We had a fabulous meal for my father in law's birthday. The Sunday roast was fantastic but the stand out dish was the sharing meze starter. Great service and my father in law said the beer was great too. We'll definitely be back soon!

A really lovely character filled pub with great food reasonably priced and excellent service. Would highly recommend and will visit again.

Had a good time with nice people. Just ate a sausage roll with chips. Good ale friendly staff.

We love visiting this traditional pub that just serves Greek food. The staff always make you feel so welcome, the food is excellent with an interesting varied menu. It is always busy with customers either eating in or just coming for a drink, which makes for a nice lively atmosphere. There is seating outside the front and seating in an attractive garden in the back with a carpark plus parking on the street.

It was incredible. By far the best restaurant I've visited in the area. The food was delicious and it came almost instantly. The service was quick and the staff were amazing. I had a tomahawk pork steak alongside some cyprian dips (like tzatziki) and I was blown away. Amazing experience. Will definitely come back

6 of us sea kayakers turned up for a planning meeting and meal and pint.....guys, you've got your pub spot on....bravo.....simple tasty reasonably priced grub, friendly service, proper pub atmosphere....used to come here pre covid and will make it my local again from now on.

A lovely pub with wonderful new owners. We particularly loved the menu which gave me loads of options on my gluten free, vegetarian diet, whilst still having plenty of delicious options for the non-fussy eaters and kids. Can’t wait to visit again.

Had a table for 2 Saturday evening. Very welcoming,cosy venue. Have visited before and was impressed then . I understand it has had a change of ownership since then and maybe the online menu needs updating, however it doesn't distract from the excellent quality of food and the staff are very attentive. Love this pub. The food is always good (not amazing, but very solid). The beer selection is great too. In addition, the place has a very welcoming feel. All the staff I’ve spoken to are pleasant and accommodating and the atmosphere in the place is just right. Good balance between somewhere to go for a few pints on an evening or somewhere for a Sunday lunch.

Always a great place to eat, or just for a drink. ALWAYS very busy when serving food Wednesday through to Sunday lunch. Strongly suggest that you book ahead or you might be disappointed. Brilliant staff as well!!

Such a shame they don't offer ANY puddings on Friday even when ordering a full sit down meal. The halloumi dish was very tasty, the atmosphere was good it was busy and very loud. Staff were very friendly, but missed a few drinks and did offer any dessert and we only found this out by asking for dessert menu.

If you are looking for some fantastic Greek food in a friendly and relaxed environment, look no further. We started with a meze, then enjoyed the souvlaki, moussaka and sheftalia, all of which came with a Greek salad, pitta and fries. A great lunch stop, highly recommend 🇬🇷 🙌

Good food not not that Greek. I mean the only Greek taste was the tzatziki . Otherwise good food:meat and fish.

Have hosted a couple of large-ish birthday lunches here (they reserved us a great side room) and have come to eat in smaller groups several times. Great food, generous portions, extensive Greek menu, good beer selection, excellent service with friendly staff, all at very reasonable prices! Mixed grill, moussaka or tomahawk chop are almost 2 meals and they will help you box up leftovers. Many options for Vegan or GF. Great place and well worth the drive to out to Stapleford. Thanks!

Absolutely wonderful. This is without a doubt the best pub I've ever been in. The owners and staff are all so friendly and welcoming, the general atmosphere is always warm and happy, with plenty of banter if you want it and it just feels "right" whether you're at the bar or in the restaurant. Speaking of the restaurant the food is always freshly prepared and cooked to order, delicious and good value for money. It's no surprise that the service is also always excellent. It probably sounds like I have an affiliation with this pub but I don't, I'm simply saying it as it is.

A group of 29 of us went for an anniversary dinner of our dance group. We had a special menu selected from the standard menu and served ‘buffet style’. The food was excellent, really tasty and plentiful and suited vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The staff were friendly and welcoming and happy to accommodate all our requirements. The atmosphere was very congenial and, as a result, we had a lovely, happy evening.

Excellent pub, great staff, outstanding selection of ales & incredible Greek food! A must visit if you’re nearby, large free car park available, lovely beer garden when the weathers a bit warmer.

