us came here for a meal. We all found the food to the bland. The meat was tender but had little to no taste. Chips and samosas were under cooked. Samosas tasted like they were frozen beforehand. For the prices they charge these should be fresh.

I have always use this restaurant for my takeaways and never disappointed but this evening not so good, firstly I kept on asking the staff member to stop saying out loud my card details in a busy bar area and secondly when food arrived which was a quick delivery unfortunately the food was only lukewarm at most, both my wife and I have unwell for the last week and not eaten all day we just needed to eat something and not have to muck about getting a replacement.

Food is exceptional and staff always very attentive. Good for couples, friends or gatherings for celebrations.

Visited for the Sunday Buffet. Pleasant greeting from staff. Good selection of food. Pizza for kids was on buffet but had to pay extra for chips. Food was all hot and tasty. Buffet was good price. £5.75 for a pint of Fosters was a bit steep though

We usually get a takeaway from here, personally I love the aam chicken tikka, peshwari naan and keema rice. Highly recommended.

We came today for the first time for the Sunday buffet, the staff were wonderful, the food was great so much selection always hot and kept maintaining and the service from the staff was really good. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal.

What an expensive mistake … extremely watery sauces and poor amount of meat ... Naan bread undercooked. Emailed them twice hoping they would acknowledge my complaint ... Perhaps it was just a bad night ????? - but no reply

Last minute booking for 8. Wednesday night the place was quiet. Service was prompt, food was really tasty. Not one person in the group had a bad word to say about it. Would recommend.

I didn't expect much from this restaurant. After a night out with colleagues at the Cuisine of India we can ALL confirm how awful this place is. The food was VERY bland, we waited over an hour for the main course our drinks order was wrong. The excuse we got for the wait was "its a Saturday night and its very busy" this made us all laugh! If you cant perform & cope on a Saturday night, then you have no chance! All 9 of us wont be coming here again! Feedback from the the staff would be appreciated.

A frustrating start to the evening made so much better by the lovely staff and excellent food. I was happily surprised. Real taste and not just a slap of curry powder.... Very happy night. Happily recommend

We enjoyed a very delicious meal here and eat curry often, but this place has exceptional flavour and good value for money. We were surprised they offer free ice cream at the end of the mesl which was a lovely touch. Staff are efficient and friendly. The venue is not typical of a curry house and quite unique and can cater for large groups so we were pleased we could sit in a slightly to the side part of the room for a more intimate experience. I would recommend the mixed grill with a peshwari naan.

Our first time at this restaurant, it was wonderful, couldn't fault it. Some my day the service was slow, but it was ideal for us. They gave you loads of time to go through the menu and why you were waiting for your meal, there's a bar and lounge area where you can wait. The time between starters & main course was not rush and gave you time prepare for the next. Thoroughly enjoyable, reasonably price. Judging by the number of people there I was not the only one to enjoy the crusine

The starter was bland as we selected to have fish pakoras. They were also small in size in comparison to other Indian restaurants. The mains were really tasty including the naan. However in comparison to other restaurants the portion was small in comparison. Service is great in comparison to other restaurants. Would come again for sure.

I do not like being watched when I'm eating. We were rushed and we felt uncomfortable. I told my partner that they were waiting for us to put the last mouthful in and they would take my plate and the second I put my knife and fork down they were on my plate. I say they because we had 2 or 3 people watching us. I still had the food in my mouth when they took my plate away. This happened on every part of the meal. One waiter came over to see if we had finished at one point and then made out he was checking the radiator. The food was good although the starters were a bit bland and not worth the money paid. We would go again but next time I will tell them to not stand over us and we will let them know when we want them.

My first time at this amazing Indian restaurant, definitely not my last. A dining experience, card tricks at your table, very attentive service, not to mention the delicious dishes and such a vast choice. They were will to adjust and offered recommendations that were excellent. I can fully understand why this place is popular & busy. Thank you for the amazing dining service. Do not be disappointed at the outside, the dining experience starts as you walk through the door & are greeted by an extremely large bubble curtain tank. Very clean toilets as well.

