The food is nice, but only with the sauces. This used to be my favourite place to eat but I got so sick of begging for the 3 sauces the meal is supposed to come with, as they’d only ever give me the extra sauce I buy (for a whole 50 pence by the way). I went yesterday and felt tired, they as usual didn’t give me the sauce and I couldn’t be bothered to ask because a few times a certain woman that works there has tried not to give them me even though in other stores they give you the three sauces anyway. I don’t understand it, it makes the food inedible. I literally threw it straight in the bin and decided to go somewhere else; and I won’t be returning.

We visited on Christmas Eve for the regular family meal. Two of the dishes were returned because the pasta was hard and undercooked. The replacement pasta dish was equally poor; the bolognese sauce had little to no meat - hence why the review is only a 2/5. However, the service, especially from the restaurant supervisor ,Louis, was exceptional. He was lovely and very apologetic, polite, and attentive.

Kind of a weird experience. Nice looking bar but feels a bit like a dodgy club once you enter the absolutely vile toilets to find a man with a full blown market stall sitting directly in front of the hand driers. I also understand it's only German inspired but the German word for wine is spelled wrong on the menu. 'Wien' as it says on the menu, is German for Vienna and is not the word 'wein' as I assume was intended. We found it hilarious but honestly it's a bit embarrassing. Staff seemed initially unaware of their own booking system, we'd only booked due to Nottingham being extremely busy that day. After asking several members of staff we were eventually seated at a table that had been reserved for us but I'm unsure what the confusion was, particularly since their booking system states there is a £10pp fee if you don't show up. The food was absolutely horrific, I didn't expect miracles from a sports bar but it's genuinely awful. The redeeming factor was the beer which was very nice. We received speedy service and despite the initial confusion the staff were really friendly.