As a local pub it seemed to be a great part of the community. However when we were there the ambience was terrible. They were testing the sound for a New years gig very squeaky and loud, not thought of the customers around .Food wise let’s down to the seafood platter was disappointing seemed frozen, red mullet fish is certainly not local.. calamari tasted dry and with no flavour.I love to support local restaurants but from my experience I’d not personally recommend.

A great pub. Does food - excellent food - but it's a proper pub, the sort of place where you hang about after eating. A great asset to the village. Shame I can't give 6 stars!

Good place for locals and visiting groups. Bar area and restaurant. Greek food is on the menu. Sports shown on the large TV. Spacious attractive garden with seats and tables for food service. Dogs are allowed.

The Greek food menu is amazing here. The menu is varied and caters for a wide range of dietary requirements. The sharing meze is a must every time we go here. The staff are friendly and welcoming, They have an extensive range of drinks as well as delicious hot beverages. Although not personally tried the desserts, they always look very tempting (although too full by the end of the meal due to generous portion sizes).

Found The Three Horshoes on the Internet. Wanted something a bit different from the standard bistro type place whilst visiting Cambridge and certainly found it. Fabulous pub/restaurant just on the outskirts of the city serving a great range of Greek dishes together with some daily specials (duck, steaks etc). Very impressed and will definitely visit again when we're visiting Cambridge.

The food was spectacular, we shared the dips, meat and seafood platters and I would do it all over again. Experiencing Greek food in a lovely pub was a real game changer (the first time I've ever had Greek food out without lights so bright I feel like I'm in a pharmacy). The service was perfect, attentive without being intrusive and just so freaking lovely! I am already excited to go back!

First time visit; Called in for a couple of early beers on a hot Saturday about 5.30pm. Lovely pub! Well maintained throughout including the rear garden and seating out front. Good beer, friendly staff and the menu looks great concentrating on Greek food. Family friendly with tables outside and also a nice dining area. Looking forward to returning for the food which seems to get great reviews.

Food isn’t great; oily and under seasoning. Expensive for what it’s when compared to the old management. Good service though.

We arrived for lunch and chose the dining room although there is a pretty garden outside with tables and parasols. The food was outstanding and very generous. The shared messe could feed 6 people easily, and this was a starter. All Cypriot dishes tasted homemade and were absolutely scrumptious. We had swordfish cooked to perfection and sausages between us, The staff were welcoming and friendly. Will we go again, you bet! Highly recommended

First time we've been so no idea what it was like under the previous landlord....but under the new guys (Duncan & Justine) it is EXCELLENT. Fantastic food incl. lots of veggie options, reasonably priced (and you can't say that much these days), relaxed atmosphere where the "eating a meal" vs "just drinking at the bar" combo works perfectly well, lovely staff. We'll definitely be back👍🏻

Best pub in the South Cambs villages. Great food, great beer selection and always well kept, exceptional and varied wine list and an excellent choice of spirits and all the rest. Staff are friendly and endlessly helpful and the locals are welcoming.

Proper Greek food, hearty, good quality portions, freshly cooked, lively pub, best to reserve in advance. Loved the tomahawk pork steak and king prawns mains.

Went to lunch today and my god, I’ve been for drinks here but never food!!! The food was absolutely divine, the service was friendly, quick and superb! We definitely ordered more then we needed, but was absolutely delicious! If you love Greek food, you must go to this place! The garden is small and enclosed and it really was like sitting in a Greek garden eating Greek food! Perfect lunch, perfect place we will Be back

Worked hard to find us, with our dog, a space as they were very full. Very attentive and friendly staff. The most delicious food. Just what we wanted, but better.

I have visited a few times now with various people and the service and food is just as good every time. The staff will happily explain the menu and any changes that have arisen. The food always tastes amazing and is served piping hot. I particularly like the chicken souvlaki dish. I can't wait to go back again soon.

