The best restaurants serving Greek food in South West

I visited York after a long time with my family and I came across a nice stand on a little street with a label saying LOUKOUMADES. I didn’t have second thoughts, I went straight away to buy. I’ve got two portions of loukoumades, one with honey, walnuts, cinnamon and a scoop of Vanilla ice cream and the second one with Nutella and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.. I shared them with my family and they were delighted!! They were so fresh and flavoured!! Also, the Greek girls that prepared and served me those delicious loukoumades were really friendly and smiley. I would definitely buy again from them. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to taste a little bit of Greece.

Lovely, good quality, well cooked, tasty food. Excellent service and value for money. Generous portions as well. Highly recommended!

We made a spontaneous decision to try Trade Winds tonight. I have to say we were not disappointed! My partner had what he called the best moussaka he’s ever eaten and I had a spiritual moment over a chicken souvlaki! Two home made desserts finished off an incredible experience. And we would have been happy with just a tub of their home made hummas and a pile of pitta! All the staff were just lush. Helpful polite and friendly. We’ll definitely be back to explore the menu more! Thank you for a wonderful meal!

We all really enjoyed our meal, everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Particularly liked the halloumi and the homemade houmous with peppers in it. Looking forward to eating there again soon.

The person at the till is very nice and generous and it takes no time for the great food to get ready its great.

Wow, wow and wow again! The food was delicious and the portion sizes were huge. Staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. For what is provided, the price is more than reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Clean, friendly staff and tasty food. Good portion sizes and very much enjoyed the Mediterranean breakfast. Staff happy to swap items or add extras - nothing seemed to be any problem for them. Well worth supporting this cafe if you like greek food.

The size of the rooms precludes the employment of staff and limits the number of covers they can offer. The result is an intimate meal of many small plates. Delicious but crowded!

Nice change from Italian or British pub food. Nice selection of traditional Greek dishes. What we had was tasty. Nice cosy atmosphere

Although we are local first time in the Olives et Al shop. Good choice of olives either in jars or loose to buy in plastic containers. Nice selection of local made treats eg cheese etc. Some "different" food ideas. Great place would visit again. No cafe available at the moment.

Fantastic place with fantastic food

Hice una reserva el lunes para una mesa para dos el viernes por la noche. Llegué bajo la lluvia y fumé un cigarrillo afuera antes de entrar. Dos parejas entraron y se sentaron en mesas para cuatro personas. Cuando entramos nos dijeron que no había mesas disponibles, solo para cuatro personas. Obviamente esto no se aplicaba a las dos parejas sentadas literalmente dos minutos antes. Sugerimos que volvamos una hora después. Gracias por arruinar nuestra velada. Seguro decir que nunca volveremos o comer en este restaurante de nuevo!

Just had my daughters 40th birthday family meal, the venue, staff and food was absolutely excellent, I would thourghly recommend to anyone.