Awesome food 1st time eating here wanted-something different but proper Indian food. This was absolutely 1st class. Waiters were a bit quick with food courses and we felt rushed - no time for food to settle down before the next course was out. Other than that I can highly recommend this place to everyone 👍🏻

Live in Market Harborough and can't get a decent curry here. So travel to Wigston for the best curry this side of Leicester. So tasty and every dish tastes different, not all from the base. Would highly recommend

Although the food was nice and came promptly, the Biriani had bones in it. Not a very high standard of food practice as I choked on the small splinters of bone in the dish. More concerningly, could of ended up a lot worse than what it did.

We haven't been here for quite a while. We were welcomed with open arms and made to feel very welcome. There have been a number of changes to the menu, including pizza! They also offer wraps which I think I will try next time. The service was attentive and the food delicious

Rip off. I ordered Coke, they only had Pepsi but offered a can of coke. Price for two cans was £7.00. You can buy a whole case of coke for that price. When I complained, I was told to do what I like.

We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and very good portions. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We went with our granddaughter and we had a very enjoyable time. There is good access for the disabled and the toilets have good disabled access.

Excellent meal as always and a staff that treat you as friends not customers It is 5 years since my original review and it is still in a class of its own. If it ever takes chicken Umorpuri and Chazni Tikka chicken off the menu, there will be tears before bedtime 😅 - the food is exceptional 👍

We were staying in the area and fancied curry, this place looked interesting, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Huge choice of dishes from the usual to unique. Lovely ambiance, grest staff and good prices. If we lived in the area we would definitely be back.

So disappointed with this place. It’s the second time we’ve came in a group of fifteen and we’ve been told twice now that a whole person hasn’t paid! Two people paid cash which they had and everybody else showed their bank transactions and we still had to pay an extra person that didn’t exist! I wonder how many groups they do this to! We will not be returning.

Lovely place to visit, a great bar area where you can relax and have drinks, the restaurant area is large with plenty of seating even when they are busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is superb with a vast selection to choose from. You can even have complimentary ice cream for dessert 🍨

Tried this place twice disappointing both times.. dry lamb in the massala.. and the prawn curry was bland AF.. well over priced. You can get cheaper and better elsewhere.

Busy and food took a long time. However they recognised that have us free poppadoms and took money off the bill.

On a miserable Wednesday evening in December we went after seeing positive reviews on Google. We had one of the best curries ever, the staff were great, the ambience was great and the place was absolutely packed. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Just wish we lived nearer.

Sorry but really not happy. The whole experience has not made me want to return. The food was tasteless, I even questioned myself thinking maybe I had covid. No flavour whatsoever. Staff continued to walk up and down staring at us making us feel uncomfortable and rushed. The moment I put my fork down my plate was taken, I knew this would happen so had to continuously hold a piece of naan bread so I could finish my bland meal without throwing it down my throat. Regularly asked if we wanted more drinks but never asked if food was OK. Once we had requested the bill they couldn't get us put of there quick enough.

Had good food here and great service. Place is always busy but they cope with everything. Only once complained about a take away which was appalling but nothing was ever done. Still hasn’t put me off though.

We have been customers of this restaurant for many years visiting most weekends and each week it seems to be getting worse and worse and more and more expensive. Whether we collect or have it delivered the food is luke warm and we only live an 8min drive away. The meals that we order have become more tasteless each time. We complained once and got such a bad response that we don't bother. Unfortunately we kept giving it another chance but after last weekend, we will not be going anymore. Such a shame as a few years back it was the best around

We recently had our wedding, and chose Cuisine Of India as our wedding breakfast caterers. All I can say is WOW! The food was delicious, and there was so much of it as well. When we were initially choosing which curries we wanted to have, the staff were so helpful and so accommodating with everything. Would definitely come back here again for events and for normal takeaways as well. Amazing!