Absolutely love it here. We always have a wonderful night when we visit. Fantastic, delicious, authentic Cypriot food. Excellent choice of wines, beers, spirts (love the gin of the month) etc. Attentive staff. Chris the owner also cooks when the chef is away, as he did lastnight 🫶. What more could you ask for? Definitely worth a visit if you like Cypriot/Greek food 💯❣️

We went to the three horse shoes for the first time and we had a wonderful meal. We had the meze sharing plater followed by the meat platter and then Baklava and ice cream. Every thing was cooked so well and was the best greek food we have tasted. The staff were very helpul ten out ten for every thing well worth a visit you will have a lovely meal.

Just called in for a drink the other night, first time I've been in since the new incumbent has taken over. Very nice atmosphere, the bar staff friendly, a good choice of beers and lagers. Very popular, not tried the food yet!

Great pub in Shelford. The staff is great although they confused and switched my selected beer. All was great though, but please have in mind this place is really crowded on weekends. They also host a beer festival in April.

Sadly attended a funeral here today and were made to feel so welcome. Really compassionate and friendly staff. The food was excellent and service first class. I highly recommend the chocolate orange moose. Just like eating a Terry's chocolate orange.

On a visit from West Yorkshire and having visited the pub many years ago when I lived in Great Shelford, we booked a table on Saturday 22nd October and had a wonderful experience at the Three Horseshoes. The staff were first class and the young lady who served us was a delight. There was an excellent choice on the menu and the three of us ate well and left clean plates. Chris the owner was extremely pleasant and took time to chat to us about the three years we spent living in Cyprus. The meal was rounded off with Greek coffee which brought back wonderful memories of the "Island of Love". We will be back. Many thanks Chris and Co.

The only "local" left in Stapleford But it has character, drinks and good food What's not to like?

Very attentive friendly staff and quick service. Wonderful, delicious Greek food!! Good atmosphere with candles on tables. Don't live near here, but definitely will be back. Might leave out the starter next time to leave room for dessert...did have a sorbet, yum.

We had a funeral gathering at The Three Horseshoes. The landlord Christopher D is delightful. The food was very nicely prepared, and everything well priced. Highly recommended for parties and gatherings!

Excellent experience here, great pub, friendly and welcoming. It was actually for a wake after a funeral, and the food laid on was delicious. Really nice atmosphere too, so a good pub to go to anytime. Lovely inside and outside in the garden area.

This was my first visit here. The menu looking promising as it stated it catered for gf diets and it did not disappoint. We had a super sharing board complete with gf pitta (and non gf pitta for my friend). Good service and lovely wine. I’ll definitely be back.

Our first visit and what an enjoyable evening in this very busy pub. They have a public bar where you can just come in for a drink and an area for a restaurant. There are seating areas outside front and back. The pub is still very traditional in style and the only difference is that the menu is Greek food. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food excellent. We had good service throughout our two hour visit.

Really good quality, fresh healthy food, expertly cooked and presented. The menu is based on Greek cuisine snd includes a number of vegan dishes -that are equally enjoyable for meat eaters. Excellent service and good value -the pub itself is nothing special, which is just as well or it would be twice the price. There is a good range of beers o m offer

Only gave 3 stars as the fresh pork scratchings were not there and I have to say they are awesome and I let my workers down after going on about them all day 🍁the bar man was very polite

We visited her because of a recommendation from the site warden (Bob) at the local camping site. Our visit was superb, the young waiter was knowledgeable about the drinks and food menu, so ordering was easy, the drinks arrived and then the food, but as the weather was turning we were able to relocate inside to eat our meals. Then came Chris to check on our food etc, and what ensued led to greek shots and lots of banter about spaghetti Bob. Chris made the evening for us as we each take away fond memories of our visit. We can highly recommend the Three Horseshoes and will not hesitate to return again when next we visit Great Shelford👍👍

Excellent traditional Greek Cypriot dishes with extremely attentive service. Strongly recommend the mixed meze, absolutely no weak plates!

Visited for the first time today for lunch. The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

We had a very nice meal here, big sharing pattern to start, and authentic Greek sausages and moussaka for mains. Inside dining area was a little cramped and did become quite noisy is my only criticism. But a very nice place
