Visited Tholos last night for the first time, we were very impressed with the food that we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu is varied and we thought prices were very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you fancy a change from burgers and pizza I'd thoroughly recommend giving Tholos a try, we'll certainly be visiting again.

Visited on the spur of the moment. We have been wanting to visit this independent restaurant for ages. Excellent choice on the menu. Visited with my husband. I had Kotopoulo lemonato- chicken served with lemon sauce and roasted potatoes. It was delicious and the chicken wasn’t overcooked and so succulent. My husband had Chicken souviakia- chicken skewers with pita bread, chips, salad and dips. Excellent sized portion. For dessert we had Baklava and the orange pie. Both enjoyed. Wine was reasonably priced. Food freshly cooked and hot. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. A wonderful dining experience. We definitely recommend this authentic restaurant.

I am really disappointed with my experience here. The food portions have gotten smaller, and the taste is much worse than before. No more sharing platter anymore. The worst part is that the new owner didn’t honor the 10% student discount they advertise. It’s frustrating when a business changes for the worse, and I won’t be returning anytime soon. Although the staff were really friendly.

Llegamos y recibimos una cálida bienvenida. El menú tiene una gran variedad de opciones. El plato de carne en particular era realmente sabroso, aunque más pequeño de lo esperado. ¡Si tienes hambre, no pidas la moussaka vegetariana como si fuera pequeña! Vino a almorzar mientras estaba de compras. La zona de estar no es la más grande, pero había una mesa para nosotros. Decidimos compartir el plato de carne de pollo para uno. Gracias a Dios que sí. No tuvimos que esperar mucho para que llegara la comida y cuando llegó nos sorprendió lo grande que era. Había un montón de pollo que no era grasiento o graso en absoluto, patatas fritas, precioso pan fresco y hermosa ensalada fresca. Nos gustó mucho y sin duda volveremos. Si tuviera que hacer una crítica, la selección de chapuzones que puedes elegir no sería genial, sería bueno tener más opciones. Aparte de eso no hay quejas de nosotros. Absolutamente delicioso y el servicio era genial también, incluso te ofrecen una caja para llevar cualquier sobrante contigo. Volveremos al 100%.

We booked a table for 4 people using a Groupon voucher for Saturday 13 April 2024. I phoned to book a table on the 7th of March. When we arrived at the restaurant it was closed. A sign on the door said it was closed for 4 to 6 months for a renovation. We had not been contacted at all and we're forced to go elsewhere. I tried to contact them by phone and SMS but no reply.
