The best restaurants serving Greek food in East of England

It was ABSOLUTELY perfect food This my second time here and I tell you it Worth it The customer service was amazing and they were really friendly

What an amazing find! I spent the first 27 years of my life visiting my Yaya in Greece This is the most authentic Greek food you can get. Amazing customer service and such good value. My friend had a delicious Chicken 'The Portion' and couldn't finish half of it, she saved the other half for her dinner! I had the amazing pork Souvalki. We both found our food incredibly good. I highly recommend trying anything from The Pitta!

Wonderful independent cafe, with incredible food and service! Service - owner and staff incredibly friendly and hugely welcoming Food - wonderful savoury and sweet delights - huge selection and great to have variety of portion sizes too (e.g., my mum was not overly hungry, so had a bite sized treat. I had a bigger appetite, so decided to have a bigger pastry) Drinks - coffee (hot and tasty). Have good selection of teas too. Wonderful little tables outside - great on a warm day.

Yummy food . Prices are really good too. We ordered almost everything from the meny on different occasions, can't fault them, everything is justs so tasty albania

Absolutely amazing cafe restaurant! Small family and friendly business. Had chicken gyros and then tiramisu, probably the best I ever had. It was that good. Highly recommend it for lunchtime or coffee and dessert anytime of the day. Will be soon.

Super fish platter, very good wine and lovely friendly atmosphere. A real old country pub traditional yet modern in that the cuisine offered is both English and Greek so is wide enough to suit many tastes. Many to feel very welcome and i summer a good place to visit after a long country walk nearby and there are many of them.

Tonight was fantastic! what wonderful staff and service, definitely worth every penny. My kids tried the lamb souvla, their weekend special. I had the stifado which was tender with a lot of unique flavours. This restaurant should be on your to do list if in Westcliff. The family run environment is a lovely atmosphere to be in 🙂

came here for a little christmas outing with my family, the food was nothing short of perfection, every course was delicious, every waitress was spot on and the atmosphere was incredible. We had the mezedakia to start which was a selection of all the best dips which was lovely and complimentary bread to accompany it. Then i had the homemade Tava as recommended by my waitress, i’d never had this before but i was definitely impressed and will have again! the drinks came out hastily and like everything else was delicious! i had a lovely night and all thanks to tommy! can’t wait to return soon!!

Just had a nice dinner with my friend, we shared the gyros chicken club and we loved it. The costumer service was excellent, Edison and Mimis made sure we got the best experience of the Greek taste.

Courier went to wrong address and wrong road and when he called and told him the postcode said it was too far? Husband went out to pick it up which was pointless having a delivery

I love this pub. Greece kitchen was beautiful all time. Old owner changed menu every moon and we was every time happy. New owner of this pub is beautiful lady but after 1.5 year is menu still same just with few maybe 4 new foods. We feeling change of quality food When I talk about this with my friends. Every is fresh but not to much tasty like 1.5 year before. For me it's disappointment when I can't try new menu. I don't want eat the same whole year every week. I like the beer in this pub and service is brilliant. I hope than we will taste new menu with recipes soon.

We’ve eaten at Olive Garden many times over the years and always had a lovely meal with friendly service. This week we visited for a family birthday and one member of our party had some unusual dietary restrictions due to a health condition. The staff were very professional and patient in their approach. The chef was happy to come out and discuss the dietary needs and talk through items on the menu that could or could not be amended to meet the needs. Unfortunately, due to their health issues, the member of the party needed to leave not long after ordering. All staff involved were incredibly patient and kind in dealing with a dynamic and challenging situation and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. The food was great as always. But to receive the level of service we did is greatly appreciated and stands head and shoulders above what passes for service in many other restaurants.

Its shut now i hope it comes back i swear no lie they where breaking plates on the floor. There was dancing the food was very nice and great value for money. Hope it comes back.

Lovely restaurant, the service was great and I would say the prices were very affordable with 2 courses at £28.90, with steak included. I was very impressed with the quality and the cost of this was very reasonable. The restaurant is small, but the quality of the food was excellent and the steak was delicious.
