The best restaurants serving French food in Cardiff South Wales

The man serving the fondue on 6th November was very rude and stuck up. The fondue night is overrated and the service was slow.

Great food! We both loved the lamb scallops and ravioli! The service was class, good price and great drawings!! Thanks again! Hidden gem this place!

General Cardiff bay Manager Nickolas (Nick) Gale told me I don't care about anything I just care about making money from Cote restaurant...worst manager ever.. copy of my complaint I got throat cancer and I am having chemotherapy. We decide to go have nice family meal together. My family 4 person went Cote restaurant in Cardiff Bay. Absolute awful customer service. Went at around 9:15 (1 November) with a view of many empty tables asking if we could eat there. We were told no, and when asked why the staff said we don’t have enough people working so come back in half an hour. We asked if we could sit for a drink for half an hour then eat and they declined this offer. We came back at 9:45, were blanked for 15 mins until exactly 10 when someone said the kitchen was closed. They refused to serve us. I know you are busy but customer service should be better. We walked away from the restaurant because of the poor customer service attitude. No wonder there was hardly anyone in there at a peak time of the day. I was even more disgusted at the dismissive response from the branch staff. Decided to treat myself and have escargot and steak. Loved the atmosphere made all the more real by the French family that followed me in. Fifth time I've had escargot (4 times in Wales including at home and once in England) enjoyed them very much, the steak was melt in the mouth. I'm not a wine connoisseur, found it pleasant, and the french coffee was delicious. Really enjoyed myself and hope to go back soon

Nice place with delicious food but I like the old one in Cardiff bay more due to the location. But it's worthwhile getting food in this restaurant.

Despite being unable to book in advance, the Sticky Fingers website states plenty of walk in tables are available. We did get a table but were unable to order the food we wanted as it was pre-order with a table booking only! No where on the Sticky Fingers website did it actually state this. The manager was very rude and he tried to pass the buck to the vendor which was a bit sad really! Poorly organised with staff who had no clue.

The owner is very welcoming, the interior decoration and atmosphere in the store are very warm, and the food is delicious.