Ok, it's not the best food in the world, but it's the best Indian food in the area, by far. Staff are always really nice, it's only a shame that the local clientele are... let's just say "a bit less polite".

A shame I can't rate this restaurant higher. The staff are so polite and friendly especially with our 2 year old. It cost £124 for 4 adults and a 2 year old (food and drinks) BUT... the food was seriously tasty, we asked if they could make a small portion of tikka masala for our daughter and they said of course. Will definitely be returning. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I always enjoy a good curry here. Staff are efficient and the restaurant has a nice waiting area especially since it was revamped.

Food was ok, atmosphere/restaurant itself had nice decor, spacious very clean. However our meal for ten people was let down by the abruptness of just one member of staff (tall and bald) who by just taking our drinks order was quite rude - I think he was aware we weren’t impressed by his attitude initially but in all fairness his customer service skills did improve as the meal went on.

Ordered a chicken tikka masala and chicken korma + rice, chicken dishes came in big containers, once opened - masala dish had 7 pieces of chicken and the korma, 5, lots of sauce, absolutely a joke of a meal at £9.50 a go, won't be using them again

Nothing to do with food or service.Just thought I'd say that after booking table on Reserve a Table ,I then called restaurant to double check. Good job I did as they had no booking online received .All sorted now thanks to helpful staff for 23rd Dec 2022 .

We used to use cuisine of India regularly when we first moved round the corner from there, however last time we ordered food they got the order wrong, completely wrong, I am a vegetarian and they sent me a meat dish….. after immediately calling them and speaking to 2 different people I was told ‘we are human and we make mistakes’ as you can imagine this didn’t go down well, nevertheless at the time another chance was given to rectify their ‘mistake’…… Today again ordered food as take away, once we got the food home and unwrapped, we were again given the wrong food!!!! I called the restaurant and spoke to 2 different people explaining the problem, again I was ‘we are humans and we made a mistake’, our last experience was shared yet again with them, and the attitude I received back was awful. I explained how we had stopped using them for a bit after our last experience so thought we would try them again, the ‘not bothered’ attitude certainly was displayed. Very rude service, and I definitely won’t be giving them a 3rd chance. Moral of the story if collecting a take away before leaving check the food!!!

Fantastic food, really tasty, great spices and our takeaway was so hot when it arrived. We were staying on the canal at Kilby Bridge and the Navigation Inn (also a great pub) weren't doing good, but they suggested we got Cuisine of India to deliver to the pub. Great experience all round.

Stayed at Holiday Inn and didnt fancy Italian so opted for a a google rated curry takeout. Lamb samosa, chicken sag and cheese and chilli naan were lovely. Nice touch with extra popadom. I live in Bradford and enjoy a good curry and this is a good one. Price just missed top marks but plenty of food for the money.

A group of us went here and all 6 of us thought the food was amazing.

I ordered £32.55 worth of food I ordered what my grandparents normally have which was the half tandoori chicken main and the tandoori chicken mix grill main boiled rice and a keema nann well the chicken was really dry and the keema nann was awful never seen it come like this before the meat looked like a slab of meat that looked as if it had been kept unhygenically in the kitchen and smelt like it had been warmed in the microwave yes it smelt like it had been warmed in the microwave it honestly looked like something off of Gordon Ramsey kitchen nightmares I love keema nann aswel overall the rice was ok disappointed after spending that much money/ not even a sorry 😲

Could improve and invest in their customer service significantly. Stop staring at people when they are being served and have one person to serve per table rather than confusing yourself and annoying the customers. Food is okay though.

Very disappointed with the service and attitude by tall and bald waiter, his full of himself. After ordering second round of glass of wine I was clearly served with watered down wine, thinking I won’t notice. When I polity and quietly questioned him he rudely told me it was from the same bottle, we only use house wine. I can show you. No apology or alternative drink offered but he walked away in arrogance. He needs to learn some manners. Definitely not going back there.👎
