Thanks very much for keeping my food warm while I was delayed. Great service, amazing food.

Placed an order for delivery which was accepted. We waited over an hour for the food when we were informed that the restaurant had cancelled our order. Subsequently we’re now struggling to find somewhere that is accepting orders and doesn’t have a 120+ min wait…. Meanwhile Yeerologist is still accepting orders. It’s really unacceptable to be honest.

Absolutely delicious food, chilled atmosphere and lovely people. Can’t imagine I’d have enjoyed a single other lunch in Stortford that much ever!

Sadly one of the items was incorrect (we ordered a Souvlaki, but got the pork yeeros) but it was still delicious 😋

We moved to Takeley today so ordered our first takeaway. The food was fantastic!! Honestly so many fresh flavours, tender meat. Excellent food. Will defo order again!

Highlight recommend because, if you look skinny and happen to show you’re quite hungry, these guys will go above and beyond to stuff you with amazingly tasty Greek style food. The portion size was awesome!!

Always delicious food here! Although when you ask for a deal box, it states it's with Tzatziki sauce, but you get it with honey mustard... still good, but not the same! Eat17 is a great place to eat, as long as you know you & your clothes are gonna be smelling to cooked food all day long 🥹

Food was cold. For the price there was far too many bland fries in the serve and not enough meat. It seems the box is made to look full with the fries.

First order turned up 25 mins late with undercooked chicken. Called to be told no it wasn’t! Yes it was! Asked them to send a new one out was told 20mins took 55mins and the wrap contained three pieces of chicken for a double skewer but at least it was cooked. Mistakes happen but no need to be rude or mess people around when they have children at home that are hungry and waiting for food. Never left a bad review before and gutted I’ve had to leave one here as generally the food has always been

The guys where very nice and friendly and the food was delicious. Loads of potatoes, pita and salad and the souvlaki was neither fatty nor burnt but juicy and tasty. As a Greek who knows how traditional gyros and souvlaki taste like, I totally recommend this place. A bit expensive but definetely worth spending a bit more to have proper Greek food in a large portion. Most of Greek places in the UK charge the same but serve smaller portions. Will absolutely visit again if I'm in the area in the future!

Unfortunately the driver didn't follow instructions to find the address. On a positive note, he delivered on the end :)

Ordered 2 of the mixed grill for a family of 4 and it was amazing. Thank you so much, nicely spiced with plenty of tzatziki and remoulade.

A MUST for either a quick takeaway or to dine in. One of the best in the area for a taste of Greek street food. The service from staff was lovely when we dined in and when we ordered through Deliveroo it was made quickly and was hot when arrived , I can say i will be going back !!!!

Order was taken even 5 minutes before afternoon break. Delivered without delay. Delicious gyros with pork meat, veggies and fries. 8.50£ portion is perfect for lunch, brunch or even dinner.

This is the worst place that i have ever ordered food i have placed a order and waited 2 hours than i call the restaurant to check on my food the guy didn’t even know what’s happening with my order than he said the driver make some mistake and that the restaurant is close, and i have to ask for refund from just eat this is so ridiculous service from this restaurant i want my food not refund ive been waiting and not even a call from the restaurant to tell me that i wont receive my food shame on you arrogant person from the restaurant!!!!

The meal was absolutely fantastic and it didn't take long to make a d I would definitely go again.

although I felt it was quite expensive when I ordered it, I was really impressed with the food, full of flavour. The mixed grill isn't cheap but there is more than enough for 2 people. Will definitely order again

Could have done with a few more chips for the extra money. But super tasty.

Ordered on the just eat platform which was fine. Waited over an hour only to chase up my order to find out it had been delivered to the wrong address!! Very poor container service, when explaining the issue there was no apology and the gentlemen also doubted my honesty. Things go wrong I get it but due to the lack of customer service which costs nothing, I shall not be returning. Shame

Ordered at 7.30pm, via Deliveroo, which states the place closed at 9pm. Restaurant accepts my order, app informs me that my order will be delivered at between 8.20-8.50pm. I get a call from Deliveroo at 8.31pm, to say that my order has been cancelled... Great, instead of letting me know that you're not open at the time it says my order will be delivered (so I can order elsewhere), don't have the items available (you should really know this before you accept my order at your end) and apparently your printout wasn't working in the restaurant (how do you then know that my items aren't available 🤔); you leave it until AFTER your revised closing time of 8pm (which would have been only 20 minutes after I placed my order) to advise me you've cancelled my order. All refunded back to me, blah, blah, blah. Contacted Deliveroo and they just issued platitudes and apologies and didn't really understand that it wasn't a refund that was the issue. It's the manner and time in which my order was cancelled. Totally unprofessionally, and unbelievable. Won't be ordering from here again. Thanks for nothing. Absolutely abysmal service.

This time halloumi was burned, and it was supposed to get 4 slices on pita , instead I’ve got just 2. The chicken yeeros portion are smaller than before.

Absolutely delicious! They forgot our Greek salad but were straight back with it and an extra side of flat bread thrown in. Will be back!

Lovely pork gyros, really tasty

I don’t really take the time to leave a review to a restaurant/take away but I believe this place deserves one. The food is very tasty and always really well cooked. We have been ordering few different times from this place and there have only been one issue (only once) when some of our food was missing: they offered a replace and they gave us extra items as we had to take our vehicle and collect. Value a business when they have an issue and base your valuation on they way the resolve and deal with it: 5 stars!

Placed an order for delivery, paid for it, given a time slot then told by text message an HOUR later that it’s cancelled, useless, don’t bother

The delivery man couldnt find the flat and couldnt understand simple English words like "come out of the gate" and proceeded to swear in his own language to me - after delivering the food to me when I went to find him in the street.

I wouldn’t order again, we got the wrong items and the food was lukewarm. I’ve eaten in the restaurant and it’s was nice but as delivery the pitta is soggy from condensation. Not a good takeaway option

Order from The Yeerologist before with 5-Star food and service. Unfortunately this time the delivery was late and food arrived just slightly warm. I had to put it back in the oven to enjoy it.

Food banging! Delivery which isn’t the restaurants fault really bad. This is the second order in as many days from me!

We usually love our food from the yeerologist but today I was left disappointed. Our wraps were so small considering you pay £8 for one. Our feta chips were completely cold and the feta was just left in one block dumped on top, when usually it’s all nice and crumbled in the chips. There was also a big chunk of meat in my chips which I was not happy about as I am vegetarian. Tried calling the restaurant a few times to resolve this and could not get through hence why I am leaving this review.

We decided to try their take away service as a local couple via a fast food app. They did not disappoint! Made such a nice change to the usual kebab takeaway. The food arrived hot, and Portions are large too. We will definitely be ordering from them again soon.

Food was great as always and restaurant were brilliant. Complaint is regarding delivery time. Was told between 18:25 & 18:45. Arrived at 7:15 but was marked delivered at 18:30. This was certainly not the case.

Food is lovely but the delivery was late and therefore food was cold which ruined it tonight. Usually is very good.

Some of the healthiest and best tasting food in the area, with one particularly amazing vegan dish (tomato fritter). Enjoy their personal touches with handwritten notes from time to time and the change in the recipe was great, keep it up 👌🏼 Always quick delivery times and fresh, hot food on arrival. Can’t fault this place!

very little care for costumer's request. Asked for no paprika for the second time (they wrote it down) and for the second time they put paprika anyway. I really dislike the taste of paprika and they couldn't care less. Watch out if you're allergic to something on their menu...
